The MOST amazing cupcakes we've ever found! Try them! We went in only expecting to get a couple of cupcakes but after trying a sample and seeing the flavors that they had that day, we ended up with something closer to 10 by the time we left. :) Each of the flavors is made in 3 different sizes (mini, regular, and a jumbo). The owner mentioned that they have something like 300+ flavors that they rotate with different ones available on any given day. I was pleased that they had a decent selection to choose from even later in the day. The cupcakes themselves are light, moist and flavorful but its the frosting that can make or break a cupcake. EVERY single flavor that we tried had amazing frosting! It is light, creamy and fluffy but most importantly, it is not overwhelmingly sweet! The real flavor of the frosting comes through clearly. They have really nailed the perfect balance of flavor and sweetness in every bite. They also do cakes and take special orders for things like weddings as well. As I mentioned, we have tried probably a dozen or more flavors and every one of them was fantastic, but I have a few personal favorites. The Carrot Cake was incredible: Delicious, moist and flavorful cake with a perfectly balanced cream cheese frosting. We got more of these the second day! Banana Caramel: This was the sample that we got to try in-store. It has a perfect banana flavor (not artificial at all) and the caramel and frosting was ideal. The cupcakes we had were so delicious that we made it a point to come back the very next day before leaving town to try even more flavors! Haven't had the cupcakes yet, but My mom ordered my bday cake from here and it was really dry. I thought maybe it was just that one time, so I ordered my sons cake from here and the decoration where really good just what I wanted but the cake once again was dry. There's nothing worse then dry cake and you need to chug down a big glass of milk afterwards. The cakes I make out of a Betty Crocker box comes out more moist then the cakes here. read more

First off I will say the owners husband is incredibly kind. The cake is very pretty and they were very kind to do a cake tasting for my daughter who dislikes cake period. Never had a bite of cake she liked. My daughter did a tasting and picked out a strawberry Cake with strawberry butter cream and to have fresh strawberries on the inside. we also ordered a dozen blueberry lemon cupcakes. The cake was a unicorn cake and was Informed they do them all the time... My mom and our dear friend went to pick up the Cake this evening and my daughters name was spelled wrong on the board, no problem she was swift to fix it. But here is why I am saying two stars. the Cake has no strawberry buttercream not on the inside not on the outside. The cake my daughter tasted is not the Cake I received. the lady argued with my mom for ten min and said there was nothing they could do but send her with a tub of strawberry buttercream that it was never to have strawberry buttercream like we tasted. ( I would never buy a cake with regular buttercream as my daughter would never eat it). I called the shop to see what happen and how they could rectify the situation and the lady told me I was completely wrong. I said I wasn't going to argue with her I'd just write a review and she proceeded to let me know never to contact them again and hung up on me. All I wanted was an apology for the mixup and to come up with a good solution to rectify the error. Instead I was blamed and raised her voice at me and treated me like I was stupid. We've visited here 30+ times and I've never had a "dry" cupcake. Rich? Definitely, but "dry" is not a word I'd use to describe them. I'm the kind of person who loves chocolate and sweets. We just got married and Sue made the cupcakes for our wedding. She offered a free consultation, during which we found the cupcakes to be moist, delicious, and so varied in terms of flavors. She helped us with the logistics that often make wedding planning a nightmare with delivery to our location, set up, cake stand rental, and even a small cake for the top of the stand that we were able to put a super cool custom made cake topper on. All we had to do was show up, and the cupcakes looked great. On top of that, the price was right for our reasonable budget. I've been baking/cooking for a long time, and am usually a lot happier with my own product than anything I buy. Cakes from this place are the exception. Really moist and flavorful with generous icing and profession decoration. Overall, their cakes are delicious and worth the money. Also, great customer service. The one time I was disappointed, Paul and Sue offered me my money back and also gave me a free cake. The free cake amazingly good (red velvet, don't miss it!) I purchased cupcakes a few weeks later, and the flavors were very inventive and the decorations were really nice. My grandmother, who has got to be the pickiest eater on earth, really liked their classic lemon cupcakes. I'll probably be back for an Easter cake. Sequim is lucky to have this place. Before, the only option was do-it-yourself (and to simulate a bakery cake, do-it-yourself means a ten-hour project.) Excellent cakes and great customer service. Can't ask for anything else. read more
