The service isn't always the most attentive, but the food makes up for it. The lunch specials are a solid deal, and the fish cakes, served with their homemade sauce and fresh cucumber, are especially worth trying. Panang curry is crave-able. Not on lunch menu. Place is always clean. A bit pricier than some. Meal comes with spring roll.

Was always good, however last few times food was not as good as previous visits. Curry was like eating a bowl of milk with a few shrimp and onions. Un eatable. Fried rice was dry. Cook came out of kitchen and was scratching his head with stuff flying off his head. Gross. read more

While on our way to the airport we decided to stop here for a quick lunch before boarding. Walked in was greeted by a lady, the atmosphere was calm, quiet, clean. She then told us sit anywhere, came to our table right away, she ask what would we like to drink while we decided on what to eat. After placing our orders, within 10min our food was ready, the portions are huge!! I never had padThai so didn't know what to expect, after the first bite............ OMGGGGGGGGG it was spicy, tasty the flavors was so delicious! The papaya salad was also a first time for me, YUM....... My husband ordered the fried rice, with shrimp....... Food was good, but receptionist said something passive agressive at the counter in Thai not realizing one of us was Thai.

First time after driving bye and always saying I need to try this spot. Customer service was great even though they were busy. Just stopped for apps for take out. Noticed the restaurant seemed very clean. Ordered the beef jerky and fried ribs apps. Very flavourful ribs just would have liked more jerky for my order. I'll be back to try a few more dishes. I'm giving 4 stars because I have no complaints and it's my assumption their main dishes are good as well.. we will see on my next visit read more

Order: combo pad see eww (chicken and shrimp), chicken pad Thai no peanuts, sweet rice mango. I place a phone order and was told a 30 minute wait time. Arrived onsite after 30 minutes and my order wasn't ready. I walked back to my car allowing them an extra 10 minutes to complete my order or I was gunna drive off. I'm a huge stickler on time and when things are done within the time frame they are promised loses a lot of points with me. However; I do have to acknowledge that the hostess did call me on my cell as soon as the order was ready. The portion size of the entrees was generous. Presentation was okay. Taste mediocre. Pad Thai was too vinegary tasting to my liking. Other than that the food was okay. Nothing extraordinary. I do have to comment that I ordered no peanuts but noticed peanuts were on my sticky rice mango. I don't have a peanut allergy but it would have been courteous of them to notice my request and not include peanuts on the rice (which I don't remember being listed on the menu). read more

This is my favorite restaurant to get pad Thai because it's not overly sweet and it has a little tofu in it and it has a nice balance of savory sweet Recently tried the right now I was very happy with the flavor I think it has fermented soy beans, natto but I did not ask so I'm not certain of that was very yummy in the chart noodles were very chewy Also I love Pad prek - good flavor , spicy And I will say that the noodle dish with jalapeños in it had way too many jalapeños for my husband. The workers there will ignore your table for drink refills. We were a party of three that changed our minds on take-outs but decided to eat in the restaurant instead. There were 4 other tables that were occupied with single or couple diners. We sat down and ate our food but as our drinks were emptied, the waitress ignored our table but proceeded to refill the other tables. We continued to eat and notice the waitress made her rounds but never came to our table but instead refilled the other tables again. Evidently, she was upset that we decided to eat in, and they wasted a few to-go containers. Did not leave a tip on order of $80 plus. What a friendly, welcome (and delicious) surprise awaited us in our search for big flavor Thai dishes. We've been trying out a variety of Thai-based and Thai-inspired dishes since leaving several California, but simply haven't found the right mix for us. Well, search no more...this is a gem of a Thai treasure chest. We entered a bustling, place, staff scurrying from table to table to to kitchen and to take out patrons repeatedly. But even in their haste, the busy wait staff greeted in a smily and friendly manner. And while this is a fairly fast-paced restaurant, or at least gives the appearance of that, the staff repeatedly checked in on us after seating us quickly. And, there was no rush for us to finish and get out...we ere encouraged to eat at our leisure. One of the most welcome surprises for us was the super-fast delivery of food for our two grandkids. Their food was out in a virtual flash! We too, were treated with a complementary, crispy fried vegetarian egg roll with simple sweet dipping sauce. Next Chicken Satay - moist and tender with a delectable and slightly spicy peanut dipping sauce. More often than not, this dish is served dry and with distinctive grill marks. But these skewers were much more moist and sans-marks. Our entrees came shortly thereafter. The four adults in our group each ordered a different menu item but sampled and shared all of them, along with Pineapple-Fried Rice (sweet and spicy delight) to share. We had Chicken Pad Thai (solidly flavorful and full of heat-as ordered) - yet nothing exceptional. There was Yellow Curry - creamy with coconut milk and traditional spices (mild), and Flavor of Thai Town with chicken, a mix of hodpoge of traditional veggies, medium spice - as ordered - with no long-lasting heat. Portions, as you can see by everyone's photos, are generous and there were many take-home boxes leaving with all patrons. Two notes to share: as mentioned above, portions are generous and that goes for the sauces accompanying the iced as well. In fact, they might be a bit over-sauced for some, making for sloppy eating. Rice normally would help solve that issue...but tonight, they ran out an hour before closing. What? somebody forgot to make more rice? The staff apologized profusely and offered rice noodles as a substitute. But definitely one star fell from this review. read more

Decided to try Thai Town as I was craving some Thai fried rice. I opted to try the red curry instead and boy was that a great decision! The curry had the right balance of flavors . It had sweet, heat, and basil aromatics. I felt that there could have been more chicken as the plate was mostly green beans. However, I figured it's probably healthier anyways. I was given a spring roll and egg drop soup as it was lunch time. The spring roll was perfection and the egg drop soup was yumm. The staff were very friendly and had beautiful smiling faces. My partner and I walked in to a wonderfully warm and friendly environment, complete with delicious smells, and was greeted almost immediately by a server after seating ourselves. Prompt service and very welcoming, starting with a delicious eggroll & sweet sauce. My partner had the chicken pad Thai while I had the beef Punang Curry--we had to physically make ourselves stop eating them both. First off, the menu prices shown in the photos are out of date. I ordered a larb salad(ground meat with salad) and it was $13, not $10. I saw the positive reviews and that's why I chose this place. When I got my salad home I was very disappointed to find a small ziplock of ground meat and onion mixture and small wedge of a chopped cabbage. It was like they didn't even finish making the dish. Found a hole in the wall place. We own a condo in Ft Walton and was in town to do some minor remodeling. We were in the mood for spicy Thai food and this place hit the spot. Ordered papaya salad and basil beef with max level spicy. Both were excellent flavors and spicy as we liked. Their crab fried rice is ok but not the best I've had. I don't know if food is good...I heard it was. Went in on a Wednesday at 6:15 with my wife. They told us to seat ourselves and we did, on the end of three tables pushed together. There are four other customers in the place and we have to move to smaller table on a Wednesday at 6:15. We walked out before the mad dash to Thai Town at, evidently, 6:30! The are plenty of great locally owned places to eat...try Taco Town just 3 miles away...we both got stuffed for $20! read more

Delicious Thai food with very fresh vegetables. They grow their own peppers and a few other ingredients outside the restaurant. I ordered the "Flavor of Thai Town" entree and it came out within 8 minutes. Steamy hot and tasty. I asked the lady to make it as hot as possible, and it did come out fairly spicy, but not enough for me to break a sweat, so that was disappointing; however, I do eat extremely spicy stuff so I can't hold it against them. Dinner came with a spring roll, which she brought to me prior to my meal, so that was a plus as I wasn't expecting it. Definitely recommend this place if you want so good Thai food. read more

My favorite restaurant for Thai food. I've eaten at a bunch of other restaurants, but none of them come up to the quality and flavor of Thai Town. Portion sizes are very generous and the flavors always spot on (as they say).
