Amazing. We didn't know what to expect when getting a doula as this is our first child. With that said, I don't think we could have expected how incredibly supportive and helpful they were. Stefanie was our doula and she went with us from the Atlanta Birth Center to the Medical Center. We had a 50 hour labor from start to finish and she was there for the entire labor. We had a great labor experience with Stefanie and I am looking forward to recommending her to everyone I know in the Atlanta area. I think I would have tapped out at around 24 hour mark if it was not for her comfort and support during labor. I highly recommend this doula team. Wonderful. Melissa and Stefanie were fantastic as a resource throughout my pregnancy, always super quick to respond to any text messages and put me at ease. They are both calm and reasonable. During my labor Melissa was incredibly supportive and helpful without being overbearing. Melissa also seamlessly took a number of photos of my labor experience without my ever noticing (I had approved in advance). Days later I cherished being able to look through the photos. I cannot begin to thank Stefanie and Melissa for the care they have provided to me and my family as both our birth and postpartum doulas. I did not have a doula for my first birth and knew I wanted to do things differently for my second. I interviewed many doulas and clicked instantly with their calm and reassuring presence, as well as their expertise. I had a high risk pregnancy and they were knowledgeable about my risk factors and confident I could still have an empowering birth experience. They walked me through pregnancy in the pandemic, shifting to a different care provider and hospital in the third trimester, and (ultimately) an unmedicated induction birth that was so empowering. Stefanie arrived at the perfect time during our birth and supported me through a fast and intense, yet somehow peaceful? active labor and delivery. It was amazing and we couldn't have done it without her. After our baby arrived, Melissa helped us get some much needed rest by coming to be our night doula up until about 2 months. The extra hands were much needed and the extra company was so uplifting. These women were amazingly supportive during this process and are still keeping in touch and checking in on us to this day. When my husband and I found out we were pregnant with our rainbow baby we were over the moon with excitement. The Atlanta Doulas were absolutely wonderful. I found them just before I switched practices around 30 weeks for my second pregnancy. I did not have a doula for my first. They did not influence my decision to switch, but simply helped me reach a sound choice in which I felt most comfortable by giving information about their extensive experiences regarding interventions, providers, and hospitals. Melissa and Stefanie were not only a wealth of knowledge, they were readily available and genuinely caring and kind. When it came to delivery, I don't know if I would have made it through without Stefanie! She was incredibly empowering yet also comforting. So attentive and experienced; they are passionate about birth and it shows. Melissa was wonderful with postpartum follow ups.
