I found a bunch of awnings that extended out 10', but the longer awnings were harder to come by. I found some, but I was not confident. I ended searching the internet, found Alutex, they came by and we ironed out exactly what I needed. The awning is a roof mounted 20' x 13'. The awning makes the deck such a nicer space now as when we have people over in the summer the sun won't beat down on us. I had been looking for a local business to do screen repairs and stumbled upon "That Screen Guy". It took a few days to connect with Paul and set a date to come out, but trust me, it was worth it. I had Paul redo all the screens on my home just yesterday. He arrived right on time, fully prepared to start working once we agreed to a price. It was clear from the minute he arrived that he takes great pride in his work. He patiently updated 22 windows in under 4 hours, fixing a couple of the old frames along the way. The prices are reasonable and the convenience of having someone come to you to do the work is ideal, but the level of professionalism is what really stood out. We called a bunch of local glass places and couldn't get anyone to commit and then found Sal who came out immediately to give us an estimate. He was booked up for a few weeks but because he had a cancellation, was able to fit us in ahead of our photo day and open house! They made me pre pay $500 for a service then they showed up and were afraid to drive down my driveway with half an inch of snow , so instead of rescheduling, they decide to not do the service and keep my deposit. Keep in mind they never called me to explain anything or tried to reschedule and the owner Chris and his receptionist Gabriela instead were rude and disrespectful over the phone. There are a lot of glass companies out there that will give you a better service and not steal your money. I've contacted Better business bureau and Attorney General on this matter , they can't simply get away with this practice.
