2/5 stars -- Luxury Brow Art, Duluth GA…read more Came in on July 8, 2026 for henna and left disappointed. I showed the artist ("Som," I believe) a reference photo and she agreed to recreate it. She started with a stencil on the back of my hand, that part turned out the best, though it still didn't fully match the photo I brought. When I asked her to continue the design onto my fingers to match the reference, the front desk assistant pulled out several stencils to try to match it, but none of them looked right. The artist ended up freehanding the fingers while referencing my photo, but the lines came out thick and shaky instead of the fine, clean detail in the picture. I noticed the henna paste itself was drying out as she was applying it, which didn't help. I pointed out the unevenness and asked her to fix it more than once, but the fixes still didn't match the quality of the reference. Henna is $15, so I wanted my money's worth and asked for the full design to be completed rather than just the hand portion -- I don't think that was unreasonable. To make it worse, it's now been two days and the henna is already fading noticeably, which shouldn't happen this soon with a proper application. Overall: 4/10 experience. If a shop offers a service, they should be confident they can deliver it -- otherwise it's a waste of the customer's time and money, and now I'm stuck waiting for a design that honestly looks like it was done by a child to fade off my hand. I wouldn't recommend coming here for henna.

Recently, I moved from New York and have been looking for a new brow salon because the one I…read moreinitially found in Georgia was farther from my house and the results were just okay. I was really hoping to find someone who could recreate the style I was used to back home. I found this salon a few months ago and had been seeing one of the brow stylists, who was fantastic. She understood exactly what I was trying to achieve and helped me gradually get my brows back to the shape I loved. Since eyebrow growth takes time, we've been working toward that goal over multiple appointments. Unfortunately, her schedule has been a bit inconsistent lately, so I stopped in today after the gym hoping another stylist could help. Before we started, I explained in detail what I had been working on with the other brow artist and asked several questions to make sure she was comfortable maintaining that same shape. She assured me she understood and told me to trust her. Unfortunately, the result was the exact opposite of what I had asked for. It felt like my concerns weren't listened to, and months of progress toward growing my brows back have now been undone. Brows take weeks to grow back and often months to reshape, so it's incredibly disappointing to feel like I'm starting over. What made the experience even more frustrating was that I spent a significant amount of time explaining exactly what I was trying to accomplish because I wanted to avoid this outcome. I left feeling like I had wasted both my time and the progress I'd made over the past few months. It was simply a very inconvenient experience that could have been avoided if the stylist had been upfront about not being familiar with the technique or shape I was looking for. I'm sure this stylist may do a great job for clients looking for a different brow style, but if a client is asking for a specific approach that you're not confident you can achieve, it's much better to be honest than to promise you can. Setting the right expectations is so important. I wondered if I was just being overly critical, but when I got home, my fiancé immediately noticed the difference and even commented that my brows didn't turn out as well as they had before. I'll continue booking with the original stylist because she truly understood what I was looking for, but I wanted to share my experience so others know to request the stylist whose work aligns with the look they're trying to achieve.

Love my new lashes! Thanks to my beauty guru bestie, I got a…read morereasonable priced extensions and love it!!! Coutur Eye is located in the office buildings off of Satellite Blvd in Duluth, across from QT and Shane's Co. While the exterior, looking like law offices, is a bit odd/off from your expectation of a lash shop, inside is very cozy. Make sure to make an appointment in advance as they book up pretty quickly. (Note, they do take your credit card information over the phone to charge your $5 cancellation/late fee.) I was lucky to have gotten an appointment within couple of days as Brandi (I believe is the owner as well) was available if I was okay to have students watching her do magic on my lashes. It ended up being only 1 student watching and I actually enjoyed her instructions as it was my very first time getting my lashes done and was informative. They have about 5 rooms where you lie down on a tattoo chair for an hour and close your eyes while they glue the lashes. Being my first time, I did 2D mink, which is essentiallly gluing 2 extensions to each of your original lashes. While my lashes are long, they're straight and never gave me the volumous look and the results were magical! It was $70 today, but not sure on the costs for fillers especially I think I wanna go for 3D next time. Either way, I don't think you can beat the price anywhere else! Other than minor pokes here and there, the experience was flawless and would definitely recommend Coutur Eye!
