Where to start? Really cute inside. The food and drinks were good. I had the mimosa flight, a chicken caprese salad and the crab Mac n cheese. The mimosas were good. The salad was just okay. Definitely not a traditional caprese because there was not a speck of basil or balsamic glaze in sight. Also served with cucumbers. The chicken was lacking in flavor and a small portion. Also, the menu completely had caprese spelled incorrectly. I feel if you call yourself a bistro you should at least be aware of the correct spelling of food you serve. The crab Mac n cheese was good, however the kitchen completely forgot to add the ritz Parmesan crust that the menu listed. I was able to get a side of it and mix it in at least. The menu also listed a side of coleslaw which I never received. Now for the bad. We had a reservation and the service was soooo slow. I understand being short staffed, etc but it was frustrating. Gratuity was added to our bill since we had a larger group, however the server took the itemized receipts upon returning our cards. This felt sketchy because you were prompted to tip on your card with the receipt you needed to sign and leave with the waitress. If you hadn't read your initial bill she left you wouldn't have any idea that a tip was already added. Luckily I noticed so I was able to inform my fellow guests. Also, there is a 3% credit card fee added to your bill if you pay with a card. Seems a little outdated and like a money grab. Overall, I'd probably not go out of my way to come back. Felt like a lot of hype for little return which was disappointing. This seemed like my kind of spot. Nonetheless it's an hour away from my home as it is. read more

Previously submitted a review here although I have no idea WHY it did not post? Wife and I were a bit disappointed ordering a dinner and salad to share. Both items were brought out at the same time even though we requested the salad first. Salad was sparse with ingredients and the macaroni and cheese was only okay . I came here with my friend, we had a blast. Had a few cocktails and played some board games. Highly recommend as a meeting place and the service was phenomenal. We didn't get to eat, but the food looked delicious. Maybe next time. read more

SERVICE We love the agitated Grape, probably come 3-5 times a month. Our server today, luckily I don't have her name little blonde girl, sat us told her we wanted Dinner and ordered our drinks, waited 10 minutes for those and ordered our food, 15 minutes go by and she decides to tell us (empty drinks) that they turned off the Mac and cheese my wife ordered. So she decides to not eat. ANOTHER 15 MINUTES GOES BY AND THEN SHE DECIDES TO TELL US THE SPEGHETTI I ORDERED WAS ALSO JUST TURNED OFF, 1 HOUR OF WAITING NEITHER OF US GOT ANY FOOD when we said we ARE having dinner. Amazing wine bar w/some amazing looking small plates. They also had a fun selection of wine cocktails. Great stop for happy hour after work or even a first/blind date meet up spot. Loved that all there wines are MI made & they support local. Even better that bottles of what we sampled were available for purchase, which was awesome since I've been to a few of the wineries they source from & they don't always distribute to stores in my area. I wanted to amend my review and take away another star. To add insult to the fact that they charged me a service fee for using my credit card, they also report the charge as shopping instead of dining. This meant that I didn't even receive my 2 point/dollar bonus the card gives me for dining purchases. Between that and the deceptive practice of not telling me about the service fee, I will definitely not be returning. read more

First time here, though I have wanted to try it since it popped up. The atmosphere is great. Very antique industrial and modern just like a Michigan wine bar should be. They had a great selection of ALL Michigan wines so it was nice that they strive to keep it local. Also I wasn't even aware that some of the places featured made wine so kudos for the lesson. The choices for flights was five or three and you can order by the glass and bottle which is nice now that I found a Cabernet I really enjoyed. They have a good and charcuterie menu though I had already eaten so I cannot review that portion but I will next time for certain. There was live music and for such a little place the acoustics were actually really good. It happened to be bike night though there wasn't a bike in site. I feel like they could host one of those painting parties there and do well instead just based on the demographic while I visited. All in all it was a great first experience with a very attentive wine tender. It's a good way for wine beginners to figure out what their palette enjoys. read more

Really enjoyed this place. Nice selection of Michigan made wines. They also have beer and whiskey as well, all of which you can make a flight out of. Definitely a fan of the charcuterie boards, who doesn't love cheese!? Went with my wife. We tried the gourmet pizza and it was really tasty. Nice wine selection. Beer was good, but only 4 choices. Had an event and it was pretty busy. Atmosphere and help were nice. Could have used another person working the floor though because it slowed service a bit. read more

Very nice building. Nice atmosphere. Went there for open mic. A glass of wine was $8.00. Sorry that is ridiculous. This is Davison. I refuse to pay $8.00 for a glass of wine especially there. Hopefully management sees this review and does something about the price of a glass of wine. I have never paid $8.00 for a glass of wine anywhere. I will never go back there. This is a Wine Bar dedicated to Michigan Wines. Having toured many Michigan wineries, my wife and I were impressed with the fine selection of wines that are being served here. The fact that they serve the wines in "flights" is a great way to sample many of the wines that Michigan has to offer. Sampling wines at the Agitated Grape is much more convenient than having to travel to each individual winery. The service was excellent. Additionally, we had the opportunity to meet, and talk Michigan wines, with Owner Angela. We also enjoyed one of their charcuterie boards along with our wine selections. Hopefully they will hold some tasting events, and invite the owners from some of the wineries to come in and present their wines. We will be back, and are recommending this place to our wine-loving friends. read more
