From start to finish, the process was smooth. The communication was fantastic from Climate Guard when it came to letting me know the windows had been produced and I needed to choose an installation date. I had actually feared buying new windows, but I needed to replace the cheap builder's grade windows that were original to the house. The windows that Antonio helped me choose are mid-line and are professionally made right here in Chicago. On the day of the installation, Climate Guard installers were prompt and on time. They took extreme care when installing the windows from the inside. Everything from the removal of the old windows, installing the new windows, wrapping the frames in aluminum, and weatherproofing the exterior with caulk/sealer, I couldn't ask for much more. The 2-man crew cleaned up after themselves and even took the time to show me how to use them. Antonio followed up after the installation to see how my wife and I liked the windows, and we told him we couldn't be happier. THANK YOU Antonio! THANK YOU Climate Guard! We hired Ryan and co. to give us an estimate on repairing the metal stairs and landing behind our…read more2-unit condo. The estimate was solid and he was very honest about what did and didn't need to be replaced - we were confident they would do a good job. The initial work itself was indeed very good. Though it took them a very long time to commit to an actual starting date due to another "big job" they had. Aside from some weather delays, there were long gaps time when they promised work would begin but several warm sunny warm days would go by without a word. Once they finally started, the work progressed mostly well with one gap in the road when we didn't see them for a week. They finished the job and asked for the remaining payment due. Upon inspection, we noticed a few things that still needed addressing. After a few more days a couple of guys came by and did a very thorough job of touching up the missing stuff. Will was the main guy for the touch-ups and was truly awesome. He was very dedicated to ensuring we were happy with every little detail. So we arranged for payment of the balance due. But then... it rained a couple of days later and we saw a large puddle of water pooled up on the landing right outside our back door. This is our main egress to our cars with kids, etc. so it was kind of a big deal. And with winter approaching, it would be a sheet of ice and potentially dangerous when trying to carry our 2 year-old to the car. I contacted Ryan directly on 9/17 and he said no problem and he'd send someone to pound it out the next day. Nobody showed. I contacted him again on 10/4, 11/3, 11/14, and 12/6. I got a response only once on 11/14 saying sorry and he'd come the next day, but nobody showed up. So now, we have a constant puddle and sheet of ice outside our back door that my daughters and wife have all slipped and fell on on their way to work and school. It's pretty disappointing that what was so close to a great job was ruined by this small little thing they couldn't be bothered to fix because we had already paid them. I don't think we'd hire them again. Despite the good work they did initially, and the excellent service from Will, the inability to do the right thing and follow through is a deal breaker. Not following through on a seemingly small detail has caused a huge pain for us.

He was conscientious and responsive. I asked him and his team to remove everything for a clean slate, and they did exactly what I asked for. The hard-working team was efficient, quick, and went above and beyond ensuring the yard was completely debris-free. I am so pleased with the results and plan to continue using their maintenance services. I highly recommend Villa!
