    Happy Memorial Day weekend

Well worth the bicycle ride - the best pastries ever. The donuts are amazing. Had to stop there twice on the way out and back to Nyack.

9W seems like it serves as a popular meeting point for bikers and car enthusiasts alike along the highway. Outdoor and indoor seating lends a casual easy vibe for a lunch with friends. There are two eateries- one stand that offers burgers, sandwiches and fries, milkshakes, etc., and another cafe-like setting serving up heartier, fancier meals like lobster rolls, steaks, tuna salads, pasta and such. Service was okay, given the long lines. You can also order online to save time before you arrive. Your name gets called out on the loudspeaker when your order is done. You seat yourselves- either inside or outside. Our burgers and fries were great, seasoned well and cooked to our desired temp. Fries were generous and are served thin. We had the aoli sauce. I ordered the tuna salad sandwich that came with chips. Hearty bread, well seasoned and a generous portion of the tuna salad. My husband had the cubed steaks and brussel sprouts as his side. Steaks were cooked to desired temp and the sprouts were grilled. We were a party of 13 and we found a table that sat us comfortably. We didn't feel rush. The vibe was friendly. Would recommend !

Is is a very cool and Fun place. I noticed a lot of Bikers and cyclists stop here for a bite to eat. It looks like is very family friendly as i noticed people from all ages even furry friends. Great food and a lot of healthy viriety that looks to be made fresh with Fresh ingredient. They also have a good selection of drinks and beer. No wonder this is a favorite stop after a strenuous workout. In my case, a day of hiking.

So cute! Only wish they had some afternoon wine available. Other than that, it's a perfect place with plenty of vegetarian options. Utterly adorable.

We got to enjoy lunch outside at the picnic tables. My husband got a chicken. sandwich and I got the hotdog and onion rings from The Filling Station stand right next to it. Both dishes were delicious! They do tend to get packed with a lot of bikers, but that being said they handle service really well. If you're in the area and are looking for outdoor, casual dining. I recommend the 9W Market/Filling Station!

Delicious place I've been coming here since 2020. The food is fresh. I had breakfast lunch and dinner. I highly recommend this place. They also have an outdoor seating area. Perfect to meet with friends or just take a break from biking. And their burgers are epic

It's such a disappointment to dine in there. They have a great dining area and outdoor area. But their restroom is filthy and smelly. And we ordered chicken salad, tuna steak, salmon steak and Brussels sprouts. The Brussels sprouts are very over cooked and bitter. And the tuna steak isn't fresh.

Good coffee and delicious pastry and excellent service. And very clean well maintained cafe.

Nestled up in the picturesque Palisades, this café/restaurant is the quintessential stop for any cyclist or food enthusiast. It's not only a favored rest stop on the journey, but often becomes the destination itself! The place comes alive every weekend morning with the hustle and bustle of cyclists seeking a pit stop or simply savoring their delightful selection of food and pastries. Whether you're seeking something hearty or craving a sugary treat, their extensive menu is sure to gratify any palate. The café bakes up an array of pastries that are both mouth-watering and immensely satisfying. Their iced coffee deserves a special mention. It's robust, well-balanced, and exactly the refreshing kick you need after a long ride. It is the perfect blend of smooth coffee and cooling ice that revitalizes your senses. But what sets this place apart is how well they cater to the needs of the cycling community. With plenty of bike racks available, you can easily secure your ride while you indulge in the café's offerings. They even go the extra mile by refilling your water bottle with ice water, a much-needed service on those sweltering summer rides. If you're pedaling your way up to Nyack, a stop at this café is a must. Not only for its convenient location, but the food, the drinks, and the cyclist-friendly services make this place a gem in the heart of the Palisades. I have a goal of trying every pastry here this summer and will be back often!

You know those days when you don't want to cook but you want options? Like, You want the option of a pizza, sandwich, home cooked meal with delicious sides, or maybe even a burger?? All in a non-pretentious setting? With the options of beer /sangria /wine! Oh and let's not forget the array of desserts to choose from. THIS IS THE PLACE! This is exactly what happened last night.... I couldn't choose from anything on my DoorDash, Uber eats, GrubHub delivery apps. And nothing on the menus from the local restaurants enticed me. So I just said to myself why not go to a place that has everything? I sat down and relaxed outdoors with their citrus elderberry sangria and went along with the staff recommendations. They did not disappoint as usual! Get their jelly filled donuts yummy! And their loaded oatmeal cookie to really fill you up I thought this place was great for burgers and a beer after a hike, but it's so much more! Fyi: bring mosquito repellent if you want to sit outside haha

A favorite pit stop for bicycle riders along 9W, this place gets really busy early morning hours, because of all the bikers stopping by. They have indoor and outdoor seatings, serving bakery goods, breakfast, deli goods, pizza and lobster rolls. The bakery items are really impressive, well made bread, croissants, cupcakes, cookies, pastries, and many more items. To me their bakery is the best among all the things they sell. We tried some of their breakfast items. Its mostly eggs, bread and salad style dishes. They are made well and served within a decent time. The lobster rolls are pricey for their quality, but they are good! It's nice place to hangout with f&f in nice summer days, to enjoy some good meal.

Nice brunch place. Lots cyclists come for brunch. It might get a little crowded. Basic options for the breakfast/brunch. Eggs/bread/sandwiches etc. But they also have lobster roll/crab roll. Dinner menu is different. Some cooked food / salad / bakery items to go. Very convenient!

What a difference in design from the previous Brrzaar café in this same spot years ago. The color on all the walls adds a minimalist+chic feel but keeps the clean look that only a white paint provides! It's the perfect balance, in my opinion. If it's an upbeat café you're after, this husband+wife team at LuDy (named after the couple's 2 children) are bringing their Melbourne coffee culture to quaint Irvington, NY. They partner with Proud Mary Coffee to bring coffee to the masses, Flour Power from Pelham, NY to offer scrumptious baked goods and Spirit Tea. Judging by the number of people I found sitting at the tables chitchatting with their friends/co-workers, etc during my Tuesday 11am visit, this is the place for a hangout over bites and beverages. But do also know, LuDy is loud. I'm not sure if people nowadays know common conversation 101 courtesy using a normal volume. Anyhow. Since their June '24 opening, LuDy's owner is setting himself apart in the community and is the epitome of a friendly neighborhood cafe. And service from him, the morning I was here, was pure gentlemanly as he located a chair for me to sit at one of the empty tables. Thank you! My hibiscus+lemongrass+ ginger root 'Rosella Tonic' iced tea was refreshing. What would've taken my hot chocolate (made with a chocolate sauce) to the next level would've been a darker chocolate kind. But the barista zhuzhed up my drink with a pattern like it was coffee. Thank you again!
