This place is absolutely amazing in every aspect. I always visit here when I'm in town. The portion sizes are really big and generous. They take covid regulations very serious and are always cleaning and disinfecting the tables and silverware! Staff always had their mask on. I highly recommend this place if you enjoy thai food! Dumplings and noddles are the best things on the menu in my opinion! Also Kimmy, one of the staff members, was very sweet and was always checking on us if we needed anything! So the Puerto Rican place around the corner was close due it being Thanksgiving weekend. Pad Thai was located in the same strip mall. The service was very nice. I was schooled that "chili oil" was Chinese not Thai. He did bring over the relish tray but now I don't know what to call it when in a Thai joint. I started with the spring rolls. Good. The peanut sauce was very good --could have used some siracha but I was afraid to ask -- see above. I also had the pad thai -- when is Rome right?!?!? It was a huge portion and I ate it all. Good food Horrible service. We went with some friends got seated fairly quick. Once the e waitress finally came by we put in our order and waited and waited for about 45 minutes until finally our order showed up. The food was good. The host came by and ask how everything was and apologized for the wait as they were short staffed. 2 months later we go back for another try. The restaurant was about a quarter full so we thought this will be good. So we stood at the front waiting to be seated for about 20 minute no one ever came to seat us. Compared to Thai Hut and Racetrack Cafe, which I eat at frequently, I have concluded Pad Thai is the superior of the three. The dishes are consistently better prepared and the serving sizes more generous. I ordered Basil Fried Rice, Pad Thai and Pepper Steak and all three dishes were delicious. Ate here instead of Siam Garden (see previous review). Since the restaurant was called Pad Thai, that is what I ordered. Got it medium spicy with pork. I also ordered an appetizer of pork dumplings. I like pork. Fo rmy beverage I went with Thai tea. The tea came out first along with a tall glass of water. The tea was strong but balanced out well by the milk. Next the dumplings arrived. I doubt these were freshly made because they came out rather soon and the pork filling was rubbery; like it had been frozen. There were four to the order. The pad thai came out and was tasty. The noodles were firm yet chewy and the spice level was ok for medium. Not much else for this restaurant. There are many more Thai places to try in Fort Walton so I will leave it at that. read more

There certainly isn't a shortage of Thai food in this area so it could be hard to pick. I've tried about 8 restaurants from highway 98 in Ft Walton to Niceville and this is by far my favorite. The flavors are on point and they give you amazing portions! I have Celiac Disease too and so far the pad thai, Curry's, and chicken larb don't cause me any symptoms.
