We are definitely spoiled with the Thai restaurants in western Washington. I've had only good experiences and I'll add Thai Naan to the list. I make a trip to Snohomish every summer - so far the dining experiences have been lackluster - not this time! Thai food in a little town? Yes! It was the best meal I've had in Snohomish in ages. I had the panang curry - served with soup, pad thai and rice. Hit the spot! And a tasty thai coffee that didn't disappoint. We went here twice in one week, the first time for a recommendation and the second to try their lunch combo. The food was pretty decent with a good texture to the noodles and a zesty sause but also not in our top phad Thais either. The portions were pretty good with both of us able to share one and be full. The service was pretty prompt for only having one server. They were pretty friendly and prompt with waters. The atmosphere was a little better than most Thai places but most of them are pretty cheesy so the bar is a bit lower anyway. Overall it was a pretty decent place if you're in the area. read more

Thai in a small town would usually make me nervous but these folks are every bit as good as any Thai spot in Seattle or Bellevue. I've been here several times and never once had a bad meal. My absolute favorite is the Thai beef salad: I have used to try to restrain myself from drinking the remaining dressing and beef drippings left in the bottom of the bowl (left after finishing) out of fear of looking like a savage, but then I figured I'd rather look like a savage than waste it. This place now tops my list of favorite restaurants and ruins any other Thai restaurant I've ever been to. I wish I would've taken more photos of food but I was so excited to eat. I'm fairly new to Thai food and I have my tried and true go to dishes and this hits all my marks. It's right in downtown Snohomish and is small but the service was quick and friendly for a busy Friday night. Parking is kind of a pain downtown but it could've been worse and at least it was free. My friend and I ordered thai teas, crab delight (I think that's the name they're basically crab rangoons), chicken pad see eew spicy level 2, and garlic chicken. I now only want to drink Thai teas from these large pitchers and all the dishes are big enough to share. The prices are amazing for the quality and amount of food. The Thai teas were only $5 and you get so much compared to most restaurants. My half of the bill was around $28 and I was very full plus we had some leftovers. I love this place it is my new obsession I will probably ask for level 3 spiciness next time on the pad see eew. I will be back frequently and can't wait to bring more people. I am so sad to write this. We are regulars at Thai Nann, I always get the Tofu Pad Thai. We ordered last week Tofu Pad Thai and Chicken Pad Thai, it was so dry my husband wouldn't finish it. I was craving my pad Thai this weekend and my husband advised against it, but I ordered anyways. I couldn't eat it. It tasted so horrible. It wasn't dry at all, but the sauce was not the same sauce I've had a million times, it tasted metallic with the smell of wet dog, disgusting. All four members of the house took a bite and no one wanted to eat a $15 plate of pad Thai. So bummed. I called and asked if they had accidentally used the wrong sauce, she said no. Went for Lunch, had two of the Chef's Specials. Food was served quickly, plating was nice and tasted so very good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only problem was minor; we ask for medium spice - one dish was mildly spicy, the second had no spice at all. We commented and they admitted the spice level was different cook to cook. Been here a few times so decided to finally leave a review. Decent Thai restaurant and the best in Snohomish. Both our older teenage kids really like it here and daughter wanted some before heading back to university after the ling Presidents Day weekend. We came as a family for an early dinner and the place was practically deserted. So much the better for us... We shared two appetizers and each if tgem had four portions so that worked out great. The Chicken Satay with peanut saucr was substantial, a large sized well cooked and flavorful chicken tender. We also shared the crispy Spring Rolls which were pretty typical but tasty none the less. My go to Thai dish is chicken Red Curry but this time i wanted a noodle dish so tried the same thing my wife had, the Pad Kee Mao. Mine was three stars which had decent spice but wasn't overwhelming. Wife's was 2 stars and she said hers was perfect too so they know how to get the spice right. Overall it was a great meal, fully deserving of five stars. Next time I will have to try the Tom Yum to really pass the final judgement. read more

Um...what happened, Thai Naan? I've always had good experiences here in the past but my pad see ew on my recent visit was not good. It was flavorless and basically a dish of bland rice noodles and chicken with little seasoning or sauce. I love the soy sauce based flavor of this dish but it was completely lacking this time around. It was so lackluster that I barely touched my plate and didn't even bother with the leftovers. On the plus side, kudos to Thai Naan for once again accommodating my large group of friends. I think I may have been the only one to have issues with my dish because everyone else seemed happy. Despite loving the pad see ew here before, this makes me hesitant to order it again. Oh my goodness, was I happy with Thai Naan! I have tried many a Thai restaurant in the last few years, but don't generally see anything on the menu that leads me astray from my typical Pad See Ew or Yellow Curry dishes. I figured this visit was going to be no different, but my interest was immediately peaked when I noticed the Avocado Curry listing and photo. It includes fresh avocado in green curry sauce, bamboo shoots, green bean, zucchini, basil with a choice of protein. I had never tried bamboo or green curry, but I do absolutely love avocado and veggies so I figured I'd go ahead and give it a shot. It was delicious! My chicken was cooked perfectly and there was more avocado than I knew what to do with. I can honestly say this has become my favorite Thai dish and I really hope to find a restaurant at home in San Diego that serves this dish. The green curry sauce isn't overpowering at all, but rather compliments the other flavors of the vegetables and avocado. There was so much food that I was unable to finish and I would have loved to eat my leftovers that weekend, but as I was in town visiting, I sadly didn't get the opportunity. This place is good for a small town like Snohomish. We got the pad Thai and coconut prawns. The coconut prawns were sweet and crispy. I usually ask for extra peanut sauce on the side for my pad Thai, but their pad Thai is extremely saucy and flavorful. I asked for 3star and it wasn't spicy. Previous experience from this place usual leaves around a 50 minute delivery time. At around 7:07 I called inquiring about order and they told me it was on the way. I called again 45 minutes later and they told me the driver was lost. They told me the driver would call me. This is absolutely the best Thai food I've ever had. Everything is fresh and clean. I usually go for the green curry, which is creamy and flavorful and absolutely delicious. All of their curries are to die for, though. It comes with a generous helping of perfectly cooked rice, and a if you get the lunch special there's also some amazing pad Thai and soup. Their Thai iced tea is so wonderful as well. Service is always great, fast and friendly. Prices are totally reasonable. Wide noodle dish (I forget the name of the dish, number 26 I think) with veggies, chicken and chili paste tasted wonderful with just the right amount of spicy heat. Ate here for lunch on a weekday while shopping downtown Snohomish. Ordered the combination lunch with Pad Thai and chicken green curry for around $11, which is on par with pricing in the area considering the downtown location - though slightly higher than other Thai restaurants I've been too. Lunch came with delicious soup (bonus!) and everything had great flavor. There was lots of chicken and vegetables in the curry and the flavor was sweet and savory. I'm picky about green curry and this one was definitely delicious. Water refills were prompt and the atmosphere was nice. Not sure if it's a cultural thing, but I found the waitress to be a bit rude. She came over to our table and asked if we are ready to order, when we replied yes she immediately spun around and went into the kitchen. Didn't say anything. It was odd. A few moments later she came out with a plate of food for another table. She then walked over and again after take our order. She brought our food out, and brought me the wrong dish. After she set the food down I realized it was the wrong thing and I could not get her attention. She had gone into the kitchen and stayed there for quite a while. When she finally came back out I told her that wasn't what I ordered. She argued with me. She then curtly grab the plate and took it to the kitchen. Thai Naan - Pad Thai with garlic lovers chicken - Thai Near Me - Snohomish, Washington

I have ordered delivery from Thai Naan three times. I have never eaten in the restaurant, so I can't speak to that experience, but from a delivery standpoint they are always very friendly and fast. We even had an issue once where they overcharged us by accident, and they called us even before we noticed to tell us about the error and to let us know they were correcting the charge. I'm always impressed with their ingredients. They use nice cuts of meat- the chicken is always lean - and the vegetables are always cooked so that the peppers still have crispness and aren't mushy. My only complaint is I could not describe their dishes as having traditional Thai flavors, but instead are the Americanized version of Thai. Each time I order I'm hoping for Thai flavors - spicy enough to make you sweat, but super fresh and flavorful - and instead I get very mild and often very sweet flavors. The larb is extremely sweet- the sauce almost tasted syrupy. The panang curry had a nice flavor, but was very very mild. And same goes for the garlic delight, pad kee mao, pad talay, hot and sour soup, and potstickers, among others. Everything is just very mild in flavor, at times almost bland, and at worst a bit too sweet. And even when we ask for 5 star spicy, and explain that we want "real Thai 5 star spicy ", the dish arrives closer to what I would call 1 star spicy- you can see pepper flakes, but can't taste them. So, all in all, if you are looking for Americanized versions of Thai dishes (no judgement! Sometimes I really want peanutty/limey/sweet pad thai too!), Thai Naan uses wonderful ingredients and the staff are friendly and fast. But if you like spicy make-you-sweat-but-it's-so-good-you-can't-stop-eating flavors, this sadly is not the place for you. read more

I've walked past Thai Naan so many times but never stopped. Until the other night! We decided to try something different for dinner and it was amazing. I had the Tom Yum soup and it was the most flavorful thing I've eaten in ages. The lemongrass broth was divine. My son had the garlic chicken, my daughter had the orange chicken. A thousand times better than any typical orange chicken you'd get from Chinese take out. Super flavorful, super sticky and spicy. I can't wait to go back again.
