Baby Shower - They have the cutest newborn + little shoes. In addition found children's books for the baby (Italian, Indian and Cuban) The owner is looking out for another nationality that I would like. For business trip: Purchased a beautiful sweater type long shirt. I'll have to post at a later date, to intricate to explain. As I was preparing for my business trip, I noticed that the rest of my clothes offered no pockets. Trying to hold my phone, wallet in a bulky purse would have been uncomfortable. I remembered that they had a flat purse that can be situated under my business clothes "who's gonna know" . In addition I bought an RFID flat wallet. The bag could also fit my Epi-Pen and meds. All gifts were gift wrapped. For merchandise from around the world, I promise you that will find unique gifts at reasonable prices.

I always complained that there's really nowhere hyper local to get ski attire whether for actual skiing or after ski. I found just the place during Lakewood Chocolate Walk - Geiger's! AMBIANCE: Standalone store in downtown Lakewood that's apparently been part of the community since 1932 (wow!) For being such a longstanding retail space it's surprisingly modern. It really reminds me of Eddie Bauer's. The store has multiple rooms of outdoor attire. MERCHANDISE: Most of the attire (predominantly women's and children's) looks like chic athletic-ish attire to wear around Lakewood. Faux fur vests are especially soft and high quality. There is an entire room of skiing gear - skis, ski goggles, and sweaters with ski landscapes. There's also a pretty expansive selection of children's attire. You'll find popular brands like Patagonia and Yeti, and also less known brands. Prices are mostly what you'd expect at a high-end department store. SERVICE: The service at the store wasn't too attentive. Employees were a bit awkward with client interactions. Perhaps because it was busy. Check out this store if you are looking for winter attire like coats, chunky sweaters, gloves, and hats. There are plenty of choices here. I'll come back when I have more time to browse the coat inventory.

I loved how the items were categorized based on the decade they were made and you can find a lot of really cool vintage decor and trinkets at reasonable prices. Definitely a local spot to support.

It's such a nostalgic loire with mid-century modern treasures between 1920 and 1980. I've now visited a few times and really loved my time here. It also has been recognized for being one of the best thrift shops in Ohio. I can see why! AMBIANCE/MERCH: The store occupies 10,000 square feet space on Lorain. It's a neighborhood well known for thrift to the extent that you can have your own crawl. Sweet Lorain has the main space, back space, and furniture room. The main space mostly contains old newspapers, vinyls, jewelry, and home decor. The furniture room has furniture and nostalgic toys. The back room is the treasure chest. You'll find global treasures, Ohio decor, Christmas decor, furs, clothing, luggage, hats, and never ending inventory of whatever you brain may dream up. Some inventory even indicates the era. The inventory pricing widely varies from a few cents to the thousands. Be ready to go on an archeological dig, there is an overwhelming amount of inventory and unique finds. I am a very picky thrifter, and even I can find things to light up about. I love the assortment of furs at Sweet Lorain. There are so many racks of fur coats, boxes upon boxes of muftas, stoles, and hats. There is a fabulous collection of feathered hats (let's bring this fashion back)! There are also a million other things to love. SERVICE: The service is pretty friendly, the owner and the employee always ask if you want help. I most impressed that the owner knows absolutely everything he carries in his enormous inventory. Just ask, and he'll tell you. PARKING: Small, gated parking lot is available onsite. You can also find plenty of street parking. SELL: This place allows you to sell your treasures. Make an appointment in advance. I plan to be back very soon to dig for formal accessories - shoes and clutches. If you have a formal occasion, venture out here. You'll find so many shoes, clutches, formal dresses, and everything in between. It's perfect destination for holiday outfit shopping and everything in between.

I have all good things to say about this Target and nothing negative. Besides the prices for groceries being too high (this is why I go to Aldi), I love their home furnishings section. I can find frames to decorate my apartment, bath towels, kitchen utensils, etc. Their clothing section is great too with a good amount of items in the sales section. Someone recently told me about the Cartwheel app which gives you discounts/coupons for items all over the store. Download the app if you want to save money while shopping at Target. P.S. There is a Starbucks inside which is cool for all you coffee drinkers. I've been to the Starbucks about twice to buy snacks and service was quick. This Starbucks is technically a kiosk (small) so the lines can get long. *** This is my 91st Yelp review overall. 45th review for 2018 (aiming for 60 reviews in 2018).

The store was an absolute mess - clothes were scattered all over the floor, with racks looking half-empty and unorganized. The problem wasn't just in one area, it was all over the place. Clothes just laying on the floor or scattered on shelves. Shoes fallen off shelves and scattered on the floor. Dresses that were hanging were very wrinkled. It felt like walking through a clearance sale after a stampede. I have never seen anything like this at any Target or really any store. It discouraged me from buying any clothes because I wasn't confident that I wouldn't wear something laying on the floor for days. I stopped by the sales area at the front of the store and was looking at pickleball themed accessories. Then I noticed some motion around me. That was an employee who threw a bandana back into its box right in front of my face. That was seriously strange. In general, it felt like the employees at the store were exhausted and discouraged. To make matters worse, the floral section was just sad. Out of all days on Mother's Day. Most of the flowers were wilted, with some bouquets looking like they'd been left out for days past their prime. Few good observations about the store. The store had really cute weekend bags. Very cute fall-like colors, all sizes. At the front of the store there is a pretty extensive Cleveland and Ohio Sports section. You can find t-shirts, baby clothes, and other fun stuff. I usually count on Target for a clean, well-stocked shopping experience, but this location clearly isn't being managed properly. It gave off a neglected vibe that made me want to leave rather than browse. Hoping this was just an off day, but based on what I saw, it might be a pattern.
