Deliciously prepared Thai food and the friendliest and best service we have had in Florida so far. We eat Thai all the time at home in NYC and this is up to those standards for sure. We had curry, stir fry and sushi and it was all impeccable. My wife is Vietnamese and is very exacting for her Asian food and she really liked the food and the service. Oh, and Willie is a very nice guy and brought us a free plate of tuna sushi cut into hearts when he heard we got married today. It was delicious and a very sweet touch! read more

So, so good!!! Enjoyed a delicious takeout dinner from Thai Lotus featuring the basil noodles and pad see ew. The entrees were super fresh, perfectly spicy per our request and included a complimentary delicious fried banana (?) dessert. Let's start with the positive. Very nice and tentative server. Answered questions about the menu. Food appearance was nice. Food came very fast and was hot. Chicken Pad Thai was ok. Spring roll was so/so. Sushi was below par, I'd rather eat Publix sushi. We ordered the Fried Octopus ball. We expected them to be loaded with octopus but when we cut them open they each had a piece of octopus a tad larger than the size of a pinky nail. The rest was batter. Sadly we won't be back. Absolutely wonderful. I have found myself enjoying Thai cuisine more often these days; so naturally I've been exploring my local options. This restaurant is actually tied for first with my other favorite Thai place, located in Royal Palm Beach, Bangkok Jam. We walked in with a party of 4 on Friday, March 23rd, after deciding not to wait forever for a table across the street at one of the restaurants at Harbourside. Boy am I glad we did. We were welcomed with smiles from the staff and were seated immediately by a friendly gentleman. Decor seemed modern and the bathrooms were clean. I overheard the table next to us leaving as they were absolutely praising their waiter and the food- I knew I was in for a treat. Our waitress was extremely kind, caring, and attentive. Answered all the questions we had, and made sure our drinks were never below half. THE FOOD- I have to say, the extensive menu with Japanese selections and Thai selections- along with the sushi, it has something for everyone. I had Pad Thai which my waitress and I talked about whether I should go traditional or fusion style. Fusion being a more saucy Pad Thai. I like my noodles on the drier side so I went with the traditional. Others at my table tried fusion, and they loved it. However, I don't think they loved it as much as I loved my traditional. Hands down great food. Everyone at my table agreed. Like I said, the only place that could rival Thai Lotus would be Bangkok Jam. I'm sticking to those two anytime I feel a craving for Thai. WOW.. I stopped in the North Palm Beach restaurant that just changed ownership. I ordered Beef Pad Se Ewe and wound up with Beef Pad Thai..It was NOT what I wanted. I asked the lovely waitress about my order and she said that is the way they make it now. New Ownership... It tasted fine but it was not what I wanted to have for lunch. What a terrific dinning experience. There is more than enough room so you're never crowded. The sushi was great. My wife wanted both sushi and Thai, which wasn't a problem since they have a combo platter with both. They even have plastic chopstick helpers for the kids. Our server was so nice and talked with us about his home in Bangkok. Also if you're familiar with ramune (Japanese soda) they have it chilled and ready to drink!!! that is the icing on the cake for this restaurant. read more

The restaurant got such great reviews but my lunch wasn't the case. I ordered Chicken Panang lunch and it wasn't the best. The soup and spring roll were really great, as was the Thai tea. The entree left me feeling unsatisfied. The panang and chicken mixture were clearly microwaved as they were scalding hot and grease was lining the sides of the bowl. Great food and good friendly service! We had the pad Thai and the spicy green curry. We love spicy food, but in Florida places often don't make it spicy even if you request it. Thai Lotus did! This may not be a fair review. I do not eat sushi, we went here because my daughter likes sushi and loves Pad Thai. She had brace adjustments, bands and a chain (??? YES) done on Thursday so I wanted to give her something soft. We had been here before and happened to be in the plaza. It was a downpour outside, we were soaked when we arrived at 8:30. We were promptly seated. The hostess provided water and went back to the door. We waited ten minutes before our waiter came by. It was not super crowded and they were still seating people as they came in. When he finally asked for our drink order I had decided to stick with water, my daughter asked for hot tea ( she was pretty wet ). It took another 10 minutes for the tea to arrive but guests seated after us were enjoying their beverages. Hmpf.. we ordered the Thai sampler, Shrimp Pad Thai, and Garlic Shrimp Stir Fry. The sampler was ok - the egg rolls were good but too hard for brave-girl, she ate the dumplings and said they were good. I had one of the chicken satay. The sampler and our food delivery was handled by a busboy and he was the most attentive of all the staff. The flavors of our main dishes was good. The stir fry was more like soup. I am trying to do lower carb so no rice. I was very disappointed by the service and there was no real valid reason. read more

I've only been here once, with some coworkers for lunch. The food was good but not great. The ambiance in the restaurant was kind of spooky (too dark), but possibly that's because I was there for lunch, not dinner. Not too pricey, though, which is nice. Also it's right next to a movie theatre, so I imagine it would be convenient for dinner and a movie. I suspect the dinners are better than the lunches. read more

The miso soup was bland and lacked any flavor at all. The sashimi was disgusting. Fish was either old or tainted, I have fresher sashimi at Publix! We finally made it to Thai Lotus after seeing a movie at Cinepolis. We arrived around 7:30pm on a Sunday night and there was plenty of seating available. They had a small selection of beer and wine available. I had the garlic bowl with shrimp and squid, which was delicious and a huge portion - enough for lunch the next day! My husband had the chicken fried rice. While his portion was probably big enough for leftovers, he said it was so good he decided to eat it all is one sitting. We were surprised by how fast our meals came out, especially because a couple of big groups came in right after us. We could see the meals being made, so we knew they were fresh too!
