So when I am thinking about a taxi company I'm thinking about a company that's local that provides good service with good drivers and decent vehicles. When I went looking for a taxi company in Scottsdale I immediately noticed that Scottsdale Cab company had plenty of reviews and that they had been around for quite some time and had a track record of providing good service. I felt that would be the safest route to take and boy was I right. The taxi that arrived was clean the driver was very well dressed and polite and the car actually got to my residence about 15 minutes early. The driver knocked on my door and assisted me with my luggage and we got to the airport with plenty of time to spare. And just so you know I gave the driver a huge tip because I really appreciate the excellent service that I received from Scottsdale Cab Company.

They had plenty of water and ice on board and they greeted us with birthday balloons and a carpet for the birthday girl to enter the vehicle. There were only 10 of us along with a cooler that we brought and some food but it could've easily have accommodated 18 to 20. This business could not have been any easier to deal with. First time was in August 2016 to go to the airport after business travel. My driver was incredible friendly and made the ride enjoyable. The second time was two days ago. I asked my hotel front desk to call a cab for me to the airport. The guy at the front desk either couldn't figure out how to call a cab or what, but I waited and waited for whoever he called (getting anxious the whole time because I might miss my flight). While he tried to assure me for 30 minutes that he knew what he was doing...and that my cab would be there IN ANOTHER 30 MINUTES I broke my politeness and said I'd call my own. The discount cab woman on the phone was incredibly nice and understanding. I told her the situation about my flight and she immediately bumped me to the top of the list. My discount cab was there in UNDER 5 MINUTES. Then once again I had a very friendly driver who made great conversation for the entire ride. This company is wonderful and gets the job done while having fun drivers. I will always call them when I'm in Phoenix on business.

I like that airports still have this option for people who would rather just hail down a cab like back in the day. Yellow Cab has gotten me home numerous occasions, all safe rides and incredible how so many of the cab drivers know the roads without GPS. Kind of impressive. Sometimes cabs can be cheaper than rideshare if there is a surge happening. I like to mix up my travel just to try to other options out and to not get so stuck in certain ways of doing things. Hassan (sp?), an older man, greeted me right away and offered to help me with my bags. His cab was very clean with a bottle of hand sanitizer available to his guests. Before we started to drive off, he put on a mask, which I appreciated - especially during this covid pandemic. When asked, he was wonderful about describing the areas I pointed out on the way to my destination. I arrived to my destination and my exit was quick and easy. A receipt was provided. Later that day, our group of 4 had to get to another destination in Scottsdale. We contacted both Uber and Lyft and were quoted 23-28 minutes. With 2 tweens in tow, we thought it would be fun to see which driver would show up first. After several attempts with different drivers of each company, waiting in the Arizona 100+ degree heat outside for 45+ mins, we gave up and went back inside. Once inside, I found my VIP Taxi receipt and called. They assured me they would send a taxi immediately. I asked if they could give us notice when they were 10 mins away so we could have time to head down to the lobby before they arrived and they agreed.
