Came here on a Saturday for dinner and it was the most packed among all the restaurants in the Courtney Park plaza. We ended up having to wait awhile to be seated, so definitely make a reservation ahead of time! It seems like their curry is very popular but I ended up going for the pad see ew. The portions were decently big and they felt bad we had to wait awhile to get seated, so they made sure to get our food out pretty quickly. Everyone I was with seem to really enjoy their dish, while I found mine to be just okay - really like most other pad see ews I've had. However, I do appreciate the dish not being super oily. I probably won't be back soon, just because I'm not one to crave thai food too often and if I do, I'm usually just satisfied with a quick visit to Thai Express, but would maybe come back to celebrate a friend's birthday here.

    Platter is tasty.

We were in transit and passed by the area and was looking for a place for dinner and saw this on Yelp. This place is really great value, food is good and price is reasonable. Ambient is ok. The chairs are a bit old. Service is fine but our orders took a long time to come (and we were starving). Other than the long wait time and old chairs, food is great and everything else is fine.

I had heard great things about this restaurant, so I decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed. We ordered the coconut shrimp, General Tso's chicken, and Bangkok Pad Thai (which was very, very spicy), along with a mango milkshake and ginger honey tea. Everything was really good. When I mentioned to the server that the Bangkok Pad Thai was too spicy, he offered to make it less spicy, but we declined. I definitely plan to visit again as there were no issues and the atmosphere was great.

Delicious - I just came back from Thailand and this is the closest you will find to real authentic flavours. The service was amazing, we were greeted by first name and the servers were attentive and quick. We were here for my parents' anniversary and they loved it. Seems to be newly reno'd so the interior was bright and clean. Make a reso before coming! We ordered the Twin Fish sample appetizer (not sure the official name) which included summer rolls, spring rolls, beef and chicken satay, calamari, and shrimp chips. All sooo good, the best vegetarian spring rolls I've ever tasted. Calamari was fried perfectly and I loved that we got a lot of its meat. Our main dishes were the red snapper with basil sauce, pineapple fried rice, and curry pad thai. I would've liked more pineapple flavour to come out of the rice, but it was tasty regardless. The fish was good too, my mom's friend recommended that dish so she had high expectations. I'd recommend TwinFish to those who want real Thai food and don't need the fancy aesthetic. Lots of families in the restaurant, very diverse crowd which shows how good the food is.

Ambiance: Bright and spaced out tables which provide privacy. They have a sanitizing stating when you enter. The place is light up brightly. They do have an outdoor patio as well. Food: The portion size in comparison to other places was noted. The serving size is considerably bigger. Panang Curry - Chicken. This is always my go to dish at any Thai restaurant. At this restaurant, I would have to say it was my least favorite in comparison to other places. It was flavorful but I have certainly had better. Chicken Cashew Nut: Great, rich with flavor, appropriate amount of cashews Thai Chili Chicken - flavorful, perfect amount of chili sauce. Tiger shrimp- This definitely had a kick to it. The tamarind sauce adds a different flavor and sets it apart from everything else on the table Service: Service was fast and efficient. Will definitely be back to try other dishes.

Small cosy restaurant with bursting flavorful dishes. The food left me stuffed and satisfied.

Omg, I can't believe I've never had Twin Fish Thai until now! It was so delicious that I immediately ordered for a second time (both times for takeout) less than a week later. The first time, my boyfriend and I got the shrimp paste fried rice, golden chicken curry with steamed rice, basil lamb, and finishing off with a mango sticky rice for dessert. The shrimp paste fried rice was the best, without a doubt! I probably had 80% of that (poor boyfriend...). It had 3 massive prawns, lots of stir fried squid, mussels, scallops, and a bit of imitation crab. I loved the "wok hei" - it had such a great char and flavour! The golden chicken curry was also good; it had a nice coconut flavour and a generous amount of chicken breasts. The basil lamb was quite disappointing - I didn't like that it was sweet, but there was also a mystery meat that didn't seem like lamb. It was so tenderized and marinated that it could've been mistaken for beef; you have to chew quite a bit before the gameyness comes out. By the time dessert came around, I was so full that I could only stomach a few bites. The forbidden purple rice had a great nutty flavour and chewy texture, and the sweet salty coconut cream was a great contrast to the super sweet and ripe mango. The second time, I reordered the shrimp paste fried rice, but this time switched it up with a chicken emerald curry with coconut rice (my favourite!) and the South Thai lamb curry. The shrimp paste fried rice was BOMB and didn't disappoint, as expected. The emerald curry was also good; I loved the coconut rice! It had a subtle coconut sweetness and the rice wasn't dry, the perfect amount of fluff and moist. The South Thai lamb curry was not that good, unfortunately. The lamb was yummy, but the curry was super sweet and sticky. Too sweet, in fact. Would not get the next time - though I like coconut curries, I found the tamarind and palm sugar to be a bit too much. I cannot wait to come again and have the shrimp paste fried rice! I wonder if I could make it myself... it's so addicting!

Did not enjoy the food as mostly it was very sweet but still 5 stars for extremely friendly service . They changed the dish with not much hassle , showing a higher customer bent . May be we should order recommendation from yelp or ask server to suggest with spice / sweet levels . Will go again to xplore !

Went there reading the reviews for this place Must say I was really disappointed Ordered Tom Kha coconut soup which was too too sweet couldn't deal with such a sweet soup Then ordered Penang curry was not good again really very very sweet couldn't swallow it with the peanut taste and over sweetness was something I couldn't deal with so Requested the server to change the Penang curry for a Thai red curry as this was too sweet The service here is excellent the service staff goes out of their way to help they were very helpful with us too and changed to beef Thai red curry The red curry was average no lemongrass or galanga in the soup or food The Thai flavours were missing and the food was too too sweet for my liking Couldn't deal with this place!!

Chic Thai restaurant with clean decor and food to match. Service: The restaurant was very accommodating, especially as we were a large group and didn't make a reservation for lunch. The waiters got our orders correct without writing them down, but had to ask for the bill several times (may be a little forgetful). Food: The pad thai was well cooked, with the noodles having a springy texture and the peanuts and chili pepper flakes on the side being a nice touch as we can mix in however much we like. I was a little disappointed in the tiger prawns, as there were very few in my plate and they were fairly small, but the dish still tasted good. Overall: Tasty Thai dishes with prices to match, but the quality of the ingredients didn't seem to fit the bill.

Had lunch today with 4 other co-workers. We all had something different and 1 order was incorrect. Food was tasty, quick and hot. Also pricing was a little high for the portions you receive and servers were not very friendly at all.....otherwise I would have rated it a 5 out of 5.

The patio is currently open and I decided to try out this restaurant even though I'm not a fan of Thai food. Since the pandemic is going on, they have moved seating to the outside. The staff was very friendly and attentive. To start, we got the coconut shrimp which was surprisingly big. The sauce that came with it was something like a sweet and sour sauce. Very tasty! For my main, I decided to go with the mango chicken. The mango that comes with it is an apple mango I think. It was very ripe and the sauce was tangy, savoury and a little spicy. It came with a lot of mixed vegetables. The portions are pretty big and I think it's worth the price. My friends got the lamb curry and mixed vegetables. They both looked good, but I think I'll still be sticking with the mango chicken.

Spicy beef coconut curry.... spicy hot!!!

Over the last few years, we have been there few times. Food quality and service is still as good, consistent. Many interesting items to try! Dishes are presented in a very appetizing way. The place is really really busy and packed! But nevertheless, the attendants/servers always provide excellent service.

We arrived shortly after noon and the place was pretty full, but we managed to snag a table near the back. Neither of us was especially hungry, so we opted to share a couple of dishes. We started with one of their specials, the Shrimp Donuts. My dining companion assumed they'd be actual donuts with shrimp flavors, but this is definitely not that. It's essentially shrimp pieces shaped into a deep-fried donut. And it's good, real good. It arrived to the table piping hot, and I took a big old bite right away. The flavors are right on point, and the whole thing is enhanced by the accompanying sweet sauce. It's a terrific appetizer (although awfully expensive at $12 for four of them). For our main, we went with the Khao Soi ("Soft and crispy egg noodles, golden curry, coconut milk, spring onion, red onion, crispy shallot, lime, pickled veg") and we got that Spicy. It's a really solid version of this iconic dish. It's maybe not up there with the best adaptations I've had, but it's quite good. The broth is super flavorful and rich, while the other components are right on point. The spice level was perfect, too. The service was top notch, as well, so I have no doubt we'll be returning to Thai Barn Na at some point.

This was on a Friday night and the patio was almost full. We ended up sitting on the patio, beside the in and out door. To drink I ordered the pineapple coconut martini and I was really surprised that it didn't taste strong but it was strong or maybe I felt it more because I hadn't eaten too much before that. It tasted ok but I wouldn't order it again. We ordered the Bangkok style Pad Thai with shrimp and the pineapple fried rice With chicken. We waited over 45 minutes for our food. People that arrived after us, that's two parties one party of two and another party of three to four both got their food before we did Then I saw the pineapple Fried rice come out but then they didn't bring it to our table, they brought it to the table of four and when the server was asking them about it I saw the guest gesturing to take it and then I saw the manager come out quickly and take it back from them and guess what that was actually ours. When I told the manager he just said wait a minute wait a minute and he went back but minutes went by after that and I food still didn't come out. When the manager came out the second time I said we didn't get our food yet and we've been waiting a long time and then he brought out both dishes the pineapple fried rice which by now was cold and the Bangkok style Punta which was hot. The food tasted great. The food quality is excellent. The service kind of sucked because there's not that many of us out there and they really should have noticed that we haven't got our food. We were seated just beside the door so it's not really like we're invisible because they had to pass us each time they went in and out. I'm really disappointed in the service and that the manager knowing gave us cold food that was supposed to be served hot. We probably should have sent the pineapple fried rice back. Since he knew he was giving us food that was cold by now, I suspect they wouldn't have fixed it. I'll never know. I'm really disappointed to have this experience. I took one star off because our food took so long to come out and other tables who came after us for served before us. I took another star off was because our food got served to another table initially and that table even accepted it. And the last star I took off because when I told the manager I think it was ours and it was, he didn't listen and said one minute but it did still didn't come out after that. I had to ask again and then he brought out the same dish that was served to another table and I know that's true because it was cold. The manager knew this and still served it to us. Shame on you.
