I've found my new favorite speakeasy. My girls and I came and will definitely be back. From being greeted at the door to drinks at the bar and vibes in our section everything was great. The service was friendly and the music was nice. We had the prosciutto plate, I would suggest adding cheese or something additional to make it a different charcuterie option and the pizzas were good too. Overall it's a cute spot to check out. My drinks were delicious too!

Come on a Sunday if you want to avoid the crowds. Drinks were good. Don't be afraid of the egg whites and trust the mixologist.

Context: Happy hour with friends Love: decor, chic space, cool vibes and comfortable seating; thoughtful, kind, and friendly bartenders (Christina & Kenny); well-made drinks Like: my friend liked the (very small) pizzette

came hear on a saturday evening for drinks and was incredibly surprised to find that it wasn't overly crowded which was amazing. I easily found a place to sit at the bar and made myself comfortable as I tried to figure out which drink to have. I asked the bartender Christina for help and she was kind enough to make some great suggestions which I loved. I was also hungry and decided to get some food to eat while I sipped on my drink. I got the burrata and olive oil as well as a pepperoni pizzetta. both were presented on what amounted to paper plates and left much to be desired in terms of flavor. while food is certainly not the primary focus of this speakeasy, I still expected slightly better presentation/quality. I wouldn't come back for the food, but will certainly be back to try more of the drinks on menu soon!

This place is amazing! The drinks and vibe are unmatched, one of the best spots in Midtown North. Incredible service and everyone is so friendly and helpful with suggestions, love the ambiance and live music!

The 1865 Club is a chic speakeasy in the basement of a historic building that's currently an apartment complex. You pull your car up very close to the 1865 Club driveway fence in order to motion activate it to begin your cocktail night. Use the sidewalk by the apartment pool to head to the rear of the building, and view the art along the way to the entrance. The old paper feel of the menus with the vintage fonts was a nice touch for a place serving modern cocktails. The furniture is comfy, and the lighting is fun. The musical performer was fantastic (even just on a regular weeknight). I will definitely be back!

Charcuterie was an excellent selection. Don't let this picture fool ya, we dug in before I thought to take a pic.

Went on my birthday. Super cool place. Loved the live music and the intimate setting. Service was great. It's a bit small but cozy.

Great atmosphere and drinks! This is a nice place for conversation without having to yell over the loud music or 'bar scene'.

We went in the afternoon so it was pretty quiet still, but the bar tenders were friendly and helpful. And although I'm not a huge tequila fan, I was impressed with my drink. We walked in around 5:00 PM, and there were very few people in the bar. We had a party of six, so we sat down at a table and waited. After sitting there for a while without anyone coming over, I finally went to the bar. Shortly after that, a waitress came to our table, so I went back and we placed our order. Then came another long wait, we waited about 20 minutes just to get our drinks, even though the bar was nearly empty. On the bright side, the drinks were great. I ordered an El Carajillo, and it was really good! The horchata crème in it was SOOOO good and definitely the highlight of the visit. Unfortunately, the service issues continued. When the waitress brought the check for me to sign, I realized she had not returned my credit card. I had to track her down to get it back, and while doing so, I ran into another customer who had experienced the exact same thing. They have great drinks and normally provide a good experience, so hopefully this was just an off night. But on this particular Friday evening, with the bar barely occupied, the service definitely missed the mark.

My fiancé and I are getting married next week, and they surprised us with complimentary champagne, which was such a nice touch. We started with the lobster bisque and the Caesar salad. The Caesar was your standard salad, nothing that stood out, but the lobster bisque was rich, flavorful, and easily one of the highlights. They also had a great selection of cocktails and beer to choose from. For our main we split a NY Strip with mashed potatoes. Now I'm usually a ribeye guy, but I have to say this steak was cooked to perfection. It melted in your mouth, and the butter they used was spectacular. The mashed potatoes were a touch dry for my taste, though my fiancé loved them. The best part might be the atmosphere. You can feel the history the moment you walk in, and the live piano playing in the background ties the whole experience together. We will absolutely be back!

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, the menu was fun, and the ambience was so cool and unique! It's sort of a circus theme, which we found very cool. Most of all, we came in with a pretty large group. This bar is definitely more of a small, intimate vibe, so I'm sure bringing in as many people as we did stressed the staff out a bit. But still, our server did so amazingly. I wish I got our servers name so we could commend her! We will definitely be returning- thank you Tiger Bar for an amazing experience!

Sadly, since the change in ownership, it seems to have gone downhill quickly. On our recent visits, they no longer had the ingredients needed to make many of the cocktails, the food has essentially disappeared from the menu--with only popcorn available--and the music was so painfully loud that we felt like we needed earplugs. What was once a unique destination now feels like just another bar on the Gallatin strip, which is really disappointing because the original Tiger Bar had so much character and potential. At this point, I would even suggest considering a name change. Many of the older, glowing reviews reflect the Tiger Bar that existed under the previous ownership and, unfortunately, don't represent the experience today. If it had not been for the kind staff (I counted only 3 which may explain why tables were sticky) I would give zero stars. Giving 2 stars because the staff was friendly and kind and seemed to be trying , the bar tender did attempt to offer drink suggestions. They are not the blame for downfall of a once cool bar and vibe.
