Obviously, I'm not going to pay for the class twice and ask to be reimbursed later. I called FFG and left 3 messages. No return call. So finally I sent an email. Turns out their phones weren't working (no one had gotten my messages) in addition to their website not accepting the Groupon voucher. I finally got my class booked and made my fairy garden- success! The class was great and the woman who helped me (one of the owners) was super kind. If you are looking for a unique addition to a home or garden decor collection, this is a great place to go. What I really like about this store is that I believe it is husband/wife/family owned. The husband Darryl dyes yarn and I got a skein of his very cool fingering yarn during my first visit. I was hoping to get a crochet needle for a project during our yarn crawl but I didn't find the brand I started using and found I liked; however, we learned a ton about Kromski spinning wheels. Really nice folks with a wide variety of fiber, yarn, accessories, and knowledge. They are also hosting a retreat next weekend.

The store itself is rather small and is laid out more for cropping sessions than filled up to purchase stuff. There is a small selection of paper, pre-made layouts, and other stuff you can use on your layouts (paints, for example). I spoke to Kim and she was very nice and helpful. It sounds like they have regular cropping sessions and classes available every month. It's nice to be able to learn different techniques from different instructors. If I lived up here, I'd be interested in going to one of their cropping sessions or classes.
