I prefer to pay more through a company instead of someone using YouTube and no skill. He also pointed out a few items I needed to take a look in the future so it doesn't get worst. He apologized for taking my money and not providing the service as promised in the upgrading of my one-bedroom condominium in Detroit, Michigan. His conversation continued for me to accept his apology and that he wanted to "make It right." In exchange of his payment to me in-full, which would "making it right " he strongly implied (demanded) that I remove the negative review from Yelp and to forward an email to his business account. We discussed the following: A) Return of all of my paid items or full payment for the items. B) The return of all of my kitchen cabinet doors or full payment. I have received most of the cabinet doors through a family member. C) The return of money via Zelle (no personal check accepted) 1. 85% of my two payments ($4,164.25) 2. 100% of my 6-night hotel stay (receipts were provided) 3. 100% of the Lowe's receipt from Allen Park, MI - minus the flooring 4. The return of my items purchased from Lowe's (Harper Woods, MI) or full payment of the items which he failed to deliver to the condominium 5. Payment in full ($1,850.00) for the repairs and major cleanup of his disastrous work. As our telephone conversation continued, I shared with him that I will send a certified letter, instead of or in addition to the email. I requested his mailing address. Mr. Gregory Dale-Serrano Morris the owner of Total Makeover, Inc. promised that he would text me his mailing address later that day. He stated his business address is the same as the one on my "Estimate-Invoice" bill, that he provided me in the past. My reason for requesting Mr. Gregory Dale-Serrano Morris to text me his address is because I have sent several letters of complaint to him, which were returned by the United States Postal Service as "Undeliverable - Return to Sender, no forwarding address. To this date, Friday, December 10, 2021, Mr. Gregory Dale-Serrano Morris has failed to text me his mailing address. Also, he failed to Zelle the money, as promised. Additionally, there are no businesses of Mr. Gregory Dale-Serrano Morris, which are licensed, per the State of Michigan, Licensing and Regulatory Affairs. Therefore, I am of the knowledge that he is still operating as if he is licensed, bonded, and insured, which he is not! Also, I have knowledge that Mr. Gregory Dale-Serrano Morris, owner of Total Makeover, Inc. has swindled another out of money for a remodel/upgrade contractor's job, which he demanded money for and never showed up. This amount is greater than $4,999.00. They are argumentative and threatening toward customers for no reason. They don't care if you have concerns and will start yelling at you if you bring a concern to their attention. I had to hang up on the owner, Koleen, as she was screaming at me and would not listen to anything I was saying. We also had the pleasure of being yelled at and threatened by the other owner, Peter, as well. There is not enough time to detail all of the terrible stress they put us under. But, to provide one example (of MANY), as part of the $16,000 job they did for us, they quoted us for all new soft-close hinges for our cabinet doors. One hour before the installation, Peter sent my husband a text saying that the hinges he ordered were not going to work and he would credit us for the cost. Meanwhile, no one told us to save the old hinges and the workers left them strewn all over the place. Peter told us that he probably could not get new hinges that would work with our cabinets and, even if he did, it was going to cost a fortune. What happened to their original estimate? They are supposed to be the experts. The installation could not happen as planned because we were initially unable to locate all of the original hinges. So, they left the refinished cabinet doors while we went on a hunt for the hinges. Somehow, we managed to locate all of them. In the meantime, Peter was texting us telling us we needed to pay the ~$2,000 balance on our invoice that day (even though the job WAS NOT DONE), or they were going to put a lien on our home. His wife then emailed the invoice to us with a note in all capital letters with the same threat. When we didn't respond to either of these threats, Peter then texted my husband ordering him to call him before the end of the day as he didn't want the situation to escalate. They are the ones that escalated the situation by making these threats. We have had many, many contractors at our home for various repairs and have never, ever been treated so horribly. In fact, we've never even had a minor issue with anyone that we have hired. We are extremely reasonable people. Although the job was eventually completed, there were several areas where we had noted the paint needed to be touched up. They clearly did not care about any of these issues and we just paid the invoice to never have to deal with them again. We were extremely tired of being yelled at and threatened. The whole experience was truly unreal! I fully expect Peter and/or Koleen to comment on this because they LOVE to fight with their customers. Again, run as far away as you can from this pathetic excuse of a company.

Marsha and Rich were more than accommodating and listened to our requests and answered our questions Regarding value, their quotes were in the middle range to high, but we've learned in the past, you get what you pay for. Low bids are usually associated with cutting corners and low quality. Our only complaint, if you can call it a complaint. is that they are very busy and it is difficult to get on their schedule. We obviously have more to do. We whole heartedly recommend this company.
