Despite not having reservations, we were welcomed into the restaurant. Though I HIGHLY recommend getting a reservation. The restaurant it beautifully decorated and the bar is absolutely stunning. The food was delicious and so were the drinks! The only thing I would recommend is paying attention to what you're actually ordering. I ordered a drink that was on the bar menu and not labeled as a mocktail but was priced like a cocktail. It was still delicious but I felt like paying a premium for a mocktail was the only thing not worth it. I'd still return but just being more aware.

Sometimes you come across a restaurant that takes you on a culinary journey and bliss. We have been blessed to have experienced a handful of those and this place is one of them. This is not your traditional Indian restaurant. It's upscale and healthy and pushes the culinary skill. We started with a new dish to us, the paan. It had 4 small mozzarella looking balls underneath a leaf that was sitting on yogurt. We had no idea how to eat it but luckily, the manager came over and cracked the leaf on top with a spoon and divided it into 4 servings. We were told the balls are usually fried but they didn't. Then the star of the show came in, the lamb chops. It wasn't just the presentation that wowed us. It was the tender, juicy, succulent cut of meat that we dipped in the green sauce. OMG what an experience. We looked like kids in a candy store. Such a delight. The special 100 food naan then came out, thin with white cheese and pesto drizzled with a honey. I'm glad this was recommended instead of the regular garlic naan we wanted to try. Dipping this and wrapping it around the tender oh so flavorful butter chicken was just heaven. We just looked at each and marveled at our accidental find for a restaurant. I picked this place based on a post in Yelp. It was Indian, it was local, they had lamb chops, and the decor was upscale. Boy, I'm glad we went. So the concept apparently is to change their menu every 100 days. I can't wait to try their other items on the menu, but I'm sad that the lamb chops might go away. I have to come back for the experience and can't wait for the next. We actually went during their soft opening. Sometimes you feel like you've been forgotten. But we've been to Europe where the service is slow and they don't constantly bother you, so we weren't sure if they were just understaffed. Overall, we might be regulars just to experience this culinary journey again and again.

Our second visit to The 100-Food Journey: A Tale of Indian Cuisine was just as memorable as the first, if not better. We decided to explore completely different dishes this time, and every single choice paid off. We kicked things off with the Mango Mule and the Blueberry Lavender Spritzer, both refreshing and beautifully balanced, setting the tone for the meal ahead. For appetizers, the Ghee Podi Prawns were packed with bold, aromatic flavor, while the mushroom-filled samosas offered a delicious twist on a classic. The Highway Ka Kukads were another standout, perfectly cooked and deeply flavorful. For our entrée, we shared the Daryaganj Signature Butter Chicken along with the Special 100 Food Journey Naan, and it was nothing short of incredible. The butter chicken was rich, comforting, and expertly spiced, paired perfectly with the warm, pillowy naan. Dessert truly stole the show, the Jamun Kunafa Nest was a stunning and indulgent finale, both visually beautiful and absolutely delicious. What made the experience even more special was our server, Teja. He was attentive, kind, and genuinely enjoyable to talk to. He even remembered us from our last visit when his sister was our server, which added such a thoughtful, personal touch. Once again, the flavors were outstanding, the presentation was stunning, and the atmosphere and service were exceptional. We truly love dining here and are already looking forward to coming back, especially when the menu changes and the patio opens for outdoor dining.

We've dined at The 100 Food Journey twice now, and each experience has been exceptional. The food is truly on another level. Every dish is beautifully balanced, thoughtfully prepared, and full of flavor. It feels elevated without losing warmth or comfort. The presentation of both the food and the cocktails is beyond impressive. You can tell real creativity and care go into every detail, from plating to glassware. The atmosphere is warm and upscale, making it perfect for a special night out while still feeling welcoming and relaxed. Such an exciting addition to Newburgh. We will absolutely be back again.

We tried the new Indian restaurant that replaced the old steak restaurant next to the North Plank Rd Tavern. We tried the NASHIK LAMB CHOPS, the Branzino coconut curry, and garlic naan. We were stuffed by the end of our meal, but they graciously offered us a dessert called SULAIMANI CHAI & MASCARPONE CREAM & MASCARPONE CREAM. It was their take on Tiramisu. We loved EVERYTHING!!! The service was top notch.

Food was delicious and well prepared. Good portions. Service was lovely and the decor looked beautiful. They took great care with all of the details. We will be back.

It's been a few years and I probably tried every Indian restaurant in Dutchess County that I know of multiple times. While many of them are good. This is still by far the best. Coconut rice, coconut naan and butter chicken is my go to here but everything that I've had is always excellent. Service is always amazing and it's a pleasant clean friendly atmosphere.

We came in on a Wednesday night and the place was almost empty. They had a buffet going but we decided to try their menu. I have to tell you, we were glad we did. We ordered a few appetizers and three chicken dishes. They were served family style, which was perfect because we were able to share and try different things. The food was absolutely delicious. The flavors were bursting with each dish I tried. I honestly do not remember tall the names of things I tried, but when I tell you they tasted out of this world amazing, I am not exaggerating. The chicken was juicy and tender. The spices and sauces complemented each dish perfectly. The portions were very generous- we all had food to take home. And the prices are very reasonable for the amount and quality of food. The service was attentive, the waiter was friendly and patient, as we navigated the new names of the menu. I do not know how this place was not busy, maybe more people come on weekends. I will definitely be back and might be ordering take out too. Highly recommend.

But the Red Dot seems to nail every single dish. We started with the multigrain vegan waffle with fresh fruit and loved it! So clean and flavorful, with perfectly ripe fruit. I do think the fruit should have been included, because it would have been a bit plain without it. Next, we had the ancient grains kitchari which was incredible. We loved all the fresh vegetables perfectly cooked, adding a variety of textures and flavors. It is offered as mild, medium, or hot; we got hot, which was great but not overly spicy, and we might request extra spicy next time. Lastly, we got the breakfast paratha wrap filled with their incredible tofu scramble. We were so impressed by how non-greasy it was (both the paratha and the scramble). We are always looking for food that isn't overly salty or oily, which is hard to find, but the Red Dot managed to do everything perfectly. Also major props to their masala chai, made super fresh with your choice of milk. The soy milk was creamy and pleasantly sweet and it didn't even require adding sugar. So rare to find vegan masala chai. The food takes fairly long to come out, but we felt it was worth it because of how delicious everything was; we also appreciated the generous portions. I think we have found one of our new favorite restaurants!
