Please beware of using Rx Sealers for any job…read more Started off great as Steve seemed very knowledgeable about the work needed to be done on our driveway but it soon turned very sour. Steve did the power washing of the driveway on a particular day but for the driveway repairs and seal coating, Steve only gave us dates (for when he could do the work) when it was either raining during the day or later that day. As anyone would imagine/know/research, driveway repairs, and rain don't mix well. When we questioned Steve no it, he made it seem like we did not know what we were talking about which was extremely unprofessional. He messaged us one day saying he would do the driveway repairs the next day in the morning. We were only able to see the message very early in the morning the day of and again, it was scheduled to rain that evening. We questioned him again on it, and he insisted on doing the work that morning even though it was scheduled to rain. We eventually canceled that morning as he did not seem interested in doing a quality job that would last. His interest seemed to be in completing the work to get his check. Further, Steve had power washed the driveway a few weeks before (because there was no good day in the middle) and when we canceled because he could find a good time for our job, he insisted on getting paid for the power washing. He CLAIMED to have sent us a bill which we never got, and then one day asked a lady to call us for the check - I informed the lady that we had not received the invoice and had to ask her to stop yelling. She sent a text message with a link to the invoice saying we had to mail in the check. A few days later, I got a call from Steve YELLING at me asking why it was not paid and threatening to take me to court. I had to repeatedly ask him to calm down and when he finally did, I asked if there was any alternative mode of payment as frankly, I do not have a checkbook anymore. He tried to tell me it is 2024 and why I didn't have a checkbook, to which I had to honestly reply saying it is 2024, why does he not have an electronic mode of payment. In short, a terrible experience. Don't use this company.

They quickly and thoroughly cleaned the gutters, and left everything neat afterwards. Would never know they were here, except there were no longer plants growing in the gutters - that's how badly the needed cleaning. I originally called four companies I found on Yelp. One I had used before responded quickly, but was already booked for the rest of the year on preferred roofing jobs. Second replied eventually but was "not available". Third never responded to our request. Jimmy's was the exception. Highly recommended.

These guys did a GREAT job cleaning up the leaves. So here's why this is a 1 star review. I get a quote over the phone to mow the lawn and clean the leaves- 140/hr. I get told they will not bill my card without calling me. I had to call them every week for 3 weeks to get them to my property. They missed deadlines they set for themselves every time, until the third time I called and they asked if it needed to be done before Thanksgiving. I told them yes and they show up at 3pm the day before Thanksgiving to do some work. Sundown was at 4:30 that day, so they missed the Thanksgiving deadline (not that it mattered to me) and had to come back a second day to finish. Also, no one cut the front lawn either day they were at the home. 3 weeks later I have a $700 charge. No call to tell me the cleanup is going to run long, no call to tell me they are charging me. I honestly thought this was a mistaken charge. The only time I got a call was when I left a voice mail telling them I was going to put a stop payment on the charge. The owner called me that day and laid it all out- it was a big project, what his costs are, he wasn't stealing... No answer when I asked him why he didn't call me to tell me it was going to be a 5 hour job. He said they cut the front lawn, which makes me think he was never at the house because there is no way that was done and it's still a mess. He said he would "see what he could do to make it better so I don't bad mouth him," but that's not what this is. Like I said, these guys did a GREAT job with the leaves. But for $700 I probably could have hired the local football team to pick up the leaves by hand, one by one. I'm gonna write this one off as a loss and look for a different landscaper.

Jay and his team at Grounds Keeper recently did work on my family's yard and they did a top-notch…read morejob, beyond my expectations. I had a lot of poor soil, stumps and roots in the back yard that I wanted to get rid of. I thought fall would be a good time to do it so the grass would seed before winter and look good by spring. I expected a pretty slow growth process and didn't think the yard would look like much for at least a few months, but Jay planted a number of large rolls of sod and blended them really well with the rest of the yard. By the time he was done, it was impossible to tell the new area from the rest of the yard because everything looked great together. When you work with contractors, there's always a risk they'll take a long time to finish the job or leave a mess, but Jay was especially attentive to our property and cared about our overall experience. We were always asked beforehand what time would be convenient for us to have them work at the house, and we always knew in advance as to when a worker would show up. They were always specific about the time and never gave us a range (like "sometime between 1:00 and 4:00"). If they said they would show up at 1:00, then they showed up at 1:00. And when his workers were done for that day, there was no way to tell they'd been there other than the quality of work and the beautiful landscape taking shape - no messes, no gates left unlocked, etc. The project was completed significantly faster than I thought it would and the end result was amazing. I would definitely work with Grounds Keeper again and recommend them if you want a contractor that works fast, respects your property, and gets you results immediately.

Roof completed by E&W Precision Roofing yesterday...Back story: Subsequent to a storm event I…read morenoticed some shingles in my yard and some lifted shingles on my roof. Roof was in the neighborhood of 20 yrs old...I contacted our home owners insurance company to report it...The insurance company's field inspector took a look, and it was deemed that the roof qualified for a replacement through my insurance. I was walking the dog one night and discussing my roof situation with my neighbor and he mentioned to me that he had the number of a project manager named Benjamin and they had worked together on a few roofing replacement projects, as my neighbor has a few investment properties...I reached out to Benjamin and he come to my home, walked the roof, and assured me he would be able to work with my insurance company to handle the process. Benjamin reviewed the different roofing material options with us and once we selected a shingle color, he used the Hover app to provide a rendition of what the home would look like with the new roof. Materials for the roof were delivered the night ahead of the installation date. The day of installation the crew arrived around 8 am and started staging their tools and equipment. By around 10 am the old shingles were removed, the plywood inspection was complete, and the ice and water shield was being installed. The crew worked safely and efficiently. I had concerns over our shrubs and flower bed but they took the necessary precautions and tarps to ensure that none of the landscaping was impacted by the project. A crew member was assigned to clean up around the house the whole day to make sure that there were no wrappers, shingles, scraps, or nails left laying around (used magnet wand). The Owner of E&W (Wally) came by 3-4x during the day just to ask how things were going and if I was satisfied with the progress of the work. Benjamin, the project manager was there throughout. E&W was even accommodating when I made the request the day of the project to change the drip edge color from white to cream...Benjamin went to a local roofing supply house and got the color I wanted and came back quickly so as not to cause a hiccup in workflow for the crew. I can't say enough with how impressed I was with the installation crew, the foreman "Flacco", and project manager (Ben). Very happy with the final product (Owens Corning Black Sable) and how it makes the house stand out from the adjacent homes on the block. The roofing installation market is competitive. There are a bunch of contractors in the area, but I def recommend reaching out to E&W (Ask for Benjamin) if you are contemplating a roof replacement project or need a roofing repair. I found E&W to be competent as far as the installation, upfront when describing what to expect, and very tidy, leaving your home as it was prior to the work being completed.
