The signing agent calls me high out of her mind on Tuesday night, I let it go to voicemail because the number wasn't recognized and out of state. After the signing agent left me a voicemail I called back. She answered I stated my name, she said oh yes you're the one signing for the 190,000 dollar check right? Wrong You just called me five mins ago, I'm the guy closing on a refi on Friday! She's clearly out of it and doesn't know what I'm talking about! And then it hits here a few mins later, no doubt in my mind she was higher than the Empire State Building! Thursday night I get an email from old republic at 8pm with a Fedex label to overnight the cash to close for tomorrow at 9am FRIDAY ROLL'S AROUND, YAY CLOSING DAY!!!!!! So I was supposed to close at 9 am, and i got a call at 830, telling me the notary would be there at 9 sharp, i get a missed call at 850 and return the call at, 857, the notary answered but didn't say anything. 937 I call back and get sent to voicemail. So I call the title company, wait on hold for 20 mins, when the phone was answered, I asked what was going on? I was informed that the notary came to the house on address and was sexually accosted!!!!! Someone claiming to be me tried to LURE her behind a decrepit BARN! ‍‍‍‍ She never showed up to my address. Better yet she didn't even call the cops! WTF!!! I had to call to file a police report, because everything seemed so Sketchy. They asked me if I was still willing to close, I said yes, they told me they would call me with a time shortly. A few hours pass, and no call, I undoubtedly have more questions about what is going on so I call back, talk to a new person this time and she tells me that they are escalating the case to a supervisor, and they were in a meeting and would call me back! Another few hours go by and still haven't received a phone call! So I call again, and the person transferred me to Nicole, who I was told is usually "pretty good" at returning phone calls! I suppose that's quite the issue with these people! After a few more hours I get a call from my loan organizer, stating that he had got two emails from Nicole one was about rescheduling, and one was about having me sign a statement saying I would not have what happened happen again!!! like I said, She never came here, come to find out from the sheriff, the Notary supposedly showed up to the wrong address, but was not very helpful with the police investigation. The sheriff's deputy, came by and told me that it was a wrong address and the place the notary showed up to was a senile older man who made improper advances on her, she drove straight home. Well this Notary is driving around with quite a bit of sensitive material of mine, I want to know what happened to my paperwork, but nobody will return my phone calls and act like this isn't a big deal! I'm extremely pissed off and at a dead end! My advice run from old republic title! They are the worst!!!!! GARBAGE! WORST OF THE WORST! I ACTUALLY HAVE TO PAY THESE MORONS!!!! I wouldn't recommend OLD REPUBLIC if they offered me a million dollars!

Not a very reputable agent in our opinion. The woman that works in the front answering the phones…read moreand relays information to the agents is a liar. Our most recent experience with her, I called to confirm that our letters of discontinuation of coverage with them had been received, she told me they had and all was taken care of and no monies would be pulled from our bank account and the home owners wouldn't be collected for from our mortgage company. One week later, we received a letter in the mail from our mortgage company stating that we had "2" policies with "2" companies, they paid for both out of our escrow account and would be changing our mortgage payment to reflect the shortage! I then checked our bank account only to find out that they had also pulled the auto insurance payment and all because of her lies and incompetence! This just being the icing on the cake after other instances of incompetencey and lies from this agents office! We carried insurance with Farmers through this agent for 11 years and only ever had 1 claim that was a not at fault that Farmers only paid 20% of the claim, no moving violations ever and all that was ever done is our rates increased dramatically over the years. Our auto rates have doubled in that time as well as the home owners and considering that our new insurance company and agent is charging about 1/2 of what Richard Beck is charging for the exact same coverage for auto and approximately 25% less on the home owners we are left believing that we were being taken advantage of and the agent was just lining his pockets! I ended up calling Farmers directly and taking care of the problem so I'm not sure why we were ever paying an agent to begin with!
