I always like trying Thai places and I wanted to like this one....but I couldn't do it. Spring rolls: Very good and traditionally what you'd find. Thai salad: This was good. Now for the rest: Chicken and rice soup. Had an odd wallpaper paste smell. Then, it was bland and bland could be. Kung Pao beef: Sauce was edible, but was very tart versus spicy at all. I ordered 4 stars out of 10. Nothing was spicy let alone having good heat come thru. Thai Fried Rice: The rice flavor was bland; very bland. And then there was a flavor/spice, that came thru at the end...that I don't know what that was. But out of umpteen many Thai fried rices I've had...never had one like this. Not a good initial sign when there was NOBODY else in the restaurant on a Saturday night around 7pm. Building was in disrepair -- blinds falling off windows, door handle to men's bathroom broken. I got Basil Fried Rice w/ Chicken, which is my go-to Thai dish. It didn't taste terrible, but I wouldn't go back for it. To make matters worse, by the time we got home to Kansas City about 3 hours later, I was hit with severe "gastrointestinal distress", which I attribute to the food I ate here. read more

Great food. Nothing out of the ordinary but it was very tasty, service was excellent. The owner, assumption on my part, asked how we liked the food and wondered if there was anything more we needed. That's always a nice touch and very welcomed. We were traveling through and spotted the place. Lucky find! Highly recommend it. Wow, what a surprise finding this place was, and can I say it is worth giving it a chance? This was what my husband surprised me with for our anniversary lunch. It's in the Price Cutter strip mall on Battlefield and I usually shy away from strip mall restaurants due to way too many people but to my surprise it was slow probably because of the time of day I am so thankful my husband said "Let's try it". There were two other families in the restaurant, we were greeted as soon as we walked in by the sweetest young lady she told us her name was Mary, and she would be our waitress if we had any questions or concerns please ask she would take care of it right away. We placed our order and I got hot tea it arrived in a cast iron teapot and stayed hot the whole meal I was overjoyed by that, and my husband got a Diet Coke, Mary filled it without him ever asking her she was so polite and on top of everything. My husband ordered lunch and got the Tom Kha Khaki Soup Miso Soup, The Thai Connection with Fried Rice, The Volcano Shrimp with Fried Rice, and the Diversity Roll. The most expensive thing was the sushi at 14.95 but it was all so good and WELL WORTH the price. Ask for Mary when you go it will make her day!! I was so impressed with my order. The place was very clean food was fresh and service was excellent.

We had the red curry with tofu and the Thai tea. We are huge Thai food fans - we probably eat it on average once per week. The recipes are just lacking any real flavors. The curry was just okay - no flavors that standout like in a good curry. And the fried tofu was tough and chewy, likely over cooked. The Thai tea tasted like it was "sweetened" with plain condensed milk instead of sweetened condensed milk. Not bad at all, but all of the other Thai restaurants in town are at least a full star better than this. The server was very friendly though, and the restaurant is clean. read more

We got here at 6:24 on a Monday evening & finally received our food at 7:25. After waiting for more than 35 minutes our server informed us that the chef had been "focusing on DoorDash orders" and we would get a discount. They gave us TEN CENTS off each item! They should have told us that Door Dash had priority when we sat down. This lack of communication and service is unacceptable. We will definitely not be back. read more

I went to Thai Palace last night , ordered my food , was told it would be 10 to 15 min, I waited 30 min , went to counter and asked if my food was ready , they forgot to start my food ,my sushi was ready , but not my main dish , was the only person there , they said they were starting my food it would be about 10 min. ,I said I was not going to wait, I asked for my money back , they did get my money back but I didnt get my tip back , poor service , I will never go back read more

Extremely small toddler size boxes of jasmine rice accompanied with large entrees. Rice box wasn't even 3/4 full which baffles me as rice is the cheapest item to give patrons. Asked for spice level 3 on two different kinds of curry. Apparently no spice red chilis were added leaving it bland, colorless, and tasteless....very disappointing after spending $50+ for two entrees and appetizers. Will return to Everyday Thai in the future even though it is a longer drive. They provide customers with quality food cooked as requested and do not skimp on rice. Thai Palace has been added to my favorites list! The food was delicious and the service was outstanding.

We ate onsite the first time and was unimpressed. They had a fan blowing because I guess their air conditioning was out - that's okay, things happen - I'm there for the food. The sign at the door said they "need help" and that's the truth... The Pad Thai was average at best - really no pop or flair. We had to send one order back but in all fairness it was a special order for my granddaughter, but on their second try, she absolutely loved it. There was one waitress and she worked hard but was mostly apologetic - poor girl. I hate to review on only on take, so we ordered takeout twice. There was no difference in food quality either time - though my granddaughter loved hers. I really wish I could give this a better score, but I can't. There were plenty of other folks in the restaurant on our first trip - perhaps their experiences were better than ours. Bottom line is to try it out for yourself. Tastes are so individual. read more

Beat Thai food in Springfield! The atmosphere, service, and food was top notch! The Thai curries are perfect for the winter time and I love the complimentary chicken rice soup they give out. I had such a welcoming and kind server and I will definitely be back again. read more

Their pad Thai is average I've definitely had better, noodles were very soggy :( but the customer service was excellent!
