After having experienced a gym or two (or ten) in my time, this is a totally different and individualized experience. To ensure i get off to a good start, and to make myself accountable, I engaged Ben (owner) for training, and he is great. Ben "meets you where you are" and doesn't use a one size fits all approach to training. No two sessions are the same, not to say there is repetition so that I can learn, but he is really trying to learn about my and my capabilities. He also takes the extra effort, on days that I go to the gym without scheduling training, to have a routine written out on white board for me to follow - and even those are unique sessions. The thing that I love about the place is it has all the equipment I need, has Wi-Fi so I can watch my iPad well I'm "suffering", and is clean. The gym also has a great trainer, Stacey, who has really help me with my balance, Core, and building up my strength. She was very careful not to aggravate arthritis in different parts of my body throughout this whole process. The next outstanding part is the price. Very reasonable and open literally 24 hours. What I don't understand is why more people don't take advantage of this, an inexpensive way to stay in great shape.

I never thought in a million years the things she was about to learn was going to change her not only physical ability, her mental focus for her games, but also changed her as a human. Dennis is a natural mentor, motivator, and teacher. He breaks down the mechanics of every movement so that your athlete can understand what they need to work on. During our sessions there was a football player and softball player along with my basketball player. I could not believe how he took the drill and modified it for every athlete's sport and explained to them the importance and related it to their game. As far as her sports training, I am thankful we found Dennis, because for my daughter it has given her confidence to elevate her game. As a mother I am thankful he is showing her proper mechanics to make sure she does not get injured. But most importantly, Dennis is an amazing human, with all the athletics aside, he teaches something so much more important. The first session at the end, I had to look away because I got teary eyed. The talk he gave my daughter in the end was amazing, he basically explained to her many aspects of the game and of life, including but not limited to being thankful for everything and everyone who every does something for you, being humble, having self respect and respect for others, and when you are on the court you put your game face on and nothing else matters.
