I stayed in the house (can't recall the name now). Most of the group stayed at the camps. The bed was reasonably comfortable. They do have a beautiful kitchen. We catered our food. We only used the kitchen to boil water for tea. It was the bee season and our food was feeding the bees nicely. It was a moment to appreciate the co-existence in the nature. There was a hot tub on site. I didn't have time to enjoy it but I had some happy friends at night. There was an outdoor shower area and it looked quite nice. The bathrooms here are rustic yet modern? If that makes sense. The campus here is incredibly beautiful. The trees treated us nicely. There were many good memories left here and we were lucky to secure the facility for our retreat. Our program was pretty packed. I wished I had more time to explore the campus. It was beautiful here.

I felt comforted and supported, inspired and emboldened as a leader. Every detail was taken care of and every creature comfort was there! My guests were incredibly happy with the spaces and we had plenty of room for all of us. It's amazing how the land supported such deep work, as if the wisdom of all groups prior to ours had somehow primed and opened up the space for us to take our personal and collective journeys of transformation. You can feel all of the love and care of the owners and all of the stewards of the land who came before. It was magical, sacred, safe, transformative, deep, joyful, peaceful and more. I am still receiving insights for myself and for my group.

The Cabin was clean, spacious, and newly renovated with natural light and heavenly views. We were bathed in millions of stars at night, cooled by refreshing fog in the morning, and surrounded by soaring trees and warming sunshine. The staff are volunteers, and delightful without exception. The food was lovingly prepared fresh daily, and absolutely delicious. The Retreat center includes a beautiful lodge, eating area with indoor/outdoor seating and the most enchanting Tibetan Buddhist Temple and we highly recommend the tour and if you are very lucky, George will be your tour guide. Don't hesitate to experience the joy, laughter, and enlightenment of the Ratna Ling Retreat Center. You will remember the experience with reverence.

With the available cooking utensils, we were able to make dinner one evening. A small grocery store is a few minutes south. We didn't use the fireplace but there are recliner chairs in front of it that were very inviting if you want a relaxing night in. It is easy to reach Diane and Damien via text. The day before we placed our breakfast order and it was delivered to our door in the morning. The ginger scone was my favorite but the biscuits were also huge and fluffy. Loved the matcha latte. The flowers and plants on the property were gorgeous. If you walk to the top of the property, there is a gazebo and sitting area. Perfect for a place to read. You can see the ocean and hear the Sea Lions. One night we signed up for an hour long session in the hot tub. It was very private, clean, and super relaxing. If you go after dark, the stars are incredible. The pathways were well lit for your walk back. Before visiting, I was a little unsure of what the electric vehicle charging would look like. There are two sections of parking, depending on which room you are staying in. They are well marked based on which room you stay in and don't require a long walk. I recommend to have directions saved and to look up ideas on where you want to go before you leave. There will be little to no signal once you leave the property. Had a fantastic dinner at Izakaya Gama (be sure to make reservations ahead of time) and went to The Record afterwards for a drink. There was a live band and so much positive energy. Damien and Diane were so friendly and welcoming. We can't wait to go back, try a different room, do a wine tasting with Diane and explore more of this gorgeous area. They offered an amazing variety of yoga, meditation, lectures, and musical events for EVERYbody. Whether you were new to yoga or a master yoga teacher, there was something for everyone. They also had yoga related vendors, vegan friendly food service, and several massage/acupuncture/reiki services. The only meal included in the event was Saturday nights Farm to Table dinner which was surprisingly good, especially when they were cooking for 300-400 people. Even though this was a yoga event, they offered wifi throughout the entire event for those who couldn't quite disconnect. I liked that they limit this event to 500 people, so it is not crowded and they allow people of all ages, including kids! Overall, the event was fantastic. My only issue was that I rented a cabin, but was unable to run the heat in the cabin because it smelled like gas and gave me a really bad headache. The kitchen is very well stocked with all of the supplies and gear you could possibly need. The views from the house are absolutely incredible, and our family loved greeting the seals perched below each morning. Highlights from our stay included soaks in the hot tub, countless family walks on the bluff trails, exploring the Hot Spot Loop/San Andreas Fault Interpretive Loop, breakfast at Trinks in Gualala, lunch at the Lodge, grilling dinner on the deck, watching tons of World Cup games in the spacious and comfortable living room, and magical visits to Pebble Beach, Ohlson Beach, And Black Point Beach. This year, our boys also attended a week of Sea Ranch Kids Camp at the Links. They enjoyed their time there, especially the bounce house, art projects, and kayaking trip on the Gualala River. There is a decent sized parking lot that includes a number of first-come, first-served camping spots next to the "temporarily closed" Captain Fletcher's Inn. The beach is open and the parking is free. Several large trees have drifted down the river and washed up on the beach, which makes for some wonderful pictures. Other than the roaring wind and the crashing ocean, it was completely peaceful. I can absolutely understand why people would want to camp here. The room has some very dated features and the layout is incredibly awkward. The most surprising part was as we were getting ready for bed, we turned off the lights in the room. Only to realize the room was being lit by the lights from the restaurant next door! The window above the bed had no way to cover it. The lights finally turned off some time after 11! Our complaint the next morning fell on deaf ears. Not a single person acknowledged that we should have been warned at the very least!
