We always get great service, the bartenders and staff are all so kind and friendly, they keep our drinks full and the pizza is incredible! They just put in a stage outside, we love it! We are only here in the summers now but have been going to the Liberty Inn off and on for about 10 years. I really loved that place until recently. The last two times I was there I was met with total rudeness and some hostility from both the blonde bartenders. Let me tell you what happened last night. We came in at 5:45 asked to order a pizza and we told the pizza maker wasn't here yet and I'm not cooking. The pizza person was supposed to be there at 6:00. I was pretty hungry and 15 minutes wasn't long to wait so we ordered a bucket of beer. At 6:15 I asked if the pizza person was there yet. That nasty girl said snottily "Do you see her here?" I couldn't believe it. I didn't ask with any attitude, just asked a question. I was ready to leave, but as we were discussing taking our unopened beers and leaving the pizza maker came in so we ordered. It was burnt when it came out service stopped and we were never asked how things were or if we needed anything. The previous time was almost as bad. This used to be a fun friendly place to go but we won't be back. The food isn't that good and those blonde bartenders need at a minimum an attitude adjustment or other employment. If you aren't a regular there you don't feel welcome by either of them. It's As a small business owner myself I wouldn't keep employees who are damaging my business and reputation. There's plenty of other dive bars with better food and know how to treat customers. read more

There is a bartender here who literally kills the entire vibe. Her name is Dreama. And she is more like a Nightmarea. I've heard her scream, actually scream at customers to move out of her way. This is not a one time occurrence. She is consistently extremely rude and unfriendly. I love this bar and have been coming here for years. The best times were when she was not working. The other bartenders & workers are great! She denigrates the entire atmosphere with her extremely poor attitude. She needs customer service training or to be replaced. read more

My husband and I were in the Liberty Inn, 7163 Princeton Road, West Chester, OH, 45044, between 3:30 and 4:30 p.m. today, April 13th, 2025. When we ordered food and beverages, we were asked for a credit card, and thus we immediately told the waitress that we were paying cash. She acknowledged, but indicated that it was necessary to have the credit card prior to our ordering food and drink. When we finished our pizza and drinks, we asked for the check. We doled out $45 cash, which included a generous $13 tip! On our way home, we received an alert from our bank that indicated she had also charged his credit card! We immediately drove back to the Liberty Inn, and when we entered the inn the waitress tried to ignore us. Eventually she gave me back my $45 cash, no apology, no explanation was given. I believe it is imperative that customers be made aware of this "trap". I phone the establishment and asked to speak to the manager, but was simply given the name "Brian" and no other info. I wish to contact the manager and advise him of this incident, but I am unable to obtain the information needed to do so. read more

Been going out Wednesdays since my Mom died 10 years ago with my family. Always looking for a new place, we found Liberty Inn. I heard they were known for their pizza. Got a nice table at 7ish inside while a band played outside. Got beers and put in an order from their huge menu of four items. A pizza and three subs. And then it all went downhill. Over an hour later, the pizza arrived but there were no subs. They say they have a stone oven, but all I saw was some guy looking at a tiny two-door oven behind the bar. It's a step above microwave food but unless they picked up gravel in the parking lot to put in the mini-oven, I'm not sure what they were talking about. I felt horrible eating the pizza in front of the people waiting on subs, but it's been over an hour now!! Like I said, I can see the guy cooking the food clear as day, and I don't see subs happening. While all this is happening, we had to start getting our own beers. Service stopped. I saw tin foil behind the bar and got real hopeful for the sub eaters and finally... out comes one sub. The lady behind the bar announces a pizza sauce sub and every sub eater shrugs because nobody ordered that. The lady behind the bar looks annoyed at us for getting the wrong order and takes it behind the bar to the cook. He slaps some mushroom sauce on it as if it was a bonus. The newest member of our group lost it and just refused to eat. The other sub eaters were ravenous and just took what was offered at that point. I thought of the show "Bar Rescue" and how a simplified menu should equal success... WRONG!!! I went up to pay and the lady behind the bar was telling two girls about a couple she just gave beers to being swingers. Finally she looks over and I ask to pay. I was really hoping she could have apologized and said they were slammed, which would have saved her tip, but she didn't. She could have cared less. I have NEVER not tipped until today and I don't feel bad about it. This place needs to be shut down! read more

Stuff changed. I got a note from another Yelper telling me that The Liberty Inn now does not allow smoking. I heard that the owner got tired of paying the fines. That may or may not be true. This is now a great neighborhood bar with many liquor and beer choices with a limited menu that includes pizza, one size and that's large. The Pizza with double cheese, mushrooms, bacon, sausage and something I forgot was $14.75. The well Bourbon at $3.00/shot during happy hour was pretty good. We'll be back and maybe try one of their hoagies. Very reasonable and very tasty. I now recommend the Liberty Inn. read more

My husband and I have been coming here for quite sometime and we've always enjoyed their pizza. We tried calling several times to place an order for pizza and it kept going to a fax machine. So we drove by wondering if they were closed yesterday around 2:30 and to our surprise they were open. So my husband and I went in to place the order and there was a blonde haired lady behind the bar and there was 1 other customer in the place. So my husband said," you might want to check your phone because we've been trying to call to order pizza and it keeps going to a fax machine". The bartender said nastily,"we don't take orders for pizza over the phone". The funny thing is they have the number on the pizza box. I told her my order for two pizzas and I asked for extra sauce and because I asked for extra sauce she said,wait a minute I'll have to start over". After I ordered she then asked if we wanted a drink. Now i know why you don't take orders over the phone. We get home and both pizzas were burnt and dry as the Sahara Desert. Great neighborhood bar/pub. Moved to the area two years ago and found this place was only a few minutes from my house. From the first visit and every time since was made to feel welcome by all the staff and have over time become friends with all. Food is typical bar food but above average typical taste. The outside of the building has been totally redone with a new roundabout completed at the intersection. The Inn is a hidden gem that I would suggest everyone visit at least once. Do NOT go here if you look under the age of thirty. My friends and I (all between 21-26 years of age) came here on a busy night and stood outside in the cold for an HOUR waiting to get in. The bouncer (50-something male) was letting in his buddies and what he called "hot girls" and didn't let us in because of "fire code". Understandable, but after 20 people left the bar (yes, we counted), he still wouldn't let the 6 of us in and was just messing with us at this point. Throughout the night, we were called "ugly", "b*tches", and that we didn't look old enough to be there. On top of it all, my friend and I had to use the bathroom as soon as we got there, and they refused to let us inside just to pee!! We literally had to leave to find a bathroom, although I'm glad we left because they don't deserve a cent of our money. I wish I could give them zero stars. read more

Growing up I was told this bar was the kind of place where there were lots of bar fights. That's fake news. It can get a bit loud, but there's a little something for everyone there. One of my favorite bars in the west Chester area. In the summer they host corn hole tournaments. In the winter they host trivia night, oldies night, and keep a roaring fire outside for the smokers. As a yelper it is hard to imagine anything higher than a 1. Pizza is number one food item nothing fresh on this menu. The place is a neighborhood drinking spot that has karaoke. While they say it is non smoking. the locals still do inside. Drink prices are normal but I wouldn't start a tab as bartenders and waitresses have been known to add items. Finally went here and have been a few times in the past month and have had a blast! The service is great - the servers make an effort to introduce themselves, have shirts with their name and remember yours. Each time I've felt like I've made a new friend (who brings me beer and pizza)! Finally tried the pizza last time and it was really good - thin crust which I liked and golden brown on the top how a pizza should be! They have a great outdoor patio with plenty of outside seating. Inside they have a nice sized bar and either live music or karaoke. When we went a couple of Fridays ago, the age range went from college students to people probably in their late 60's to 70's. People were having a good time either singing karaoke or dancing along. We will definitely be back again!! read more

If you want cheap beer, colorful characters (i.e. Bikers) a laid back atmosphere and a nice outdoor area...this may still not be the place for you. Affectionately dubbed "Libs" by locals, this place really packs em in during the summers. Karaoke and pizzas are the specialty here. You can roll up in some mesh shorts and a tshirt and not be judged (I did it last night!) So.... The Libs isn't for everyone, but if you are strictly interested in a low key bar with great people watching, you will enjoy. read more

This place used to be a great place to go for a drink with friends and relax, but recently the owner Brian raised the prices AGAIN! There is one of 2 reasons for this, one,he bought Gano Tavern a place known for breakfasts which he is not and is losing money or number 2, he allows people to bring coolers into Liberty under the premise of storing bucket beers purchased which is false. So come one, come all, bring your coolers and don't buy anything! Such an overpriced joke!
