They have about 20 standard selections from the sushi bar plus another 20 fusion rolls. I got the Scorching Son which was tasty but not as hot as I anticipated (a little wasabi fixed that). We ate inside and had a great waiter. I had one of their mimosas since it was only 5 dollars on Sundays. They did not skip on the bubly, and I enjoyed it. They have several create your own options, which were a huge hit for my son. He made his own sushi roll with tuna and salmon. I had a bento box with the pork belly buns and boss sushi roll. This is one of the best bento boxes I have ever had. I loved how you picked the sushi roll, and the buns were really tasty. The cucumber salad and edamame were a great balance to the box. The Crab Rangoon Dip had big chucks of crab in it which was nice, but overall probably not something I'll order again. The Szechuan Chicken had a lot of vegetables (in a good way) but the flavor was kinda lacking for me. I was expecting the Szechuan Chicken to be a bit spicier. My husband and I are monthly regulars at Eez, particularly on Tuesdays when they offer their martinis at half-price--all day. We prefer eating early, so it's great to be able to avoid the dinner crowds and sip a martini when having our meal. Their food is fantastic, and we've tried so many things! If we get appetizers, we usually rotate between their spicy togarashi shrimp, tuna & avocado-tini, crispy rice with tuna, Korean spring rolls, or pork potstickers. Their miso soup is good, too. For our entrees, my husband loves their bento boxes, seafood fried rice, kung pao, and pad thai. I love their build-your-own poke bowls, smaller sushi rolls (like the spicy tuna, Philly roll, and smoked salmon roll), and their speciality rolls, like the Miss Moffitt's, blackened tuna, and scorching sun. You can also still get old favorites that are no longer on the menu, like my absolute favorite, the Impersonator. But the best thing is that you can order a 1/2 roll, or try two 1/2 rolls from either the regular or specialty sushi menu. I don't have a huge appetite, so the 1/2 roll option is a game-changer for me! The cost is slightly more than half, but it's absolutely worth it! One of the best things that brings us back to Eez as often as we do is the service. We have some favorite servers who know us and treat us so wonderfully, like Allie and Matt. But honestly, everyone who has served us has been great. We can't wait to return! read more

I really love the crab rangoon dip last time I came, this trip it wasn't as good. Maybe it was an off day in the kitchen. The sushi was okay too. This was my second time having lunch at Eez Fusion so they definitely get 5 stars! The restaurant is located in Birkdale so we know the parking situation but I lucked up this time. The service both times was great and it's a pretty large restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. You can't go wrong with the bento box! We had the firecracker roll and it was delicious! For my entree I had the Singapore street noodles and oh my gosh-packed full of flavor! It was so good and a large portion. There are so many other things on the menu I want to try but this will be hard to pass up! We just ate here for the first time in several years and I'm disappointed. We were looking forward to the sushi and overall experience and we will not be back. The waitress did the best she could but we could tell she had a ton of tables and was running nonstop. The manager stopped by after we waited an hour for our entree and said "the kitchen is behind". Our son just moved to the area and my wife and I took him out to Eez Fusion during our recent visit. He had been there before and told us it was a great place. He was right. We all agreed the tuna nachos were the best. One could make a meal out of those and they were so delicious. We also got the spring rolls, which were okay, but not as good as the tuna nachos. They had regular iced tea which is important to my wife because many Asian places serve a flavored iced tea, which she doesn't prefer. My son got a ramen dish that was delicious and priced right. My wife and I tried two sushi rolls that were good. I preferred the 'eyes' roll with scallops, very good. The host was very nice, as was our waitress. Our Tuesday Night Go-To This place has become our Tuesday night ritual. It's our favorite local sushi spot--in the best way. My wife is loyal to the Salmon Poke Bowl (extra spicy, no onions), and I almost always go for the Moriawase Double Deuce. It's a ton of food, and in the past I swapped the California roll for a more interesting maki roll for a nominal upcharge. We've only done takeout so far and have never actually sat inside, but every time I go to pick up, it's busy and the staff is friendly and welcoming. I like the modern vibe here, with lots of window seating to look out at the busy Birkdale Village foot traffic. We were here on a Monday night, but it was still very busy. We were celebrating my daughter's birthday and she likes coming here. Favs on the menu are the crab Rangoon dip and the Korean spring rolls. Many of us order from the Stir Fry bar, where you can customize your bowl with choice of protein, veggies, sauce, noodles or rice, etc. and we tried the Fusion Bento Box. It is a lot of food! We decided on this restaurant for dinner on Saturday evening, although there was a waiting period it went by pretty quick. The staff is very helpful and friendly with good knowledge of the menu. I've been to this place a few times in the past...but due to the long distance from my home, I haven't been back in a long time. Plus, I never wrote a review for them back when, so here's one now! I ordered their Lettuce Wraps (w/ Chicken) and Szechuan Chicken (w/ Rice). Lettuce Wraps were good...but surprisingly, I've had better at P.F. Chang's. I say that because in the eeZ's version, the chicken isn't minced really small, but rather large chunks....and the flavor was rather bland. Luckily I liked the sauce that came with it. Now I LOVED their Szechuan Chicken dish! First of all, it had a very polished presentation...possibly because of their generous usage of green peppers to top the rice? I loved the dry texture of the rice...and the chicken was really good! This dish was also quite generous...easily big enough to serve 2!! Service was quite friendly and attentive...and the foods came out quickly. Although the Lettuce Wraps were a bit disappointing, I loved everything else...and have no regrets coming here again. I always liked the foods here...and I actually prefer eeZ over their sister restaurant Cowfish. If I lived closer to the north part of Charlotte, I can see myself returning here often! read more

We had a nice waiter in the beginning, but she forgot to check on us, so we had to ask for her numerous times. I was highly disappointed in the food: The sushi/fish had a mushy texture. It lacked flavor, which they tried to cover up by putting a lot of STUFF on top, but the flavor & the texture of the sushi should always shine through. It did not. The sonomono salad also lacked texture. The veggies were limp & you could tell they had been sitting in the liquid for quite some time. I sent it back because it was inedible. Calamari- is my jam!
