Unfortunately nothing positive to speak of. The women at front counter is less then courteous and I'm being very polite in my description of her. The gentleman making sandwiches moves pretty slow and was more interested in looking at his phone. I've been here multiple times out of desperation when I just need something in my belly while working . This deli is really the only game in town and I'm sure that is what they rely on for steady business because the is food neither great nor bad but service and friendliness is subpar. read more

George has been the proprietor of this location for forever in a day. When you first walk in and you see the regulars hanging around the tables insulting one another, you know it's going to be a warm friendly place. Like many places, the food is handcrafted. No magic, just good ingredients and no surprises. Be careful at lunch, because the place gets packed with lots of locals, landscapers, and others. Unfortunately, staffing is a bit of an issue during lunch, so don't expect anything very quickly , I tend to go in the morning and get quick. Rarely what I go in for lunch to pick up, but their lunch options are excellent. Many thanks to owner-operator George for letting us into the shop a few minutes after closing time. We were actually very hungry and thirsty, having traveled a distance to attend a wedding nearby. The ham and swiss cheese sandwiches prepared for us were fresh and delicious, as was the brownie. We had a great conversation with George, and he is clearly a business owner who cares about his patrons and is willing to go the extra mile! Quite a gem! We were in town for a wedding and looking for breakfast. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn't open until 10 and we were ready to eat at 9, so we hopped over to the deli. On our Saturday visit, the spot had a good number of people, so good sign. It's a cute small business and very friendly. We were greeted immediately. We ordered, grabbed drinks, sat, and waited for the food before we paid. Most of us got bagels and devoured them. I did the two eggs plate, scrambled, with wheat. Wow... I rushed into yelp to let people know that this place is legit! My coworkers and I left work for a quick lunch and we all left very satisfied! The food came out fast and so delicious, I devoured my turkey sandwich, my friend raved over and over about her beef gyro which she barely finished cause it was so big! As you can tell I'm very excited about this place, the fries were also very addicting and they were so generous with the amount they serve. Finally, the owner was soooo nice, he was around the restaurant, cleaning and greeting the customers. We even witnessed him giving a small child free cookies. Today's experience made me truly treasure local businesses and their owners. My wife & I like to walk in a nearby park. So we always stop here when in the area. The food is top notch & the portions are generous. The prices are reasonable & the service is first rate. The couple running the business, whom I assume are husband & wife, are both very friendly & make you feel like an old friend. There are a few tables for you to sit & enjoy your delicious food, but most people get their food "to-go." The ambience is very friendly, while being fast & efficient. I am a frequent visitor to this deli and I always love it! The menu is quite extensive. They have breakfast all day and really awesome coffee, including graham cracker coffee which is my favorite. The lunch menu is really extensive with really amazing salads and sandwiches and even a hot bar. I love the chop-chop salad and I highly recommend it. The salmon dishes are great too. The portions are on the generous side and the service is very friendly and they get to know your order if you come often. The owner George, is super friendly and will make you feel at home. Won't be coming back. Not only is it overpriced, but what I ordered was so incredibly bland I could have made it at home. I can't speak for the rest of the menu but the veggie wrap was gross- the veggies were simply grilled and rolled into a very basic wrap with little to no seasoning. No sauce added to save this either. The only thing saving this was the fresh mozzarella cheese which I took out separately to eat. Never again! I vow to not go back but out of sheer convenience of location I stop in thankfully infrequently. The service is very poor borders on rude. My former visits were overpriced for deli sandwiches where meats are precut. This visit left us in line 35 minutes with five people in front of us and two counter people to work which should be sufficient except they were poorly organized and not working as a team. And why would you make to go orders before the customers waiting in store? Finally, we were asked to order and I requested a ham & Swiss on roll meats sliced thin, I was told that will take another twenty minutes! That is when we stormed out and I vow to you all NEVER EVER AGAIN. We ended up at Elmers & had a great lunch! The food quality much better for less money and the service was excellent. I'm used to getting sub that are so heavily loaded with meat they are difficult to bite on. I got an Italian here and it had maybe two slices of ham and one salami. However, the slices were thick cut and for me this is not a negative as I usually take extra meat out. Also, the sub was very cheap so again no complaints here on the amount of cold cuts. As for the service, I was not greeted or anything like that but it did go pretty quick. I do wish they had a more organized way of waiting for a turn rather than standing around and waiting to be noticed. We stopped in this deli on our way up north and I'm so glad we crossed 3 lanes of traffic to not miss the exit! From the friendly service to the food, I wish there were more than 5 stars to give. Although I do hear good things about their breakfast selections. It's a deli, so there's not much to get excited about. However, they do have daily selections on their hot menu that change. I would probably give this a better review except for the staff. Some of them are grumpy, don't seem to care, take forever to make things. They also have a knack for running out of different types of bread. I understand the lunch rush but this was well after that when it comes to speed of service. Especially since there were only four of us in the joint and eight people working. The cashier has their respective moments, from not acknowledging customers, to being too busy eating their lunch behind the counter. I wish I could give this deli a 10 star review! My colleague and I were in near here for business and stopped here to grab some dinner for our drive home back to MA. Not only were the people that worked here incredibly warm, hospitable, and funny, but they made the greatest wrap I've ever had! PACKED with quality meat and cheese (Boar's Head!), crisp fresh veggies, and made perfectly. My colleague got a salad that was absolutely massive and contained so many veggies it was like a work of art! All of this quality food including drinks and sides came to just about $10 each. Amazing!
