One thing that was disorienting - in an effort (presumably) to keep employees cool - they've got the place sort of boarded up - it's hard to tell if they are open for business or not despite the neon sign - which I couldn't see until I looked at my photo! :-) As we sat beside the booth, we noticed other people were also confused about whether they were open or not - so not just us that are clueless. Need to ensure employees are visible from outside somehow to improve the appearance. Would I return: Yes. I ordered a hot fudge Sundae, no nuts and no cherry (please) with hard ice cream. An older gentleman was serving. He made a joke, "no whipped cream too?". I laughed an said "lots of whipped cream please". He then proceeded to make a sundae with alot of nuts. I gently reminded him for no nuts. He then hands me a sundae with virtually no fudge and with a cherry. I request more fudge and no cherry. Pictured is the final product. The 10-year old in the group was disappointed with her cone. It's hard to make a 10 year old not like an ice cream cone. This isn't the first time we've had issues with this place. These flavour ideas are delicious! Some I've never heard of - like crab apple, and sea buckthorn which was so fruity and tasty! They openly offer samples of whatever you would like to try. The menu changes every week, so there's always something new to try. Pints are also available in the freezer for self-serve. They also offer coffee and hot chocolate (for those who fear cold foods in cold weather? Hahaha) No need to rush off! Don't forget to check out the back patio!
