We elected to split a Cheese Blanket Nachos with ground seasoned beef. After our order was taken, our nachos were prepared pretty fast. The nachos were served on a square metal pan and individual plates and eating utensils were provided. The nachos were very tasty and are a nice snack. Before I get to the food, let's talk about the amazing location... this Rusty Bucket's is in the heart of Liberty Township- a beautiful night life of grass patches, fun benches, fountains, lots of shops and restaurants, and activities for kids. Ok, now onto to the food- I got a plain buffalo chicken sandwich and added pepper jack cheese on it. The chicken had Panko breading and was the perfect light buffalo taste, not too spicy. Stopped at the Rusty Bucket prior to a movie at the Liberty Town Center. The place had a nice crowed and we were seated immediately. Our server created quickly and drink orders taken timely. The vibe was "relaxed local", a mix of families and regulars as far as I could tell. The menus was nice and many items looked appealing. We started with the peal and eat shrimp (nice size) followed by a pizza and beef stroganoff. The stroganoff was traditional, egg noodles, slow roasted beef and sour cream - probably the best I have eaten out, much better than I could make at home! Portions were large and the food delicious. Overall a great experience and I would return. I noticed there was a low star rating and read a few reviews - many of them YEARS old. Hubby & I stopped by here for lunch. We were seated immediately & our friendly server took our drink order. The ambiance is typical sports bar with several televisions. I ordered the double stacked quesadilla ($14.59) while hubby got the fish & chips ($19.99). I never thought I'd see the day that I would spend $20 for fish & chips! Prices were high across the menu but that seems to be the way things are going. We got our food within 10 minutes & the portions were decent. I liked the quesadilla & hubby liked the fish & chips. Why the restaurant would assign their least experienced employee to a large event, I have no clue. The server had to be reminded several times of orders and requests. It made what was supposed to be an enjoyable event exhausting. My feelings are that we were taken complete advantage of because the gratuity was guaranteed. This is disturbing and quite upsetting. Friday evening, an early dinner, arrived just before 5 PM. My wife and I were quickly greeted and sad. Our waitress, I wish I remember her name, did a great job. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. We started with an appetizer of nachos. It was a very large portion, we should've made it our meal. These nachos were traditional style, if there's such a thing, but they were excellent. My wife ended up ordering beef stroganoff. She said it was very good. I ordered their original hamburger. I thought the burger was excellent, it included all the fixings and a side of fries. We both drank water, and our bill was under $40. We thought the food was excellent. This had become our go to place for a great salad and sandwich. Last 2-3 times we went in everything was different. The food was just not the same. Our favorite salad was the double nickel. The dressing was great, but they last several time it has lost its flavor. The dressing was not as tasty. We asked if they had changed something and was assured everything was the same. Perhaps our taste buds have changed because it's not worth the wait any more. The lines are still long trying to get in, but we choose to not wait any longer. We were also very disappointed with the onion rings. They were overly greasy and were cold by the time we got them. The server apologized and brought replacements but same thing. Been here several times over the past couple years. Easy stop for dinner since close to my hotel. With the warmer weather they have an open air covered patio. Love it. Tonight here at Liberty Center, they have a featured local band so sitting on the patio I get live music. Nice perk. I was seated quickly with drink order followed within minutes. A different waitress brought my drink and I was ready to order. Got the Baja Fish Tacos. One of my favorites. Comes with black beans and rice. The tacos have a nice citrus slaw on it. Very tasty. The seasoning on the fish is very good and flavorful. This place also has a nice bar area with one large TV and a couple small so sports is always on and available. They will even change the channel if you want something specific. Rusty Bucket will continue to be a spot I frequent. read more

Stopped by after a movie at the cinema for a bite to eat, my son in law ordered the meatloaf , when he attempted to cut into this loaf of meat it flipped off the table because it seemed to be petrified, hard as a rock, even had the waitress attempt to cut this and same thing , she apologized and said she would bring him another, now there were (6) of us in this party and while she was getting another serving of meatloaf for my son in law, the others were continuing to eat there dinner, all the others had finished their meals and then his meatloaf arrives, needless to say , we said boxed it up, we will take it home, terrible experience, never even offered to take anything off our total bill, very frustrated and disappointed, ...... read more

Well, I guess I expected too much. I ordered the turkey burger with fries. It wasn't too bad. But, I had to ask for ketchup. I thought that was odd. Like, have you ever seen Bert without Ernie? Oh yeah, I was sitting at the bar and had to ask for another Stella to fill up my empty glass of ice. Staff was friendly when they were around. Maybe it will be better next time..... My plate sat there awhile before it was cleared. Crazy because it was sitting at the bar next to the clean up/serving station. I came in and ordered a Salmon Salad to go for me and a friend. The place was clean and the people friendly. I go my salad and left to go eat, they boxed the salmon separately from the greens to keep things the right temp as long as possible. The salmon was done perfectly and the seasoning was very good. I was not impressed with the lack of good greens, it was just iceberg lettuce. Okay this may be a me thing, but iceberg lettuce is just flavorless and not worth being in a salad. My family has been coming to this location for a while now on Saturdays between my sons' little league sports. We are always happy with the quality and service. Food is always good, and the staff is always quick, accommodating and friendly. During our past visit, the GM went over and beyond. My son had been using my jacket as a blanket and my wallet must have fallen out. I had no clue it wa even missing 2 days later! We hadn't gone anywhere and I hadn't needed it for anything! The GM took extra steps to locate and find a way to reach out to me to let me know he had been safe keeping my wallet in his safe for the past 2 days. I know the gesture may have seemed small to him and something he wouldn't have thought twice about doing- just something he SHOULD do. However, I feel much of this ethic has been lost these days, and my family was so thankful for this gesture. It saved so much headache of having to report cards missing, having new ones sent etc. As a family of 5 (3 littles), and 1 on the way... This small gesture really helped us in a big way. read more

Drinks took a few minutes to arrive and we ordered appetizers & shortly before the appetizers arrived we ordered entrées. All the food was tasty. Pirogies were a hit as were the nachos. I thought the fish and chips were delicious though the fish was a little over cooked in my opinion. The batter was delicious and nice and crispy. The quesadilla was quite spicy but good. The lemonade - strawberry and raspberry were our choices - was refreshing and my husband enjoyed his ginger beer. I think the menu has enough options to please most parties and it isn't overwhelming in size so it didn't take long to select our options. The service was good and ambience perfect - not too noisy and there are plenty of tvs for the sports fans. For four people the bill was $117 which seemed decent value for 3 appetizers, 1 snack and 3 entrees, and there was plenty of food. I will definitely return when I'm in the area again. read more

Rusty Bucket is a great place to chill out and have a refreshing drink. The food is great. What makes Rusty Bucket stand out are the very personable and beautiful bartenders. Lisa, Emily, Maggie and Jill. They are treasures. Unlike many of their competitors they are knowledgeable in the lost art of conversation. My only complaint is like all of the other restaurant bars within the Liberty Township Mall the prices of drinks are exorbitant. However, the price of the drinks is a small price to pay to be in the company of these fine young beautiful women. Check it out or I'll tell your mother if you don't. read more
