Their chow mein is wonderful if you're looking for noodles and this is the only place in all of Orange County that I've found Lassi (yogurt drink: very refreshing) The owners are very friendly.

I love pho... and I have recently tried Tibetan food and loved it, sooo Tibetan pho? yeaaa gonna…read morehave to eat it!!! I ordered the Pho Tibet Special,,, it was such a icy cold day this hot soup brought me back to life it was sooooo good! SO GOOD! If we went on food alone this would be 10/10 but I am so disappointed with the service!! Like? There was only one other table dinning when I went with my group of three, I am assuming they probably have a lot of online orders and that is why it took so long for the food to come but it was not just the food! The staff themself took so long to come take our order and did not even look in our direction that I had assumed I had to go up to the counter to order (which you don't they come to your table), and when we did order they forgot our summer rolls, they forgot to bring us water, and forgot to bring us silverware... come on... I don't want to be a hater! Eventually we got the summer rolls and silverware but I never got water? they brought water for the rest of my table though lol. Okay well you know the staff was young so they are probably still learning, I am gonna give three stars... and the food was good I would be willing to try again,,, but this place is probably better as takeout then dining in... it is unfortunate because it is a nice space, I like how open it is. Food: 5/5 Service: 2/5

Sure enough, I found Momo Garden. Being convenient to my itinerary, I invited a local friend to join me for a quick lunch (just momo's), and a chance to scope the rest of the menu. Their website and sign say open at noon on Saturdays, but they were already open when I arrived a few minutes before that. We were given hot tea after being seated. I don't know if you always get that (they have a chai on the menu), but because the restaurant was still warming up from the chilly morning, the tea was very welcome. Various other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are also available. Papadam and sauces were also brought to the table. The momo's come in 2 varieties, chicken and vegetable, and you can get them in several ways, including fried, steamed, and Jhol, which is the street-food style served in broth. These were delicious, even better with the dipping sauce. The vegetable ones might fall apart a little bit, so you may want to use a spoon instead of a fork, to be sure you get every bit of the deliciousness. This is a great addition to the area. The rest of the menu will just have to wait until my next visit.

I was so happy to hear that they opened another restaurant in Glen Cove! Plenty of street parking is available, and they even have a shared parking lot in back of the restaurant! I parked in the back, and entered the restaurant via the backdoor! Note that there are stairs at the back entrance, so if you can't do stairs, it's best to park in front of the restaurant. This Glen Cove locations is lovely; beautiful murals and great vibes. I was shocked and sad to see it so empty on a Saturday evening! I hope more people give this place a chance because the food and service is great! This was our Shared Menu (plenty for 2ppl, and we had leftovers): -- Water Buffalo Momos w.Chili Sauce (8pcs/$18): the Momos were tasty; the meat was very lean. I would skip the Chili sauce next time. I didn't like the sweet and sour taste of the sauce, so next time I'd like to try the steamed Momos with Johl sauce instead. -- Choila Roti "Not a Taco" with Jackfruit (2pcs/$12): Not a Taco but similar to a taco. This was delicious and I'd get this again. We choice the Jackfruit version but they also have a chicken version. -- Masala Wings (Sauteed wet version) (4pcs/$11): I remember really liking the wings when I was at the Ridgewood location but couldn't recall which wings we had. On this visit, we had the wet version which was good but I realized that I like their dry version better. -- Grilled Lamb Chops w.Timur Sauce, Veggies & white rice (2pcs/$25): Surprisingly, this was my least fave dish of the night. I normally love lamb chops but these chops didn't really have a nice seared taste to them. The texture was a little off for me. Also, it was very boney with not much meat. I would try another entree next time. All in all, a good meal! I found the large selection of appetizers more interesting than the entrees, and would have been happy just sharing a bunch of appetizers and small plates. Customer service was welcoming and friendly! It was a pleasure to chat with the owner. Nice addition to the neighborhood!

My husband and I both got tikka masala dishes. He got chicken and I got the shrimp. In hindsight I wish I had tried the Saag just so we could have tasted a different sauce. However, the tikka masala was truly the best we've ever had. And we are always chasing excellent food so we've had our share. The dumplings were great but we would likely opt for a different appetizer as they didn't really blow us away. The service though is really what puts this place over the top. We were in a bit of a time crunch so I'm disappointed we couldn't stay longer and try dessert so we will definitely be back when we can make it down to SoNo again.

Service felt a bit understaffed, our first order took a while, and our second order never arrived. They did try to make it right, but by then we had already been there a couple of hours and the kids were definitely not going to keep sitting and waiting. We also had a small hiccup with the chai tea: it comes unsweetened with sugar on the side, but the sugar was forgotten at first. When it did arrive, there was no spoon and not quite enough packets. The chai itself was decent once we could actually sweeten it. The momos were surprisingly flavorful on their own, with a nice curry spice kick that made them enjoyable even without dipping sauce. The sauces they come with are also tasty, just be careful, as one has a pretty strong heat that lingers. We also had the chicken garlic soup, which was quite tasty with fried garlic chips on top. Overall, good food but service felt a bit overwhelmed that night.
