I've not ever had Thai food before so, I was excited to try out a new cuisine. I'm not entirely sure that I really scratched the surface of Thai food with my one meal but, for anyone looking a great, authentic meal, this looks like it may be the place! The first thing I noticed was the sign on the outside that said they were soon going to be closed for 3 weeks for a family vacation. That excited me, knowing now that I was walking into a family owned business. What you walk into is a small, but cozy, dining area - the sign on the wall says they can fit 44 people in there. We had a table reserved and thusly, did not have to wait. Throughout the dinner, I did notice customers waiting for both a table and for takeout and I'll say, it's worth the wait! We were served by a sweet lady, of whose name I cannot remember. She was very attentive to our group of 8 guests. We ordered 3 different appetizers: Veggie Spring Rolls, Steamed Dumplings and the Money Bags. I tried the Spring Rolls and Money Bags and though I wasn't the biggest fan, everyone else at the table enjoyed them (I likely would have enjoyed the Chicken Spring Rolls more!). Me not being the biggest fan reflects more on my pickiness than the quality of them as, like mentioned, everyone else really enjoyed them all. For my entree, I ordered from "Grandpa's Favorite Chicken" from the "Chef Special" category. My reasoning behind this order, of which no one else at my table considered was as follows: 1, it's chicken with a sweet and sour sauce! 2, it's on the "Chef Special" category which though it didn't have a description, I assumed meant that it's something the Chefs enjoy making. 3, it was starred on the menu which means that they recommend it - it was a great recommendation. My order came out in approx. 10-15 minutes with a side of white rice that I added on. The picture I have is after everyone at the table picked off a piece of chicken because of how delicious it looked. The portions were great, enough for two people that aren't starving. There was plenty of sauce - of which was very flavorful. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the rice did a great job at soaking up some of the extra sauce that was in the bottom of the plate. Overall, this meal was delicious! I would highly recommend to both locals who can go and try multiple different meals there and anyone who is just stopping through town. First time here. We're vegan and the waiter was great at helping us figure out what to order. It was a yummy feast for my birthday! Money bags appetizer. Crispy/salty/slightly sweet, mild curry flavored potato filling, not spicy but the sauce that came with them was mildly spicy. Reminded me of Indian Samosas, but with a Thai twist. Papaya Salad was excellent--crunchy veggies and peanuts, zippy limes, and nice balance of flavors. Not spicy at all. We ended up alternating bites of this along with our spicy Pad Thai to help pace it. Pad Thai. We ordered it with tofu, no eggs since we're vegan. Such a delicious dish. I've had it at other restaurants and sometimes thought it was too oily, but this one was fresh and just perfect. It had so much flavor and was the star of our meal. We got spice level #3, which was a perfect challenge for my spice loving hubby. I should have gotten 1 or 2, but was able to eat it slowly along with bites of other things and still enjoyed it. Pad Woon Sen was glass noodles, I believe mung bean starch noodles. Again no eggs, with tofu. We ordered this one with no spice for our kids. I highly recommended this thai place!! Everything tasted so good! My favorite are the fried tofu with sweet and sour dipping sauce, beef drunken noodles, papaya salad lao style and the Basil seafood fried rice and of course their sticky mango for dessert!! I also got their chicken Larb which was OK and the beef salad was just a little bland, maybe need more flavor?! The staff was very nice and the food portion was huge and super delicious!! Visited on 8/29/2022 and placed a to go order. Ordered: Thai Iced Tea Pad Woon Sen Tom Kha Gai Mango Sticky Rice The hostess/server that worked with me was great. She was very friendly and attentive. When she asked for what spice level I wanted for the noodles and soup, I let her know to make it the spiciest level that they could. On the slip for the order that was taped to the bag, it noted "Thai Spicy" for both items. Sadly, when I got home and opened the order, there were a few issues. Pad Woon Sen - This dish is typically a stir fry type dish with not much liquid. However, the one I received on this visit had about 3/4 cup of liquid on the bottom of the container which also made the noodle softer and more breakable. There was no spicy-ness at all to the dish and the dish also lacked salt. There was also not a good ratio of noodles to other ingredients. It was maybe a 30% noodles to 70% ingredients ratio. Tom Kha Gai - There was a slight spice to the soup but considering the ask was Thai Spicy, it definitely fell short. Also, while there was plenty of chicken, there was only 1 mushroom in the entire container of soup. The soup was also way too thick. It gave me the impression that it was soup made earlier in the day and had simmered all day to become as thick as it was. Mango Sticky Rice - There was a decent amount of mango for the dish but the mangos were a tad under ripe. My personal preference is the small yellow Philippine mangos but standard mangos were used in this instance. There could have been more coconut cream on the dish as you could not see very much of it. The sticky rice was also a tad overcooked. The Thai tea was actually very good and was the star of my order. Based on my personal experience with this order, I would not return. read more

Came here at about 5pm and had dinner with a friend. The service was great and the food was amazing, too. We ordered the Money Bags appetizer. Highly recommend 5/5. They're like potato and curry stuffed and fried bites. Super flavorful and very good. I got the Thai tea and it was also really flavorful. It was a little too sweet and strong for me, but overall good. 4/5 I ordered the yellow curry with chicken and my friend ordered the basil fried rice. Both were excellent. I got the mild spice and wish I would have gone to the 2nd level of spice. I believe there are 5 levels of spiciness so I probably was only at a 1. The curry was perfectly cooked and good ratio of veggies to meat and the curry was really good. They also have Mango Sticky Rice, which I got to go. I was so full I couldn't eat it there. Best Thai food in Springfield!! We've been a longtime fan of Everyday Thai, which is a 9/10 restaurant, but Thailand Station is 10/10 amazing! First dish was drunken noodle - best I've ever had. The sauce was sweet and savory, fresh thai basil, and the noodles had that proper sear on them for caramelized goodness. We also had the Panang curry - level 1 spice goes a long way in liquid curry, and it was just right for us. The sauce was so creamy and flavorful and the veggie selection in the curry was nice, fresh green beans, peas, broccoli, and carrots. Rice was fluffy and sticky too. The only thing I wish is for the Thai tea to be darker and more concentrated and sweeter (mostly personal preference!). Lunch prices are more than reasonable - only 9$ each for the meals we got!!! Ordered mango curry chicken, medium spiced, big chunks of mango, tender chicken and veggies still had a nice crunch, and it was delicious, perfect blend of hot but not make your nose run hot. For appetizers we started off with an order of Eggrolls, Moo Ping Skewers and crab Rangoons. The ragoons are a bit smaller but the flavor was there. Our favorite app was probably the skewers. Unfortunately our Eggrolls came out cold but the kitchen nicely made us new ones. Entrees and papaya salad were delicious and paired nicely with their Thai ice tea. After dinner we ordered dessert. 1 out of 2 of our mango sticky rice had a piece of hair in it but overall dinner was excellent. Excellent service. My wife & I were looking for a new Thai restaurant to sample so we cruised by TS on a recommendation of a friend. As we began to park, we noticed the spartan environment and the lack of patrons. We wanted a little nicer place to hang out and drove on by. Maybe I was right at the moment, but thank goodness I followed up later with a takeout order because TS has some of the best Thai food in town! I'm a Pad Thai addict rarely sampling other dishes. Theirs is in the top 3 in town, plus I could order it at any of 4 stages of spiciness. My sister loves the #4 spice level. I love the heat but can only enjoy a #3. My wife hates heat but loves their Pad Thai which is unusual for her. TS makes absolutely the best Crab Rangoon in town. I love their wonton wrap which is very light & delicate, focusing on the innards. Others may come close, but none can top it. I absolutely detest thick, hard-fried, too crunchy Rangoon - this Rangoon is heavenly. Their orangey sauce is fine as well. My wife is now addicted to these too...as well as their fried pot stickers. The only thing that needs work is their peanut sauce for their satay - too runny and lacking the heavy peanut consistency & flavor. Don't judge this book by it's cover. If you want great Thai food, this is a good place for takeout or...if you really don't care about the ambiance. read more
