All staff is great. My chi Louie had a serious problem with bladder stones. Dr. Randy refused to believe it was a urinary problem. On his own time with no cost to me he found a specialist to do a ct scan. To make a long story short after 2 major surgeries Dr. Randy got his answers. Set us to a doctor who was qualified to do a special surgery. Louie is fine now! Dr Randy saved my babies life. Love this place and highly recommend it!! read more

Our 17 yr old dog was put on prescription dog food by Royal Canin but the vet office says we must purchase from them. They would not authorize Chewy to fill our order. Of course, the vet office is very overpriced. We'll find a different vet who actually cares. GO ELSEWHERE! read more

We have brought all of our pets to this facility over the last 20+ years, but sadly, our last pet had passed on over 3 years ago and we had been pet-less since! Then we rescued an abandoned baby kitty (Pumpkin Socks!) and adopted another beauty (Toby!) from the humane society. So.... i can't even express how happy I am that we decided to return to Animalife for the care of our new fur babies! Everyone at the front desk has been so helpful and kind. Sue especially went out of her way to try to help me get Toby's paperwork from the humane rescue... she didn't have to do that! Melissa was super helpful the first time I reached out about making an appt for the abandoned Pumpkin. Everyone has been extremely helpful and professional. I know that Doctors' credentials are very important when we are 'shopping' around for a vet... but, IMO, so is the administrative/front desk staff. They are the voices and the faces that we see as the first point of contact...and if they don't set the atmosphere, or extend the welcome, then I would go somewhere else. At Animalife, the front desk rocks! ..and so did the doctors i saw! It was a pleasure seeing Dr. Eisel again. Hearing the calm reassurance from him regarding some test results about little Pumpkin. I also got to meet 2 other new vets (new to me) and I am looking forward to continuing the care of my new babies with all of them. read more

This veterinarian/owner has the capability to have a 5 star office but right now it is 1 star. I made an appointment with the veterinarian/owner. I stated that I am driving a distance to come to his office & wanted to make sure I can schedule my dog's surgery specifically with him. He assured me I could. Dropped dog off & stated I was there for surgery with that specific vet. Received call to pick up dog. When the tech brought her out, I pointed to the catheter still attached to leg (4 hrs post being called). After tech removed catheter, I asked her to help me with onesie (cone alternative). She stated she didn't need it but I noticed an 1 inch area on top of incision that was bleeding when I put her in the car. She had two small cuts in the same area under each arm and a larger one at the top of her arm that has left a scar. I noticed the paperwork stated the surgery was done by a different vet & that this vet had phoned me to go over medications. That was a false claim. I never received a call from any vet or any update on my dog's surgery. I work in healthcare & false statements on a report are a red flag. My dog developed a seroma a few hours post surgery & bleeding continued. I started phoning 2 days after wanting to talk with the vet. I was initially told vet would call me but the office would close & I wouldn't receive a call. The front desk staff are all 5 stars - amazing. Everything you would want. They kept trying to get him to call me back but after 5 days post surgery told me he was "too overwhelmed". The vet that had performed my dog's surgery - NOT the vet I had made the appointment with - was not there. I found out there was a covid outbreak in- office although this was not mentioned to me. The vet tech wasn't wearing a mask or following Covid precautions so the office should be prepared if someone's off sick. I'm extremely upset that I drove this distance for a specific vet; was informed that this vet would be doing my dog's surgery when I dropped her off but a different vet did surgery; did not get update post surgery (although falsified in notes) or speak with the vet when my dog had been bleeding for five days & developed seroma. They had no problem taking the money for surgery but the veterinarian couldn't spend two minutes on the phone to discuss her post surgery problems. Fortunately, Estero has an amazing 24 hour emergency that treated her but a veterinarian should not perform surgery if he refuses to give any post surgery support. He continued to see patients & performed surgeries on the days he was "too overwhelmed" for my my dog with post surgical complications to be seen or even spend two minutes speaking with me. I want to thank the wonderful individuals at the front desk at this veterinarian office. Sadly, I won't be back. read more

Let me start with saying, I've been with this vet office for almost 20 years... This place used to be fantastic but within the last 3 or so years it went downhill fast The front office staff is truly some of the my ignorant and rude people. Saying this is how "things have always been" (no honey you just started working hear a year ago... it hasn't always been like this), not returning phone calls (even though you give them well over a week to reply back to you) Then for the doctors... they all have great hearts it seems like towards your animal but I bring in my dog and nothing can be done for him, "here's some anti inflammatory meds" (my dog can barley walk sometimes..) I go recently take him to a different vet and all of a sudden their is a few options and we started with a injectable (which is fairly cheap supposing and it worked fantastic! Noticed a big difference in just 24 hours!) What really upset me more than anything was I went in for normal lab work and paid for it and waited for results. 2 weeks went by and I still didn't hear anything back so I call and call and the girls uo front don't know where it's at, so like anyone I ask to speak to the Dr. about. (That was the wrong thing to say to them... "the doctor is to busy to be worrying about things like this, we will just have to call you back") it's been 2 weeks... they never called me back. On week 3 I call again furious about to go inside in person COVID or not... (they won't let you inside during covid...) and a lady says, oh yes we lost his lab reports somehow, would you like to schedule and pay for a new appointment to have this done... I had to go out of town unexpectedly and I called Animalife last minute to see if I could board my 2 dachshunds. An angel named Ellen at the boarding desk probably detected the panic in my voice, and like a calming force from above she assured me that they'd be happy to take my pups. I was referred to the clinic by someone who loves the place, unfortunately my experience was very negative. I normally do not write reviews, but had such a bad experience I wanted to share. I am moving across the country and needed a sedative for one of my cats who is extremely anxious travelling in the car. The wait to see the Dr. Monk was over 20 minutes. He quickly told me which sedative he would prescribe, and said it worked well on his dogs. He returned 10 minutes later and said that it would not be a good option for a cat. He had me get out of the room and wait at the front desk, where we were surrounded by dogs. Upon arriving home, I tried the medication on the cat, and after waiting for it to take effect, I took him for a short ride. It had no effect. He then prescribed another medication, which I had to go back and pick up. This one also did not seem to help. I called back and asked to speak to the Dr. I was told it was his day off and that he would call me back the next day. He did not call, but one of the techs left a message saying I could pick up another medication. When I picked it up I noticed that there were not enough pills to try before the trip and have enough for the trip. I was told that it was a controlled substance and that they would not give me any more. I was left feeling that the doctor does not know enough about cats and that me and my cat were not important. read more

Beware of pricing! Animalife has been sold to a corporate while the main vet works there for two years. I had my dog's teeth cleaned in 2018 and it cost $310 which I though was expensive enough. Then, I just had them done and they charged over $550 for the same exact cleaning with no cavities, nothing extra. This is due to corporate pricing - BEWARE! I also had to wait all day to get my dog back and the procedure only takes less than one hour. NOT HAPPY with the changes. read more

I came here because I trapped a feral cat named Fiona to get spayed and the staff was very kind, kept me informed and took good care of the kitty. I love the TNR program because people like this help the poor animals that have been dumThank you!! I was nervous to bring my bunny since bunnies are generally stressed when taken out of their comfort zone. She was long overdue for a nail trim but it's impossible for me to hold her when doing so. My fear was that she would have a heart attack while the Vet and techs held her down to clip her nails but that wasn't the case! Dr. Monk was wonderful. His friendly and patient attitude calmed her down and I know bunnies can't be the easiest to deal with when getting an exam since they're scared. He was able to clip those nails and I feel that she warmed up to him by the end and seemed to enjoy his company! We will be back at the end of the month for blood work. Thank you. read more

So disappointed! My dog was not feeling himself for about a week so we brought him to be checked. Dropped him off for bloodwork and observation. He was obviously jaundiced so we were referred to a critical care vet for ultrasound, which was performed 2 days after. He was diagnosed there with cirrhosis of the liver and a tumor on his kidney. Surgery is not an option. I have called Animalife 3x now for some direction on what to feed him or what medications to give him. I am uneasy and in need of some support. I was told today that the doctor was off on Thursday's and would call me tomorrow. They said the same thing yesterday afternoon, knowing I would not be called if he was going to be off! The doctor had also told me that my dog is overweight, which turns out it is abdominal swelling from the accumulation of fluid due to the liver disease. No one can be blamed for this unfortunate diagnosis, but to not hear from anyone for so long after receiving a poor prognosis is just bad business. read more

I would give 0 stars if I could. Unprofessional front staff, inappropriately long wait times, and expensive rates. All things that can be overlooked when great care is provided to your pet, but you won't find that here either. They gave my dog the wrong injection today when they mixed her up with another client with a similar name. They only confirmed that they made an error when I insisted they double check with the nurse what injection she actually did receive when they tried to ring me up for the wrong injection, and their consolation was a forced apology and "allowing" me not to pay for the wrong injection. When I asked to speak with the doctor to ensure the injection she received would not affect her health negatively, they sent me the manager, who essentially eluded that I checked in my own dog incorrectly (that the girls asked if I was there for vaccines and I said "yes") - which OBVIOUSLY was not the case. To make such a huge error is one thing, but for the manager of the practice to avoid all accountability and try and place the blame on me was the absolute worst move she could have made. For the record, when I walked in, I told the woman my dog's name and why we were there. This is not a new process for me, or the vet, as my dog needs a certain injection every 28 days. One she needs to remain in good health, and one they almost let me leave without confirming she actually received - which, if she hadn't, could have been disastrous. The DR was very understanding of my level of upset, but the myriad of unprofessional agents that you must go through to get to her aren't worth the trouble. My girls are 10 and 12 and we have lived in many areas of the country with the military. This is, hands down, the consistently WORST collection of experiences that we have had with a vet out of anywhere we've lived. Find another vet. read more

I'm very thankful for this place and the people who work here. My cat was very sick and his regular vet wasn't able to see him because they were booked solid. They recommended Animalife and I was so relieved when they told me they had immediate availability. Dr. Monk was very kind and caring with my cat and he helped to reassure me that he would be okay and wanted me to come back if he wasn't better by the next day. Unfortunately, my cat wasn't feeling better after a day and when I called, they were able to see us immediately. What really impressed me was when they called 2 days later to see if my cat was feeling better, and thankfully he was! The doctors and staff are very kind and I plan on taking both of my cats to this center from now on. read more

Unfortunately our first visit to Animallife was a very sad one as we had to put down our Golden Retriever. We were referred here by a friend and we cannot say enough positive things about the staff here. They were very accommodating, compassionate, nice, and completely understanding of what we were going through. Dr. Brian Monk is who we had wait on us, and again he was great. He got right on the floor with Maddux, made him feel comfortable and relaxed and fully explained to us what he was doing. We have another dog and cat and will now be transferring their care to Animallife after our experience yesterday as our current vet cannot begin to compare with this place. You know you've found a good vet when your dogs get excited to walk through the door! =) I have been taking my English Bulldogs to Animalife for 2 years, now. They are a little pricier than my previous vet, however I take comfort in knowing the doctor is familiar with caring for and treating bull breeds. The entire staff is knowledgeable and courteous, and our visits are always pleasant. We will continue to use Animalife for our pets for years to come. read more

I so wanted to like this place. Dr Randy is the best. Unfortunately some of his staff (Jill) is disrespectful. Pet owners are always concerned about our pets. Every situation can vary a lot because pets have their own personalities. Our only goal is to keep them safe, happy and healthy. This woman made the experience so frustrating, I literally hate this place now. On the phone someone was difficult also. I said, can you please ask the doctor. I was looking for a dewormer. It's not like I was going to eat the medicine. I was having difficulty getting my cat into a carrier. Some of the people on the phone act as if they own the place and do whatever to prevent access to the doctor. Anyway... I was asking some questions and she was just so difficult. Like it was a chore to answer. Finally, I asked for an appointment with Dr Randy, and I expressed, he is level headed, smart, so pleasant to work with and that I was not happy with her handling the situation. Oh, wow, an appointment with Dr Randy - another ordeal. She says with this negative disposition - "we have to see if we can get him to come in" (as if he was away or something, i think she just fumbled her words) - "see if he as time" (made it sound like he is too busy to see a cat, you know, the only job of a vet is to see animals, hello) - just the entire process was frustrating - she looks and finds that the very next day he is available - wow imagine that. Was all that nonsense required???? I'm supposed to be there in 20 minutes, but I am having issues. I could call and cancel. But nobody called me in response to my request. Compounded with the terrible experience - it is difficult to explain some of it, but you know when someone is just giving you a hard time because they are miserable in their own life. Whomever it was that originally took my calls, she was great. She knew how to handle a call, was an absolute gem. Made it easier dealing with stressful situations. Most of the people there are great, but I am rating this on my last experience. You are only as strong as your weakest link. FYI - at any point before I walked out that door, she could have diffused the situation and make it a positive experience. You wasted my time, wasted my money. read more

Dr Foster was great. She wasn't afraid (unlike my last vet) of my very scared cat who was screeching and trying to attack. We were going to forget it and take him home but she said she wanted to try to examine him. With the help of a brave tech she was able to give him a vaccine and give him an an examination and even looked at his teeth. I also had my other cat there for dental work. They are very professional and caring. Dr Foster is very experienced and knowledgable. Their prices are also reasonable compared to my previous vet. read more

I will start off by saying that this 1 star review is not a reflection on the veterinary services provided by Animal life Veterinary Centers. So what I am doing here you must be wondering. My company Excel Electric of Naples Inc. and primarily myself Stephen H. McManus, were recently, viciously attacked on Yelp by Stacey Cline, practice Manager for Animallife Veterinary Center. Like much of the other Fake News world we live in right now, Stacey starts of by extolling the quality service, and quality results on a new facility and existing properties that we had performed. I agree with her and appreciate the compliment. Then she totally misrepresents the last interaction between our two organizations. She called me up telling me that there was someone who was scheduled to come out and provide a QUOTE to connect an appliance and that we stood her up. I believe that may be true. I apologized to her and told that my staff should not have offered to QUOTE a $200-$300 project, and we would happy to perform the service on a Time & Material basis. I acknowledged that this was not great customer service and was trying to let her know we could quickly schedule (as we already had several times before with them with good results), but I never had the chance. She proceeded tell me that she would "make sure to tell EVERYONE what a lousy company we are". It became clear at that point why we were their third electrician in the past two years. She is also correct in stating that I sent Dr. Eisel's wife Trudy an email withdrawing from a pending project at their personal home. While I had no negative experiences with Craig or Trudy Eisel, I felt it best to sever the business relationship after that "over the top" threat. I regret not being clear with Trudy Eisel about my reason, but I thought it was a low key way to exit the situation. So to set the record straight, we perform electrical services from an $85.00 minimum service call to quoted projects in the millions. We don't QUOTE $200-$300 projects, we routinely perform them on a time and material basis for lots of repeat customers and have been doing it for 26 years. From what I have heard, Animallife deserves a high rating for their veterinary services. Do yourself a favor and DON'T be their FORTH Electrician if it involves dealing with Stacey Cline. read more

I took my Indian Ringneck into this vet and say Dr. McLean. She was very knowledgeable and knew what she was taking about and doing. She gave me some very good advice! Its hard to find a good vet, not to mention an avian vet!! Also, not to mention, the regular exam price was very reasonable, $57.00. I wrote this review under an anonymous account so that I wouldn't receive phone calls from the office for leaving this negative and HONEST review. I've moved to Naples this year and I took my 2 year old dog in for the first time to see Dr. Foster for an annual check up and his annual shots. When I get there, they took my dog away from me saying they needed a fecal sample (which they never asked for when I was booking the apt- would have gladly brought them a sample from my backyard for free) and then 10 minutes later, they come back into the room with my dog and tell me everything is done. They did NOT tell me they were going to give him any of his vaccinations out of the room, away from me. I have never had a vet do this before. I could hear my dog screaming from the other room. It was a very sketchy experience, and to top it all off, my invoice came out to be $440.... WAY more than I have ever paid in the past. Also, when I first arrived, they urged me into getting his blood work done, and I gave in, not knowing that your dog only needs blood work if he's old or sick.... so that cost me $50. My biggest issue is that I have no proof that they did anything to my dog, or gave him ANY shots. They supposedly did it while they had him out of the room away from me (plus they never gave me documentation of his lab results). Anyways, I cannot confirm that they gave my dog Vaccinations because they did not do it in front of me, which I DID NOT CONSENT for them to do. I do not recommend this vet to anyone bringing their dog in for the first time. Severely over-priced and sketchy practices. read more

From our very first visit, I knew I found the right vet! We recently moved to Naples and needed to find a top-notch vet for our 14 yr. old Chihuahua. Our dog Lola has a few health issues so you can imagine it was a bit nerve wracking to start over especially since she's been on meds for several years. From my initial contact with the folks who answer the phone, work the front desk, vet techs and Dr. Eisel...everyone was fantastic! From helping us to get her records transferred and keeping her on track with her medications and health monitoring, I was at ease with the way things were being handled. Just recently we had an emergency (very scary!) and I can't begin to tell you how great they were in treating Lola and getting her back on track. Her diagnosis and treatment was spot on. Their support and encouragement was superb and within a few days, Lola was feeling MUCH better. I particularly appreciated the follow-up calls (multiple) We actually has two visits for this last emergency, both the main office on Pine Ridge and their new office down south on Tamiami Trail East. Both times, exceptional experiences. So - a BIG thanks to the entire staff at Animalife Veterinary Center! Definitely glad we met you all!! read more
