A hidden gem, 5 star experience for sure! An adorable spot on the river in downtown Snohomish that serves up fresh, delicious seafood items. They had so many amazing sounding items on the menu it was hard to choose - steamers, fish & chips, oysters, tacos, chowders, etc. I had a cup of chowder ($7) and 2 pieces of fried cod a la carte ($4.75 each). Perfect on a cozy, overcast PNW day. The chowder was incredible and so hot I burned my mouth. The fish was also PHENOMENOL - the fish pieces were large and fresh and the batter is crispy and herby. Also served so fresh & hot it burned my mouth. It's one of those one in a million moments where a burned mouth is totally worth it, lol! The staff are so upbeat and nice despite it being super crowded. The interior is casual and has "fishery" vibes. There is a small amount of seating and an open kitchen.

Cute little gem on Main Street in historic downtown Snohomish! First off, the vibes are fun. The art on the interior is cute and adds a lot to the place. The food is great. I especially suggest their beer batter for the fish and chips, and also the clam chowder. If you want to sample a little bit of everything, grab a captains platter. They have a great list of beers on tap. In summer there is a decent size patio, and they will have the doors open and air flowing, it feels great! The only downfall is it's right on the street so road noise is loud. One of my top recommendations in downtown Snohomish!

Oh my God I have to say I have asked for Rockefeller oysters and they delivered biggest oysters. Best seasoning Spanish bread cheese in this Rockefeller oyster that I have had you gotta try it. It's the best. I'm hoping they keep it as a regular item.

I don't know how you can do fried fish so well but potatoes so blah and greasy. This has been the only thing about Andy's I still don't get after so many years. And I thought maybe I was alone, but looking at other tables I don't think so. Fish and sandwiches are killer though!

Excellent beer battered Alaskan cod! The gumbo is amazing (but a little spicy). We loved the fresh and the bbq'd oysters. My husband and I split the seafood linguine. Service was great! Highly recommend!

We were craving fish and chips for lunch today and found Andy's through a quick Google search--so glad we did! It's a small spot, but the service was fast and friendly. We both ordered the fish and chips, and they were super delicious--crispy, fresh, and exactly what we were hoping for. My BF also got the seafood gumbo, which was packed with flavor and just as tasty. Overall, a great experience! We'll definitely be back.

Great outdoor patio, great location, delicious food, and attentive service. Really loved this hidden gem.

What a delightful surprise - Andy's fish house is a foodie-quality establishment in a location where I expected OK food, but nothing special. For the fish tacos there was a choice of fried, blackened or grilled - and Alaskan cod, halibut, or salmon -- and of course shrimp, prawns, scallops, or combinations. And we didn't begin to address the full reach of the menu, which on that day included an ono special. We had the chowder (quite good). We followed that with tacos (on Taco Tuesday) with blackened cod, and grilled halibut -- each came with its own sauce, and they were delightful. We topped it off with iced tea, though they had a bar available (we had a drive ahead of us, so passed on that). The restaurant is in what appears to be a former gas station or auto-shop, and it has a warm industrial look to it. The staff was friendly and helpful. And while the weather wasn't great, there was plenty of outdoor seating which must be quite wonderful in the summer. Next time we're in Snohomish, we'll be going back - it was great, and there are so many things to try.

I had the fish and chips supper tasty! The fish was light and crispy perfect potion. Fries were perfect. Loved sitting outside and the service was excellent! The only drawback was parking, street parking only.

Spicy popcorn shrimp and smoked salmon chunks appetizers, and the large front table by the window, were the highlights. To be transparent, my dad loves oysters, and the happy hour oysters were as expected. My son's muscles entree was good - but we had to drain out the sauce from bottom of pot, into the lid of pot, to enjoy the sauce with the cold sourdough bread that came on the side. Sauce was tasty, but overall it was too much work to get to the sauce, and I was disappointed the bread was right out of the bag or not warmed at least. I ordered the Cesar and added salmon. The Cesar dressing was definitely mayo based, but did contain anchovies, so likely homemade, it had potential, but it tasted mostly like mayo. If you don't love mayo, do not get the Cesar. My mom's Louie salad looked pretty boring, and she was disappointed (which is unusual). My son's girlfriend ordered fries and kids butter noodles - kids menu was great!!! Overall the food was just meh. The service was speedy, but our server had little patience for newbies with a couple questions. Since there was an hour way, we ended up at a little restaurant just up the hill, a place with a cocktail sign hanging out front, and their hummus looked homemade amazing. We ordered an abundant spread, and every dish impressed. The clear crowd favorite was the Singapore black pepper prawns - fragrant, perfectly spiced, and completely addictive. That black pepper sauce was hands down the star of the meal: rich, peppery, and deeply flavorful. It was my favorite and could easily be eaten on everything. The Mala curry crab and XO crab were both outstanding; layered with complex, indulgent flavors. The Thai green chili clams and saus mentega clams were vibrant and comforting, while the crab fried rice had generous morsels of crab folded throughout the dish. We also really enjoyed the Indonesian chicken wings, which were crispy and flavorful, and the stir-fried vegetables, which added a fresh, well-balanced contrast to the seafood-heavy menu. Everything traveled well, was thoughtfully prepared, and made for an unforgettable catered meal. If you're considering catering from Marimakan Crabhouse, I can't recommend it highly enough. I've waited tables myself for over 10 years, from diners to fine dining, and I wouldn't have dreamed of ever acting like that with a guest. At this point I spoke to the manager and he took the server off our table. The manager was very understanding and acted quickly to switch us to a new server, and they let us order the oysters with just the migonette. Even though the manager comped the oysters, and was trying to salvage our experience, our visit was pretty much ruined by that server. I've never been openly disrespected by a waiter like that before, and I've played the interaction out in my mind multiple times, and I still have no idea what made him crash out like that. Servers are the face and the personality of any restaurant. And to see a waiter get so openly hostile when someone is trying to I ever encountered a server who was even a fraction as rude as this guy was - he went from zero to hostile in a matter of seconds, and I still have absolutely no idea why.
