I work nearby, so this place is a lunchtime favorite. Their menu of daily lunch specials is constantly passed around my workplace and we always look forward to a meal there. I've ordered sushi, which is always fresh and hand-rolled. They have a two roll and a three roll sushi lunch special that comes with miso soup. My personal favorite meal for lunch is the sesame tofu with fried rice. it comes with a choice of spring roll or crab rangoons for $7 plus tax. The tofu lunch special is a good deal compared to its dinner price of $11. The staff is very friendly whether you're dining in or carrying-out. A few months ago, I went there with a couple of co-workers on our lunch hour and we we were seated, ate, and paid all within 40 minutes. My only caveat is the dinner prices are hiked up a bit compared to their lunchtime counterparts. I highly recommend this place for lunch! Delicious Asian food. read more

I went around 8:30 on a Saturday night and the space was pretty quiet with a few TVs on for entertainment. The hours have changed so they close at 10 instead of 11. What the heck happened??? I began going to this restaurant when it opened back in 2008. It was magnificent. Fresh food, not pre-made chinese food that they just throw in the fryer. It cost more and it was worth every penny. Now they have you pre-pay at the register, only half the dining room is open, the other half has boxes of supplies stacked in it. Some of your food is served in to-go styrofoam plates. It was absolutely awful. The price was ridiculously high for the quality. This place used to have a line out the door from people trying to get a table. Now, it's just a cheap take-out place. Not worth the wait. Sad. read more

The sesame chicken was delicious, moist inside with just enough crunch on the consider and sauce didn't overpower. Love the crab (kani) salad. BBQ eel roll was good also. Kirin beer to wash it down and good service. There's plenty of different dishes and other picks to build your bento boxes but this was my favorite first time pick. Me and the boyfriend went to The Asian Cafe. It's tucked inside a plaza. The wait wasn't long at all and the server was amazing and on top of it. The boyfriend ordered a stir fry and loved it. I got sushi (and already forgot what type)... it wasn't horrible but nothing to write home about. It wasn't filling and felt a little warmer than it should've. I personally love the Orange Chicken because it's so flavorful. I recently visited and got the Black Pepper Chicken with extra vegetables and spice (isn't a spicy dish). Again, AMAZING! I did find that my extra spicy request wasn't met. I know that an effort was made though because there were a few dried chilies mixed into my meal. I get their stir fry with my choice of vegetables, meat, sauce and a side with a starter (all for about $10!) I love AC's Mongolian chicken with brown rice & hot jasmine tea. I try to stop on Tuesdays or Thursdays when my work schedule allows after seeing my chiropractor across the highway. The service is always pleasant and hospitable. If I were to make one enhancement to the experience, it would be to changing the chosen music from Christian radio to something more pleasant like smooth jazz or easy listening. The rolls are small; but they are prepared well. This isn't a fancy place, but it's a great deal if you're in the area during the promotion. I usually order take-out. But when I dine in for dinner, I enjoy the complimentary chips and sauce that they provide before the meal. I also enjoy the bento box. I usually get red curry chicken with steamed rice, a spring roll and a BBQ eel avocado roll. This has become my go-to sushi spot when I want something quick and cheap, but also fresh and tasty. I usually leave at least two stars regardless of the experience because of the effort. However the lack of effort at this restaurant was unacceptable. I ordered the bento box with bang bang shrimp, spicy crab roll, crab Rangoon, and brown rice. To start it was a great amount of food for the price paid, that's the only upside to coming here. The brown rice was extremely dry and they did offer soy sauce, however it wasn't to my liking so I asked for yum yum sauce. The waiter returned to my table with one yum yum sauce. The waiters aren't friendly, more in a rush to get to the next person instead of making it enjoyable. The bang bang shrimp and crab Rangoon was really good on the plus side. The sushi was ok, it was too thick and hard to swallow. I've never had that experience before. Overall the prices are decent, however I wouldn't drive an extended distance to eat here because you may be disappointed. read more

Ginger salad- meh. Carolina roll- really tasty and fresh! Scallop and steak hibachi - well, I wouldn't get scallops again. They're flat and dried out. Steak is chewy. Someone else mentioned the carrots tasting like sweet potato and I agree. Overall the hibachi is disappointing. The menu is large and the staff is friendly. I was in there for takeout on a Friday at 2:30 and it was empty. I would try it again. I wouldn't get hibachi again but I would get the carolina roll. I would try something different next time. Food was very delicious. The lady serving us was so nice. My son was sweating; it was a hot day, and she treated him like my mom would, or one of my aunts. She kept fanning him so he would get cool...I have to smile, becuse it so reminds me of what family would do. The only reason why I did not give this place a full 5 stars is because in my opinion it was pricey...but we did come during dinner hours. Octopus nigiri, not good at all. The octopus quality is below expectations. I barely ate one, the second one I tried to chew but ended up spitting it out from how bad it was. (I love octopus normally, so this was disappointing) Veggie dumplings are good. Crab rangoons are good. Fresh tuna roll is blah but ok. Fried rolls are also ok, the fish quality is definitely better cooked here than raw. The host was a little rude but did his job alright, it was thirty minutes till the end of the night, so it's understandable but still not very welcoming. The staff explained you order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. We had sushi and two bento boxes. Bang bang Shrimp and sesame chicken. The food came quickly and was perfect! We had left overs and wanted to take them to the hotel for a midnight snack. They brought us boxes and a small bag of utensils and a variety of sauces.
