One awning was complete the same week, but as tempertures dipped dangerously low, we posponed the other awning for a week or so - understandable as the temperatues could have cracked the siding and new materials. Love the awnings very much. I did not expect them to harness the door lights - which was a great surprise. Very professional workmanship. The house looks complete.

We paid extra for powder coating to keep the hand rails a long time without rust also. Once the rails came they had smudges on the paint, scratches and the paint was tacky not dried. Once I contacted him about it he said he , the company, doesn't cover the paint imperfections on the rail....???? I have to use the touch up. That was a punch in the gut after waiting for that extended time and paying extra for powder coating. He said that company only covers is the rail is loose.... So after this experience I know that I will be for sure to ask what is covered when ordering any type of rails I'm hoping to right a retraction or follow up to this issue.

Anyone who has had to apply for building permits here in Chicago knows what a pain that can be but CN completely handled everything on their side.
