Thailand Station is currently the best Thai place in Springfield. Having eaten over 200 times at Rama, Thai Xpress and Everyday Thai I have a pretty good idea as to the state of Thai food in our humble town. So far everything we have tried at Thailand Station is the best version of that dish. Pad Thai, pad see yew, chili basil, drunken noodle, red and green curry and they have real sticky rice! Don't let the unassuming decor, throw you off the beaten path. My wife & I were looking for a new Thai restaurant to sample so we cruised by TS on a recommendation of a friend. As we began to park, we noticed the spartan environment and the lack of patrons. We wanted a little nicer place to hang out and drove on by. Maybe I was right at the moment, but thank goodness I followed up later with a takeout order because TS has some of the best Thai food in town! I'm a Pad Thai addict rarely sampling other dishes. Theirs is in the top 3 in town, plus I could order it at any of 4 stages of spiciness. My sister loves the #4 spice level. I love the heat but can only enjoy a #3. My wife hates heat but loves their Pad Thai which is unusual for her. TS makes absolutely the best Crab Rangoon in town. I love their wonton wrap which is very light & delicate, focusing on the innards. Others may come close, but none can top it. I absolutely detest thick, hard-fried, too crunchy Rangoon - this Rangoon is heavenly. Their orangey sauce is fine as well. My wife is now addicted to these too...as well as their fried pot stickers. The only thing that needs work is their peanut sauce for their satay - too runny and lacking the heavy peanut consistency & flavor. Don't judge this book by it's cover. If you want great Thai food, this is a good place for takeout or...if you really don't care about the ambiance. read more

Found this gem on Yelp. Just visiting Springfield, ordered takeout and the food was amazing! Phad Thai Chicken, Phad Basil beef and mango with sticky rice. All were wonderful and certainly rank as some of the best Thai ever! If we lived in Springfield we would be weekly customers! Highly recommend! read more

This place is SO GOOD... that I almost didn't want to give it a review! I know this place is going to quickly become a favourite in Springfield and it's going to get hard to get a table. I had the crispy spring rolls and the crispy duck (in sweet chilli sauce). They were both excellent, but the duck was by far the best I have found in town! Seriously impressed. The pricing was also really reasonable!! They did only have one server and it was pretty busy. But she is sweet and did a really great job. The food came out in good time also. Just be aware that this place is smaller and it might be easy to get a seat when you stop in. read more

We were excited to have a Thai restaurant so close to our home. We were even more excited after we had their food! Excellent! My husband always gets chicken pad Thai. He says it's the best pad Thai in town. He typically has to add spices to pad Thai from other restaurants. He says it is the perfect blend of flavor and spice. I've had the Kaow Soi and the crispy duck. The Kaow Soi was great; I would definitely order it again when I'm in the mood for curry and noodles. But the crispy duck was amazing! Even getting it to-go in a closed container, the duck was so crispy! I had the sweet chili sauce, which was great, but look forward to trying the basil sauce next. read more

The food was OK, I guess. I ordered crispy spring rolls; Tom Yum Gai soup; and chicken panang. The spring rolls and soup came at the same time. A minute later, the panang was served. I have worked in the food industry and we would give the customer time to eat their appetizer and then bring the entree. If I wanted to be served that way, I would have ordered it to go. The waitress was not the greatest. She didn't even ask if I wanted something to drink. I ordered the panang at 2 stars heat and it was pretty bland. I thought it at least needed some salt but there was no salt on the table and my waitress was not around to ask. I liked that they have just a normal size bowl of soup. If you want soup at Everyday Thai, it's an entree. I have almost my entire entree and some soup for leftovers and I have salt available:) read more

Seriously, this place is great! One of the best restaurants I've been to in a long time. Y'all need to run to this place and order everything on the menu! The service was fantastic, everyone was super friendly, every dish we ordered had perfectly balanced flavor and the mango sticky rice was the icing on the cake. Love the flavors of Thailand Station! It's a toss up of whether I love the flavors or the owners more. Every experience we've had at Thailand Station or via takeout has been delicious and enjoyable. Our favorite dishes are Summer Rolls, Drunken Noodle with Chicken or Shrimp, Pad Thai with Chicken, Red Curry with Chicken, Basil Fried Rice with Chicken, Pineapple Fried Rice with Chicken or Shrimp. For the kids we order the Lo Mien with Chicken, or the Chicken and fries (sub with white rice). Our family gets food from here once a week, and always say how delicious the dishes are. We do family style so we can get a variety of dishes in one meal. Thank you Thailand Station for being our FAVORITE Thai food offering in Springfield. read more

Fantastic food, we eat here every week or two. Steamed dumplings and Panang curry is my favorite but everything we've had is delicious.
