To make matters worse, the customer our original server had been chatting with kept giving us dirty looks, as if we had done something wrong. We never complained or asked to speak with a manager--the manager approached us first because we had been sitting there without service. It made for a very uncomfortable dining experience. I was also surprised the manager didn't make any effort to recover the situation, even something as simple as comping my wife's glass of wine would have shown some concern for the poor service. When it came time to pay, no one even asked if I was using the Beef's rewards app, so I missed out on the $10 discount I had available. At that point, we just wanted to pay and leave.
