Been here a couple times. Great service and really good food. Finally this town has a Chinese place worth going to.

Last night was our first time back since they relocated to VIB from their old food truck location…read more I ordered the drunken noodles with grilled tofu, which I don't think I'd tried before. Wow, best meal I've had out in a while. The lowest heat option had just a little burn but not lingering, sauce was flavorful and umami without being too salty or overpowering the other flavors, noodles well cooked (al dente), tofu was firm with a nice chargrilled flavor (you could tell it was actually grilled), and there were some nice fresh additions like broccoli florets, shredded carrots, cilantro (and maybe mint?), plus lime slices. The single portion was huge, enough for two meals easily, and a steal at less than 10 bucks. My husband got a (huge!) burrito with chicken, mojo sauce, and fresh guacamole and enjoyed his as well. They have local beers and kombucha on tap, and some nice looking homemade desserts. Atmosphere was pleasant, modern hotel lobby, quiet, with nice large windows. The lady at the counter was very friendly and smiling the whole time she interacted with us. Food came out fast but it was clear they cooked it to order. Eating my leftover noodles for lunch and they're still on point next day and after being nuked XD All around great experience. We'll be back!

We love Asian fusion, so we were excited to try this. I ordered the Drunken Noodles with chicken…read moreand my husband ordered the Thai Basil chicken, heat level 4. They must have made mine with the heat, because it was so spicy that my eyes and nose ran. They just threw some shredded chicken on top that was seasoned to be taco meat... not kidding, it tasted like chili powder, cumin and crushed red pepper. So I had spicy chicken taco meat on top of super hot Asian-flavored noodles. (The flavor of the noodles was great, without the spice and taco seasoning, hence the second star). The Thai basil chicken was bland, flavorless, and dry. Felt like the chicken had been fried awhile go, then reheated. There was about one basil leaf shredded on top. I had to give my spicy taco chicken to my husband who at it with the plain rice, while I ate his "basil" chicken with my noodles. The presentation was beautiful, though (pic taken after I stirred up the noodles). Both plates looked amazing, but the flavors didn't live up to their looks. Needless to say we won't be returning.

I ordered something off the menu that was called "Dry chicken" from the stir fry section. It was…read morenot literally dry, as it came soaked in a very flavorful sauce or gravy. There were large broccoli florets, onions, peppers, etc. It felt very authentic, with uncommon spices including what looked like star anise, thick-sliced ginger root, possibly a bay leaf, and something else I couldn't name, so you do have to be mindful about what you're eating. But I feel that added to the experience. I couldn't name the cut of chicken, but it was bone-in (unrecognizable of which bone) but it was very flavorful. My meal also came with a large bowl of steamed rice, which I poured the excess sauce into after i finished the rest. I had some of their pork and celery dumplings as well, dipped in something like soy sauce, and some chili crisp. I've ordered a few times, and they always serve generous portions, meaning I usually get two or more meals out of one order. That alone does a lot to lower the perceived cost of the meal. It's also a great location, near local hang outs like 5C games and 1985 Arcade.
