Lamb Burger (comes with 2 patties, blue cheese and dressed arugula)
    Dayaneruh L.

Our food was SO good! My husband got the harlot burger medium and it was dripping juicy. He devoured it so fast. I had the lamb burger. If you eat lamb frequently you already know restaurants mix it with beef and still charge you for lamb. Not here. The blue cheese on it was melty and soft and not overpowering. The fries were so crispy but still soft inside. The best fries I've ever had. I got the Bloody Mary and I will say it could've been a little stronger however, my husband got the spicy marg and it was 10/10. The rim on the spicy marg was like a spicy, smoky, chili, salty blend that tasted so good. We did go when it was very busy so it was a little slow, as to be expected. I'd definitely recommend a reservation and not a last minute "hey let's try this" if you want to be seated fast. Overall good experience. We don't live in the area but if we come back we'd be back (with reservations) for the food.

This warm and welcoming venue is the perfect addition to the downtown Columbus area. We were greeted at the door and seated. The inside decor is beautiful and homely. All of the ingredients are fresh and each dish is made to order. I loved the flavor off all of the dishes along with the generous portions .

First time in Columbus, Georgia, and one of the biggest recommendations to have great food was this place. I'm not kidding you when I say this place is amazing ..so good that we came for lunch on Thursday and for brunch on Sunday amazing the menus do change during the weekend with brunch. Drinks are very good as well.

Valentine's date with the cutest guy ever- proceeded to have probably the best chicken and waffles! It was a bourbon/peach chicken and waffles, and the absolute perfect sweet and savory combo. I was worried it would be too sweet or overpowering, but it was so delicious- the combination of flavors all went so well. The pimento crab dip was also incredibly addicting, it was so delicious, this is a MUST get. Had a mimoso and boyfriend had an Irish Coffee. We had the best time- the food was incredible, the atmosphere was so cute and cozy! Our server was incredibly kind and attentive. They did forget our pimento crab dip, which was absolutely not a problem cause they were busy, but immediately went to get it out and was complimentary- we definitely tipped big, was so kind. I'll have to come back here when I visit again :)

Came for brunch on a Sunday morning! We got there about 30 minutes after they opened and it was already packed. We were quickly greeted and sat at the bar. The bartender was extremely tentative and patient as I had no idea what I wanted. Eventually he helped me decide on the French toast, which was ABSOLUTELY delicious. I ate every last bite. Every time I'm in Columbus, a trip to Animal Farm is a must! The service is always great and I've never not loved anything I've tried off the menu.

Redfish. A light combo with a hint of pepper, cream sauce. Very yum.

Go today if you can. It's that good. I'm certain everything they serve is absolutely delicious- even things I don't like. Here's what we had: Pimento crab dip- sort of like crab stuffed mushroom filling, without the pesky mushrooms. Spicy w crispy cracker topping. So good. Harlot Burger- a solid bite. Needed nothing more. Hearty and delicious w tots on the side. Butternut squash pasta- a perfectly reasonable portion (not huge) with the most delicious sauce, and a spicy tomato topping that cut through so well. I tried to eat it all, but the crab dip... Redfish- also an amazing bite with veggies, a delicious cream sauce touch and a lightly spicy pepper. This was cooked so well - the outside was perfectly crisped, inside was light and yum. We took not one pic so these came from the site, can vouch this was how everything looked. Cozy little spot. We went for lunch, would also be great for dinner. We are back in a few months and will be returning!

We visited while in town for work. We loved the deviled eggs with the little pickled veggies. Great dish. I also loved the crab soup. The pigs in blankets were just ok. The star of the night was the cocktails by bartender Drew. We stayed much longer than planed having a second and 3rd round. This man is a beverage artist. I had the best Negroni Bianca. He had to improvise a little for ingredients he didn't have, but he managed to nail the flavor profile and make it even better. He also impressed my husband with a couple different drinks.

Great food and ambience. Sat at bar and enjoyed watching Will and Drew make drinks. Deviled eggs delish. The blueberry pudding outstanding.

Day 2 in Columbus GA and we decided to try out The Animal Farm. We got there at a perfect time. The staff were excellent. I loved the atmosphere. It was bright and wasn't crazy loud which I loved since this was our first meal with our soldier. Their menu has something for everyone. I decided to go with Pigs in a Blanket for the appetizer (so so good!) and the Butternut Squash Pasta. We also got the Chicken Sammie and Chicken Fried Chicken. The Pigs in a Blanket was right up my alley. Puff pastry with spicy sausage, maple mustard aioli and berry conserva so delicious. It's an acquired taste. Two of us loved it and the other two were like uh....ok. The flavors all together were "chef's kiss". My butternut squash pasta was amazing. So flavorful and cooked to perfection. I had enough left for dinner that night as well. So yummy! The Chicken Sammie is HUGE so had an appetite. The chicken fried chicken portion is huge as well. We had tons of food to take home. So far it's been my favorite meal during our stay!!!!!

I liked the name of the restaurant and when I looked online, I liked the menu. We didn't have to wait for a table by the window. James was our waitstaff. He came over immediately with waters and asked if we'd like anything else to drink. He left us with menus and specials of the day. I wanted to get something I wouldn't get at home. So I ordered from the 10/8/25 specials menu: the TURKEY BRIE SAMMY (oven roasted turkey, toasted white bread, housemade cranberry jam, pears, arugula, brie, dijon mayo). It came with a side so I ordered tater tots. Husband ordered the wedge salad with just lettuce, bacon bits and ranch dressing. Our food was delicious! I shared my tots with Husband who loved them as much as I did. He didn't finish his wedge. It was huge! We ordered a peanut butter pie to split. It was the best we have had in a long time! We hope to return in the future for the wonderful food, atmosphere and service.

Got a table on the back patio after about a ten minute wait for 5 people on a Friday afternoon. Staff was friendly and helpful! Loved the jalapeños in the watermelon salad, it was very balanced and I loved every bite.

We were seated in the booth next to the entrance. By that time there were many empty tables and lunch service was winding down. The bar remained full of what seemed to be regulars, based on interactions with staff. Despite groups of servers busing tables (4 servers and a hostess bussing a 2-top in front of us) and constantly walking by it was over 15 min before a server approached us. With the claim of "best burger in the south" we ordered 5 burgers and 1 hamburger steak. It took 40 min to receive our food. The crinkle-cut fries were very good. The burgers were large. We ordered at least one of every burger on the menu and nine lives up to the designation of best burger in the South. Every burger was overcooked and the buns were large but dry and crumbling. You must ask for condiments to dress your own burgers. Pickles, lettuce and onions are on the side. Bacon was thick and cooked perfectly. The pimento cheese was plentiful. The hamburger steak was a slice of meatloaf with onions and gravy, "nothing special". After receiving our food we did not see our waiter again (refills, condiments, etc) until we asked for out check. We were unable to get water refills during our meal but to-go waters were offered with the check. There is outdoor seating with umbrellas. Several TVs throughout the establishment. The menu offered a good number of options. With a large number of high-top tables, large bar and multiple TVs thiabwas a more casual atmosphere

The combo appetizer included sweet potato fries, mozzarella sticks, wings, and nachos. The nachos…read morewere pretty basic--nothing special, no real cheese, barely any toppings. They honestly don't need to be on the menu. The mozzarella sticks were surprisingly flavorful with a nice crunch, but they came with way too much breading and only three of them, which felt stingy and odd. They definitely should've included more. The sweet potato fries had decent flavor but were under-salted (as fries almost always need after frying) and came out a bit limp and sad-looking. The hot wings weren't labeled as boneless or bone-in on the menu, but they turned out to be boneless--which is fine. They were a good size, but the "hot" sauce was extremely mild. It needs way more heat to live up to the name. Now, the ranch... this ranch is incredible. It's creamy, deeply flavored, and has the perfect amount of dill--it's practically divine. I could rave about this ranch all day. The Zombie drink comes in a cool skull glass (limited to one per person), but it's basically 99% ice with very little actual drink. I could barely taste any alcohol--maybe I have a high tolerance--but the flavor was solid. Still, it's pretty pricey for mostly ice. The John Denver cocktail also looked great in its presentation, but again, mostly ice. Thankfully, the flavor matched the menu description exactly, which was a pleasant surprise. The patty melt was solid overall, but it needed more salt and pepper for seasoning. My egg was overcooked (fully hard yolk instead of the runny one I was hoping for to ooze over the patty). The avocado was only on one half of the sandwich, which seemed strange. I'd have preferred a slightly thicker patty too, but I do appreciate that it came on Texas toast--even though the menu didn't mention it. All patty melts should use Texas toast. I added a side salad, which looked nicely artisanal, and--once again--that amazing ranch took it to another level. The regular fries that came with the Rodeo Burger aren't regular at all--they're battered and had great flavor and crisp structure. They were excellent... except for the missing finishing salt that every great fry deserves. The Rodeo Burger itself was cooked perfectly, but like the patty melt, the patties needed more salt and pepper. The egg was again overcooked (hard yolk). Beyond that, the flavors worked well, though the jalapeños were surprisingly mild and lacked punch. The bacon was spot-on--not underdone, not overcooked, just the right chew without being tooth-breaking. Overall, the food has potential, but seasoning (especially salt) is consistently missing, and a few portions/quality details could use attention. That ranch, though? Absolute standout

The table shared some deviled eggs. The pickled onions on the deviled eggs was so good. Everyone dipped their fries in the chili crisp oil and agreed it was one of the best flavor combos of the trip. Our server gave us an extra side of it and gave my friend a side of kimchi to add to his burger. Just great all around service and vibe. The hostess was warm and efficient, seating us immediately. Our server approached with the quiet confidence of someone who knows her craft--she was direct, professional, and all business in the best possible way. Even as closing time drew near, she kept my glass refreshed without needing to be asked, a small but telling detail that spoke volumes about her attentiveness. The space itself strikes a pleasant semi-formal note--clean, polished, and respectful without veering into stuffy territory. Behind the bar, the bartender was meticulously wiping down every bottle, a quiet display of care that set a tone of genuine pride in the operation. We began with a dozen oysters: six raw and six char-grilled. The raw specimens were on the petite side for the price, yet delivered a clean, bright, and pleasantly saline flavor that let the oyster speak for itself. The char-grilled version arrived with a savory Parmesan crust that brought its own appealing character--rich, cheesy, and nicely caramelized in a way that felt unique rather than derivative. The crab dip, however, was a standout. Far superior to the often disappointing versions we've encountered elsewhere, this one tasted of genuine lump crab meat, folded into a properly cheesy, indulgent dip that avoided any unfortunate "buffalo" detours. Served with crisp crostini, each bite was balanced and deeply satisfying--an authentic crab dip done right. The Korean cheesesteak offered an excellent harmony of flavors: tender, well-seasoned meat beneath a luxurious blanket of melted cheese, punctuated by the bright, spicy kick of kimchi and the refreshing snap of pickles. It was delicious, though for the price, I wished for a more generous filling and a bit more heft to the sandwich overall. The mac & cheese arrived in a commendably generous portion, with a beautiful Parmesan crust on top. Visually appealing, the dish unfortunately fell a touch flat on the palate. The noodles were properly cooked and coated in a creamy sauce, yet it lacked the depth and seasoning one hopes for-- a pinch more salt and pepper would have elevated it considerably. The fish and chips presented a towering mound of fries that carried decent flavor but lacked the shattering crispness one craves. The real disappointment lay in the presentation of the fish: two fillets stacked atop one another, causing the steaming heat to turn the once-promising breading soggy and prone to sliding off. That said, the fish itself was excellent--flaky, moist, and delicately sweet with a lovely buttery quality. It was the unfortunate interaction between steam and crust that kept the dish from greatness. The roads were a little dense, so not necessarily my particular style, but I'm good. The butter that came with them was very unique to say the least. To drink, both beers arrived filled to the absolute brim and proved so enjoyable that I would gladly order them again without hesitation. Overall, the evening delivered solid, thoughtful plates in a well-run environment, with several bright spots that make a return visit tempting--particularly for those oysters and that excellent crab dip.
