The breading is yummy, and thin- not obnoxious. 9/10 as far as fish and chips go... lets face it, fish and chips is a 5/10 food, but this is really good fish and chips. Here's where it gets good. My friend ordered shepherds pie. I've had no interest in shepherds pie since the first time I tried it, but when they brought it out, it looked delicious, so I had to ask for a bite... and another one... and another one. She couldn't eat the whole thing, so we got a to-go box... which I stole and ate her leftovers, because this was a stonking good shepherds pie. So yeah.... had an outstanding serving of a mediocre food, and discovered that the first time I had shepherd's pie, it was garbage. Fun place, good food. I'll be back.

Unfortunately, the weather was rainy so we didn't get to explore the whole property but from what we could see it is quite inviting, cute & COZY! The decor is so unique and I'm sure each time we go, we'll see something new which we hadn't seen before. We had an amazing server Paige! She was incredibly helpful when asked about the menu and incredibly patient and accommodating with our questions and changes/adds to our orders! This gal just glowed with personality, which made our experience that much better! The food was absolutely delicious...although at first difficult to choose from, but with the help from Paige, we each ordered three main brekkie entrees and shared them all... a perfect solution! We're looking forward to our next visit, which hopefully will be on a better weather day as you can peruse the property with cocktails in hand or what looks to be a very pleasant patio experience!

We ended up ordering the classic burger, chicken parm, short rib, and calamari. Unfortunately, they were all mediocre at best. Not much flavor in any of them and nothing noteworthy about any of the dishes. For the prices it was pretty disappointing. I doubt we will go back. It had a lot of promise and with some better food it could be an amazing place. But something is just off and as such I can't recommend it unless you are just looking for somewhere to have a couple drinks with a great ambiance.

I read here on Yelp that the fish and chips was good. Well I will agree to this. I really liked the fish and chips. I was told the Rubin is good as well. I may have to come back and try it as I love a good Rubin. I also got the bread pudding. It was unique, I love making bread pudding myself so always like trying others. This version, it is a large piece of bread that is kind of like a huge piece of French toast. Now don't get me wrong it is very good in its own way and yes I would order it again, to bad they didn't bake in some chocolate chips or health bar chunks in the bread. The place is very clean and reminds me of a British pub, I was told it use to be the Cock and Bull, so that does sound like the interior would fit that name. The staff were very helpful and polite. I read a couple reviews stating the service was slow. I always love hearing that. I spent time through Europe and love the relaxed slow life and the service was the same. People just need to stop being in a hurry. I would recommend this location for some good fish and chips as well as unique bread pudding.
