We had an absolute blast hanging with the boys of Magnetic Valley resort! The resort is beautiful, inviting, and a great place to relax, (or get into a bit of trouble if you like) The Hosts, Anthony and Kyle are very sweet guys, in addition to also being very easy on the eyes,.. cuties for sure. We actually only went out for what would be a one night stay, but we so enjoyed ourselves while at the resort, we ended up extending our stay, twice, and staying for the entire week! In addition to the resort, the owners also own one of the most happening clubs in town, and although I have been all over the world, the dance floor at their, "Eureka Live" club, is EPIC, reminding me of the days at Studio 54!,.. PS the rooms have Heavenly Beds, and egyption gotten sheets that feel like silk! Book them into your life today, and make the reservation you always wanted to! Owners are creeps. Talked to me about wanting to suck my dick and fuck me when I told them I was in a monogamous relationship. I went in the fall of 2020. The pool isn't that great but not terrible. The pool lining had folds and creases on the bottom and should be replaced with tile but it's a saltwater chlorine generator which is nice. I met some nice people from Fayetteville but most of the guys were kinda messed up. read more

The owner went out of his way to apologize for the broken ac units. I will always support small businesses and for that reason, the overall accommodating nature of the owner, and seriously the lovely pool area, I am upping my stars from 2 to 4. MVR is getting where they want to be slowly, but surely and for this reason, my partner and I will be going back for another visit! Visited the resort for the first time back in July, friendly staff, and the best place to relax and meet new people, between the staying guests, day passers, staff and owners. I met people I will want forever in my life. From its beautiful surroundings, great accommodations, new furniture, plus new and super comfy mattress. We go to Eureka Springs every year and we stay here every time. The owners, Alvin and Charlie, and great guys who go out of their way to make your stay as relaxing as possible. They have recommendations on where to dine, hike, shop, and even who in town gives a great massage. We were the only overnight guests one night and they even asked us to join them for dinner at Cafe Amore, which was delicious. We walked in and the owner hugged us all and sent out appetizers. I can say we have never gotten such good service in our lives. It's secluded natural setting is so inviting. The back of the property is against a hill planted with flowers and and featuring a waterfall that runs down and provides wonderful background noise accompanying the birds and breezes. And at night it's wonderful to lay in the pool and look up at the stars. The saltwater pool is heated in cooler weather and cooled in hot weather, and the hot tub is great all year round. the rooms are large and clean and most have direct access to the pool area. The best thing about it though is we have met many friends there that we have kept in touch with and see there over and over. We've started to schedule our vacations together so we can all meet up there. They also have day passes for locals who can be found by the pool every day in the summer. They have really done their best to create a community atmosphere. They have succeeded. read more

The people at the resort are nice and you can see where improvements are being made. However, I felt it was overpriced for what we got. When I made the reservation I informed them we would have en extra person and wanted to see if they had a larger room, but they didn't. So I was told they would put a roll away cot in the room and charge an additional person fee. I was agreeable to it, but when we arrived there wasn't a cot available and I was still charged for my friend to have to sleep on the floor or for 3 of us to squeeze into a queen sized bed. In addition our AC didn't work the first 2 nights. I brought it to the attention of the property manager and was told that it's really hot outside and it would take a while to cool down. When it didn't I mentioned it again and was told they couldn't get someone out to service it till Monday. I had friends who rented the room across from us so they had to leave their door open so that it would help cool our room. The gentlemen in the room below us didn't have working AC either. So I paid almost $1500 for 3 nights in a room with no working AC and was not provided the cot as promised. My friends and I still managed to have a good time and people are very friendly. I just hope they learn to resolve issues sooner or not charge people for services they weren't provided. read more

This is the furthest from COVID safe. No social distancing, no masks, a shack with mosquito nets and a bench with plastic chairs for men to have sex in, no precautions whatsoever and to go along with it people from multiple cities and states visit so it's almost a breeding ground. Was going to stay and see the shared bathroom with another room didn't realize how unsanitary or close the quarters really were. Left without even touching the bed and was charged an entire two days because the safety of guests is no concern and when everyone is naked with no mask or anything it's a little concerning. Cancelled my Labor Day weekend there and will not be going back. But you are allowed to have multiple people sitting on laps in a hot tub naked or pee next to each other in rocks out in the open on a hill. And people wonder why there is still a high level of COVID in situations in Northwest Arkansas. Not saying they're from here but with this lack of concern and ignoring mandated policies from the state I can only wonder. If this sounds like a good time I would go at your own discretion. You can bring any alcohol you want as long as it's not glass and drink all day since I never saw anyone carded while I was there so I guess it's just one of those quaint little hidden gems in Eureka Springs. Meanwhile covid is spiking dramatically and Americans can't control it (wonder why) so we are still banned from traveling to nearly every country because people are not taking things seriously. Just my perception after going a couple times but will not be returning. read more

My husband and i have heve been here 2days, on our way thru to Oregon, this guy above me,was a super asshole, these guys have been awesome to us and treated us like family, dont let this guy make you miss out on a jewel tucked away in Arkansas. We camp at male mens resorts all over the country, and i highly recommend you come enjoy the beauty that these,delightful owners put in so much work its beautiful, i never ever saw any body having open sex anywhere so this guy is on some other shit, not to mention the hot men everywhere. So dont listen to this douche bag he was the biggest snob ever, in in eureka this is the must stop place!!!! read more

this is a men only resort in eureka springs and is the only one in arkansas. pros: our Saturday visit was fun and we enjoyed the pool, hot tub and outdoor bar area - all are in a clothing-optional area. owners were friendly and we felt welcome. we bought a 1 day pass, but they have overnight lodging too. cons: the place was dirty and cluttered with tools trash and nasty rags on the outdoor bar. everywhere you turned there was tacky handmade signs about do this - don't do that. read more

Yes! We are definitely fans! Our 3 day/2 night get-away was too short; so we've resolved to be back! MVR room accommodations are quite pleasant, comfortable, and particularly clean. Our room for our initial visit was the first floor accommodation in the 3-way House. Especially enjoyable was access to a nice common room and a front porch. And we can't neglect mentioning the swimming pool, jacuzzi, and dry sauna. Relaxing! Another real plus for MVC is it's privacy and seclusion while in quite close proximity to downtown Eureka Springs. The owners/managers Alvin and Charlie are topnotch hosts and go the extra-mile to assist guests. Anxious to return and relax, we highly recommend Magnetic Valley Retreat (and Eureka Springs as well). read more

MVR owed a full refund on a room reservation but refused to honor what its owner promised. Apparently, there was a second owner who refused to uphold the agreement of the first to refund a canceled room seven days prior to arrival rather than the policy of 10 if the room could be re-rented, which it was. When I asked why they immediately charged me rather than upholding the owner's agreement I was called an "asshole," yelled at, cursed at, and hung up on. I called back and received similar treatment before being hung up on once more. I attempted a third call but the phone went unanswered. The reason I canceled the rooms is because I learned this is a homosexual nudist motel. My room would have been adjacent the pool which is a nude pool where public homosexual sex acts take place. Had I known what they were about I would never have booked. But still, they should uphold their commitment to refund in full. read more
