We were really hungry and close to the restaurant and decided to try it out It was 4 in the evening There was a very nice gentleman serving very polite and warm Ordered mixed meat pad Thai Didn't like it as the noodles were like a lump in one piece very gooey and sticky could not eat it The massaman was average with small helpings they serve it in a small bowl and not the serving bowl This too did my taste that good The steamed rice was usual Liked their interiors looked very interesting Since heard good things about this restaurant will definitely try it again with some other dishes

Shrimp Tom Yum soup

Went again for lunch today and ordered the same as last time with the addition of pad Thai. Unfortunately the pad Thai had quite an overpowering taste of egg and we all took a bite and most of the dish went back as is. The Tom Yum soup and panang curry was amazing again. But the fish wasn't as flavorful as last time. The sauce was lemony and tangy but the fish itself lacked flavor and was a bit bland.

Great food, friendly owners. We always order the same thing: - Mango Salad to start (it comes with cashews, chicken AND shrimp!) - Pineapple Chicken Curry - Cashew Nut Chicken

I just wanted to update my post because this place really deserves it. Their food is always consistent taste wise and their customer service is as well. I've ordered 20x since last posting and I haven't been disappointed once. This will continue to be my go to place for great authentic Thai Food.

The service was OK and we had to wait a tad on the long side for our food and to pay the bill. When we came to eat for lunch it was empty but by the time we left there were a couple groups. I ordered the eggplant, peppers and basil in chilli sauce. It was supposed to be spicy but it was a tad more sweet with a hint of heat. 7/10 My boyfriend ordered pad Thai with shrimp and chicken. It was just average, a little soggy. Would give it a 6.5/10 Our appetizer the deep fried was delicious, crispy and the sauce was yum. We have had better Thai but its decent enough if you are craving some Thai and you are in the area.

Yellow curry. A little too spicy for a yellow curry.

I've been here a few times as it's a local spot for Thai food for me. The only thing I've ever gotten here was the yellow curry, so that's what I'm basing my review on. In the past 2-3 times I've gotten takeout, the yellow curry was delicious. The texture wasn't too runny not too chunky/thick. I've really enjoyed it. However, I finally decided to dine in and of course, ordered the yellow curry. It wasn't quite the same. Maybe it was just me but I felt like it was not quite up to par as my past yellow curries here. Despite this, I will return. I would like to try other items on their menu.

Cashew chicken was tasty, quite sweet but good

Hit this place again and had a lovely feast. The satays were very good and tasty. Crispy on the outside and tender inside. The Basil chicken was great with a little heat and tasty. The chart chicken was good, sweet but good. So I'm still happy with this place.

Delicious food, good service and affordable. Perfect combination for a lazy weekend dinner. Truly a hidden gem. Pad Thai is highly recommended. Cost: 25 CAD for 2 adults

A quaint Thai cuisine dine-in with authentic food

A quaint Thai dine-in offering authentic taste: One of the first experiences of eating out in Brampton and what a good experience it was. I started by ordering chicken satay on skewers with sweet sauce which got me warmed-up. Then, I ordered a barbeque chicken with drunken stirfry noodles. Chicken was cooked proper and barbequed to perfection with sauce on side. Noodles had abundunt veggies and chicken. Price for 2 : 26$ incl. taxes Overall experience : Thumps up!!

We tried the appetizer platter and it was really good for two people. The peanut sauce was very good. For the main dish, we ordered the basil chicken fried rice and steamed lemon fish. The size of the fish was pretty small but tasted good. The fried rice was very good. The only thing that I did not find authentic was the Thai iced tea - they used regular orange pekoe tetley tea instead of the orange Thai tea. I could tell from the taste right away that it wasn't the Thai iced tea but tetley. Otherwise, service was good. Will come back to this place again.

The stir-fried beef vermicelli was delicious!! The beef was tenderized and seasoned very well. Truly flavourful that I could eat more of the beef. Too bad it didn't come with a spring roll. Overall, I loved my meal. Verdict: I will definitely be going back when I'm in the Brampton area.

Excellent food. It was tasty and delicious. Just the right timing and service…read more I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good dish of Thai food.

Hello fellow foodies today I bring you an outstanding review for this Thai restaurant…read more Today during this horrible snow storm I 1/17/2022 I was reminiscing about my travels to Thailand, how nice and warm that country was and how amazing Thai food really is!!  So I had to get me some Pad Thai today! And ladies and gents was I ever glad I stopped into this place to grab some takeout today. After reading great reviews on Freshly Thai I had to drop in and grab some of their authentic Thai cuisine .They sit in a  free standing building almost in the downtown part of Brampton just on the north side of Queen St and the Main Street crossing. They have a huge patio for summer and plenty of seating on the inside. They do dining-in and takeout but under the current COVID restrictions there are some limitations. They claim to be fully authentic, gluten friendly and vegan friendly for those that require those options. There menu is quite authentic loaded will many options, from appetizers, salads, soups, noodles, curries, and some of their specialty dishes. Food 5/5 The "Pad Thai" was just phenomenal, just absolute fire! As authentic as the Pad Thai I had in Thailand! Rice noodles were freshly made not from dried frozen stuff you typically get, I mean this dish tasted fresh made to order, not reheated. It had a slight perfect sweetness to it with a hint of pepper heat, you could taste the sweat onions the green onions, the crispy bean sprouts with hints of basil, it was seasoned to perfection, I opted for the chicken Pad Thai, The chicken was very generously mixed into the rice noodles good thick cut pieces, perfectly tender and seasoned chicken. Just delicious, it was a decent size portion for one person but it was so good I probably would have fished two portions of it. It had a wonderful balance of flavour and textures from some of the crispy veggies and bean sprouts to the soft perfect rice noodles. Great dish! Service 5/5 The food was made fast, the service was very friendly and the price was within reason for this quality of food. Presentation was also very nice. Guys and gals if you're in the area and you want the best Thai food Brampton has to offer this is one of the places you must stop in to try.

We arrived shortly after noon and the place was pretty full, but we managed to snag a table near the back. Neither of us was especially hungry, so we opted to share a couple of dishes. We started with one of their specials, the Shrimp Donuts. My dining companion assumed they'd be actual donuts with shrimp flavors, but this is definitely not that. It's essentially shrimp pieces shaped into a deep-fried donut. And it's good, real good. It arrived to the table piping hot, and I took a big old bite right away. The flavors are right on point, and the whole thing is enhanced by the accompanying sweet sauce. It's a terrific appetizer (although awfully expensive at $12 for four of them). For our main, we went with the Khao Soi ("Soft and crispy egg noodles, golden curry, coconut milk, spring onion, red onion, crispy shallot, lime, pickled veg") and we got that Spicy. It's a really solid version of this iconic dish. It's maybe not up there with the best adaptations I've had, but it's quite good. The broth is super flavorful and rich, while the other components are right on point. The spice level was perfect, too. The service was top notch, as well, so I have no doubt we'll be returning to Thai Barn Na at some point.

The satay chicken is a pass, pad thai is kind of sweet, and the khao soi is just fine. I will say these are on the slightly cheaper side compared to spots in Toronto (khao soi was ~$20?) Verdict: I think this place is alright for Mississauga, but being on Dundas Street, you're close to Toronto and you might as well go to a better Thai spot downtown haha.
