This place is tucked away with a couple of other hotels and ski-focused businesses. Our room was nice and large, including the bathroom. You were able to see the mountains from our room window. Since it was near the end of the tourist season, there weren't very many people staying there. Additionally, they have a parking garage at the bottom of the building which requires a code to access. They also had a restaurant and bar that we didn't take advantage of since the bar is only opened seasonally. There was a rec room with TV, pool table, foosball table, and piano. My only problem with this hotel was there was no air conditioning. I understand that most of the time a/c is not required given the area but it would have been useful. Having the window open didn't fully cool down the room. There was a box fan in the room, but it was so loud, you wouldn't be able to sleep it with it on. I liked where this place was located as it was near some walking trails. Also the stray dog cantina is right across the street (you can see my review). I will definitely consider staying here again and would recommend it to others.

Ample parking, the shared hot tub is open air and very nice and clean. The location is fantastic, extremely east and fast access to the lifts/ski mountain. Finally the staff is wonderful: extremely helpful and friendly, we were able to arrive early and check out late AND they contacted us when they found an item mistakenly left behind.

The progressive teaching approach ensured that our son, along with his fellow students, developed their skills steadily. By the end of the day, they were confidently riding up the Gondolina, pointing their skis to stop quickly, making strong turns, and enjoying a thrilling ski run down the hill. I started looking for a place to stay in Taos and the hotel in ski resort caught my attention. Yes, almost 30 minutes drive from downtown was a bit of dilemma, but deep inside I knew spending a day in ski resort during summer is one of the best decisions. The front desk was extremely helpful, they reached out to me first arranging my late check In. I felt immediately welcomed and I could not wait to go there! The rooms were so clean, spotless and comfortable, they have a patio with bbq, sauna and jacuzzi. The mountain air filled my soul, it was so fresh and pure, the water at the resort itself was very tasty. We also ended up visiting Williams lake. I recommend this place 100000000000%. Parking is relatively close (a 3 minute walk) and it's pretty much ski-in/ski-out (it's a 2 minute walk to the lifts)! And there is a coffee shop, market (grocery), and a couple bars/restaurants all within a 2 minute walk! Staff is friendly, although not always around... so get what you need while they are there during daytime hours! Travis T. and I had a loft room... and after I saw the steep climb up the ladder to the loft, I wisely let him have the loft (I had a torn meniscus, so I had to rest it... for some long days of skiing!). The pull-out sofa bed wasn't the most comfortable, but I learned to switch sides every night to maximize my sleep experience. I would stay here again next time in Taos! *****FIVE STARS*****

There is a full kitchen, which my mom took full advantage of, equipped with a wine cellar. Once we moved the furniture around a bit, the place was large enough to handle 5 adults and two hyper little boys with all their Christmas presents. I was excited about what they call a "European" shower, but it was not as great as hyped up to be. My nephews although enjoyed the jet tub. The whole living space has a beautiful Southwest Rustic feel. All in all the living accommodations were wonderful. Extras: -Hot Tub (much needed after skiing and the freezing weather) -Ski in and Ski out ability, but if you want to get to the village there is a shuttle running most of the time which will come pick you up where every you want. They were always super friendly. -Discounts on ski rentals - Breathtaking views of the snowy mountains Suggestions: -All wheel or 4 wheel drive is needed to get to this place, unless you want to walk (or shuttle) from the bottom of the mountain. -Don't run up the hill. Elevation + below zero weather + Christmas dinner do not make for a pleasant run.
