The supply of gift bags, gift boxes, gift baskets, ribbon, tulle, drawstring gift bags and more are beyond any hobby store within 30 miles. Everything for gift wrapping/packaging or party favor presentation is here. My only reason for lacking the 5th star is the warehouse appearance that spares ambience and a heater led me to believe the prices would compare to the Dollar Store. It's not the cheapest, it compares to Michael's and Hobby Lobby except it has many more options.

This location may not be the "prettiest" or Marie Kondo organized, but let me tell you, they have some real treasures. Anything you could possibly want for wrapping materials. Its like a gift givers paradise. Ribbon, bows, cookie boxes with display inserts..... ALL types of colors and confetti. I mean.... and the gift wrap paper? Let's talk about the wrapping paper. Sure, it's not Dollar Store pricing. One might think, 5.00 for a roll of wrapping paper? Absurd! But when you start to unfold it, and crease it, and start to wrap..... you see the quality of this packaging. Quality IS everything and the gift is really in the details. If you want to level up your wrapping, packaging, surprising, gratitude gift giving game..... check out "Wrapped All Up"! Oh, and say hi to Cooper, the friendly ol' dog that will linger around as in house security.

This was my first time in this location. I found them on the map when I was googling craft supply…read morestores in the area. We were coming from Aerojet way and this was the closest store. It's located behind the Target Shopping Center off of Zinfandel. So conveniently located off the freeway which is so good for people on the go. They are located in a strip mall, with lots of parking. It's a private lot for the entire strip mall. We got a space right up front which was nice. I was wearing heels and I didn't want to walk farther than I needed to. Soon as we walked in we were greeted by a sales associate. We asked where the yarn and needles were and she gave us the isle numbers and pointed us in the right direction. We quickly found the yarn section and there were so many variety. We picked some brown variegated, a small skein. It was the cheapest variety that they sold. We were tying a quilt so didn't need any of the fancy stuff and boy did they sell fancy. All different materials and weights and sizes of skeins. Next we looked for needles and they were exactly at the isle the sales associate told us it would be. We first saw only one variety, the ones for generic sewing. Then we kept looking and found the curved ones for quilting and the straight ones with the big eyes for quilting. We bought a pack of both just to make sure we had the right ones. I didn't want to get one and wish I had gotten the other and then have to trek back. We don't have a Michael's where I live so it would have been a trek. We ended up using the curved ones. I've never used them before and they were magical. So much easier then the straight ones. They did the work for you. Check out was smooth. We were second in line and the guy in front of us was quick. The price was pricy and we didn't use a coupon. I didn't think till now to google their 40% off one item coupon that they always have. Oh well we got what we needed and the project was a success.

Came here to look. One staff said it's in the back row. It was a messy clearance aisle with boxes and crap everywhere. Another staff said it's probably not in the floor.

My friend purchased a sign-in book for the ceremony and wanted her husband's name on the front. My friend asked me if I could write it nicely, or if I knew anyone who could. In that instance, you know you should entrust that kind of thing to an expert, and Ana is an expert. She responded very promptly and had questions that put me at ease immediately: what was the book made of? Was it something porous? Going back and forth with a grieving family was slow-going, but Ana was patient and communicative, even with the tight turnaround. She was clear and upfront about what we should expect, and the price for her work was very reasonable. And the finished product was lovelier than I could have imagined. It was thoughtfully placed and even packaged beautifully. My friend loved the book so much and was so happy with the result. The whole experience was so positive and easy that I won't hesitate to add calligraphy to any special events that come along, because of Ana. Thank you Ana, for helping this grieving family!

Cali Quilt Co - Yes. This is amazing gold cork fabric. Pricey!!! But worth the cost! I bought 1/2 a yard. I have never seen this before! Fabulous! Julie A

The store is filled with beautiful fabrics, lots of sewing, quilting & embroidery machines, a wall of minke, rows of threads and a very cool button area. I came in to see one of the owners, Joe Singer, who showed me how to work my new Little Rebel baby long arm machine, that I bought at the Reno Quilt Show in June 2026. This was a fantastic Five Star customer service experience because he really took time in teaching me about my new machine. I don't feel scared now to go back to Reno, and turn it on and start to try it out. I have never owned a long arm but you have to try new things to learn new things. I did get to stitch out a doggie paw and some cool circles patterns. I also bought the most beautiful cork fabric with gold sparkles...pricey but worth it. Also, I bought minke hot wheels fabric that I will make into a blanket for my little grandson. He loves hot wheels. Also, Cali Quilt Co has just expanded to another area next to their store, and they will be holding classes and quilt retreats very soon..I can't wait! I am a beginning sewer & quilter, and I purchased this really adorable quilt of the month block. It looks like a watering can, but it is a house....what? I also chose a very cool flower button from their button area, to add to my finished design as the door knob of my little watering can house. I am so excited to see if I can complete this block of the month. They have already made 3 of the many cool house blocks for this cute house quilt. Go check it out. Again, thank you to the great staff for cutting my fabric and helping me with my new discount card. I have already earned 5 stars. Yea! I wish had the pleasure to met Yavya, the other owner, but I just missed her. Next time! Cali Quilt Co is opened from 9:00 to 7:00 pm except Sundays I think. Wow! I wish they would expand to Reno. If you are wanting to learn to sew, quilt or take some cool classes, I suggest you check out this beautiful five star fabric and quilting store. I truly felt happy when I walked in and felt happier with all of my new fabrics and quilt block pattern & little button, when I walked out. It was worth the 2 hour drive to see this store. See you all again soon. Julie A
