I am a huge fan of thrift giving g and shopping. And years ago I would have easily given the Arc 5 stars. But , while they remain clean, organized and nicely diversified, I was shocked by the increase in prices. read more

I was in there pretty recent and I wanted to address one of the comments posted. I personally love this store and never had a bad experience. Staff are always so nice. I believe I was one of the people waiting in line. This specific individual whom had a massive pile draping over her stroller and all over the floor. I believe there are limits for the amount of clothing aloud per costumer. To reduce wait time for the fitting rooms, and be fair to other shoppers. In the mean time this customer was being insolent and impolite to the staff on shift. The lady then proceeded to be very disrespectful. The issue got handled in hopes of never having to encounter this predicament again. I like to come here and shop in peace not to see this kind of behavior from rude customers. I feel sorry for the staff that has to deal with that kind of people. read more

Don't even bother trying to donate something here necause they never take anything! Furniture? NO! Clothing? NO! Home Goods? NO! Harry Potter Series? NO! I have tried to donte several things several diffrent times. All in good used shape. I give up.... read more

There isn't much furniture, although there is a wide selection of shoes, especially for women. They have a decent book room with some interesting books and not just a bunch of generic garbage. They had some decent looking glassware too rather than the random stuff you'd find in places like Goodwill. They also had a lot of women's clothing, but not much for men. Their prices are also much better than a lot of other thrift stores. Foe example, we found a great pair of Nike shoes there today for only $3, and they looked like they had been worn only a few times. read more

The goth manager and elderly female employee anxiously harass customers. Spent thousands there, my donated clothes are all over the store. Yes I had 50 items to try on, but I was pregnant last winter & need blouses or dresses that button down for nursing (which I politely explained). I silently/patiently waited a half hour for the one dressing room (they kept saying there are two but they won't open the other)... and they yelled at that apologetic lady. I had to get dressed every 5 minutes as they knocked to claim people were waiting (nobody). The store was near empty. They kept demanding to ring up items, but I was still deciding. They hovered over my husband/baby and threatened to have them leave when they entered the toy room --IF they made a mess! They called us names and gossiped about us while we were still there. They were pretentious, mean and snarky. I bought 27 items with Sarah; while she was kind & helpful, the goth manager and another elderly male had more to add since I didn't hang the last 15 items (she gave me 5 minutes!) Perhaps the goth manager needs to find a job she likes, something that suites her diabolical motives. Her personality is no fit for customer service... or relationships. Awkward to encounter, easy to wince at, difficult to ignore. This store is about community, public service, charity, philanthropy... not patron humiliation. read more

This is a great thrift shop! The prices and selection are very good. Shopping here reminding me of thrift shopping prior to 2000, before the internet and E-Bay made shopping thrift expensive. This is a real gem of a thrift store. read more

The absolute worst shopping experience of my life! The staff was incredibly unhelpful and rude! I bought quite a large amount of things and I wont be back, which is a shame for them , because I do BIG thrift buys for my business all the time! All because of how rude the young women that work there are. If you don't like your job, do something different. Don't be rude and make customers feel super uncomfortable. What's ironic about the staff is it's a Christian store and wow, if that's the example you're setting, there's something very wrong! I understand that customer service is difficult sometimes but there was absolutely no reason for how I was treated. Just an example of this: They don't have shopping carts, just tiny baskets. Big bummer, but I used the baskets and couldn't carry everything at once- also had a baby strapped to me! So, I left my maybe pile in the baskets near the register. Still looking around, the lady asks if she can start ringing me up now, to which I say No I'm not sure if I'm getting everything yet and I'm still looking. She is so stressed out that there's only one register but there aren't any other customers in there it's slow! She gets so pissed about this that she scoffs and slams the door of the back room where I can hear her loudly complaining about me and the other customer in the store. Nice one! Anyways. They need to get some actual nice people in there. I never write reviews about much but this really pissed me off. Hopefully the owner sees this! read more
