Really chill cigar bar. Friendly staff, good drinks and a decent humidor. Just what you need. Music not too loud and the game on the screens with captions. Liked it so much we ended up here twice over the weekend!

Of the 3 "Speakeasies" I visited tonight- this had the best drink. Georgia on My Mind was a perfect balance of strong and sweet. I would come back just for this drink. The bartenders were friendly and had our drinks out in minutes. If cigar smoke is t your thing ... this isn't your place.

I will keep this one brief. You want to get away from the cacophony of the Broadway? Like cigars? want a well made Manhattan or Old Fashioned, or another classic cocktail? This is your place. This is located a few blocks...uphill just off of 5th on Church? You can look it up, that night was hazy. This place has a nice chill vibe with large windows facing the street so you can people watch. Their walk in humidor, and an impressive array of cigars, with a wide range of prices, and along with that they have a cutting and lighting table for use, and more importantly, it is well ventilated. Cocktail wise - they have a decent curated inventory of decent bourbons. Watching the bartenders work their craft, you can see they were well trained, and were quite precise in their craft which I appreciated. This is a must stop for me when I go to Nashville. It is certainly worth the walk to hang out there for an hour or two.

    Cigar bar & Lounge

Out of three Nashville downtown cigar Lounge's that I visited, Red Phone Booth, Casa de Montecristo Cigar Lounge and this place, the Ariston, is the winner. Although it's smaller, it's a classy cigar lounge, ventilation is good, clean and modern. If you want a vibe with more action and crowd, the others are good.

Stopped in on a quiet Sunday for an espresso martini. This is an upscale establishment that clearly understood the assignment. My martini was excellent, the ambiance is perfection, and obviously it smells like heaven. Will be making this a regular spot.

Great place to relax, have an adult beverage, and enjoy a cigar from their top notch selection.

We went in the afternoon so it was pretty quiet still, but the bar tenders were friendly and helpful. And although I'm not a huge tequila fan, I was impressed with my drink. Prices were reasonable for the drinks we ordered and this bar being located on Broadway. Definitely worth a visit.

We walked in around 5:00 PM, and there were very few people in the bar. We had a party of six, so we sat down at a table and waited. After sitting there for a while without anyone coming over, I finally went to the bar. Shortly after that, a waitress came to our table, so I went back and we placed our order. Then came another long wait, we waited about 20 minutes just to get our drinks, even though the bar was nearly empty. On the bright side, the drinks were great. I ordered an El Carajillo, and it was really good! The horchata crème in it was SOOOO good and definitely the highlight of the visit. Unfortunately, the service issues continued. When the waitress brought the check for me to sign, I realized she had not returned my credit card. I had to track her down to get it back, and while doing so, I ran into another customer who had experienced the exact same thing. They have great drinks and normally provide a good experience, so hopefully this was just an off night. But on this particular Friday evening, with the bar barely occupied, the service definitely missed the mark.

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, the menu was fun, and the ambience was so cool and unique! It's sort of a circus theme, which we found very cool. Most of all, we came in with a pretty large group. This bar is definitely more of a small, intimate vibe, so I'm sure bringing in as many people as we did stressed the staff out a bit. But still, our server did so amazingly. I wish I got our servers name so we could commend her! We will definitely be returning- thank you Tiger Bar for an amazing experience!

Sadly, since the change in ownership, it seems to have gone downhill quickly. On our recent visits, they no longer had the ingredients needed to make many of the cocktails, the food has essentially disappeared from the menu--with only popcorn available--and the music was so painfully loud that we felt like we needed earplugs. What was once a unique destination now feels like just another bar on the Gallatin strip, which is really disappointing because the original Tiger Bar had so much character and potential. At this point, I would even suggest considering a name change. Many of the older, glowing reviews reflect the Tiger Bar that existed under the previous ownership and, unfortunately, don't represent the experience today. If it had not been for the kind staff (I counted only 3 which may explain why tables were sticky) I would give zero stars. Giving 2 stars because the staff was friendly and kind and seemed to be trying , the bar tender did attempt to offer drink suggestions. They are not the blame for downfall of a once cool bar and vibe.
