1/2 Chicken, coleslaw, tater tot casserole

I was a lil hesitant when we pulled up to this strip mall establishment with tinted windows. The big sign over the top just says "BBQ", so if you are looking specifically for the name, you might miss it. Despite the giant arrow on the door, my partner nearly walking into the kitchen made for an amusing intro to the lovely couple that runs this restaurant. I did not catch names, but the gentleman was very patient in answering questions about the menu items. (I was pleasantly surprised that there is a variety of sides that don't have pork). On to the food: the coleslaw and potato salad weren't exactly memorable. That tater tot casserole though, I could eat a whole pan. Cheesy, seasoned, and a hint of smoky flavor. The chicken was fall off the bone tender and juicy. The lady of the establishment was kind enough to share samples of the brisket and ribs, and those were equally as good as the chicken. I definitely would stop back here next time I'm in Titusville.

Welcome to Titusville, Sugar Shack BBQ! We are happy you've brought Texas style BBQ to the area. They are in their first week of opening so I'm giving them grace as they work out the kinks. There is an awkward flow when you first walk in. The ordering counter is right when you walk in which is kind of confusing. Well at least it was for me. The staff is still working on their flow as well. There seemed to be some confusion and miscommunication going on when it came to preparing orders. One great thing is that the smoker is out back and it's a wonderful smell when you get out of the car and go inside. I ordered a 2 meat 2 sides platter with brisket, peach habanero pork belly burnt ends, baked beans and dirty rice. My son got brisket, pulled pork, Mac and cheese and baked beans. The brisket was the stand out. I ate it without any sauce. The burnt ends were delicious but could have been warmer as in temperature. The pulled pork was ok. It needed salt and seasoning. As for the sides, the baked beans and mac and cheese were great! The dirty rice needs more seasoning and salt. It was also a little watery. Don't skip the house made pickles and pickled onions. They currently offer 2 different BBQ sauces one of which is mustard base. They are both good. We didn't try any of the desserts but will try them next visit.

Brought it back to my RV. WOW YUM

I finally made it to this cool spot that everybody has been talking about. The owners are extremely nice and very invitive and wanted you to try all their wonderful foods. I enjoyed the brisket, the pulled pork, and the wonderful burnt-ends. Everything was delicious. Fresh straight out of the cooker and you could tell that it had A signature from the cook. I showed up later in the afternoon and they still had food. I was worried that they were going to run out before I showed up. I am so happy I visited this place and I will keep my leftovers today for lunch.

Half rack with tater tot casserole .

Stopped by for lunch. I had the pork ribs with tater tot casserole as my side. The food was delicious. The ribs had a good tasting run and had that perfect tender but still had that snap to them. The tater tot casserole was good. The service was very good and o feel like they appreciated the business. Will definitely return. The brisket looked phenomenal and want to try on next visit.

Too full. Had to get dessert take out for later.

Really good St Luis style ribs. The flavors are really clean flavors and quite unique. All food made in house.

Great service! Good food! Cool atmosphere!…read more The French toast was good. I think it was missing powdered sugar, but it didn't need it. The Brisket Scramber was supposed to come with scrambled eggs, but she asked how hubby wanted them cooked. They came out scrambled eggs, so she gave him a side of over easy for the error. There were TVs and a digital jukebox. The music played but not overly loud for the morning hours. We will be back another time for dinner!

We went and ordered to go as we wanted to check the place out. A pound of brisket $30 later. We did ask if they had fatty brisket and that we would get a pound. The lady went and asked if they had any. She said they did. Didn't wait very long and went about our business. Went home opened up. And I guess I shouldnt have high expectations but the brisket wasn't really fatty and it was dry. We got Carolina sauce and regular bbq. We didn't really enjoy the brisket and threw away some of the pieces because they were overly dry. Definitely won't be back and honestly, i don't understand establishments that really just sell people things that are not up to par. If you don't have the meats or it doesn't look fresh. Why would you even sell it? Like I'm pretty sure if they saw what they served us, they probably wouldn't eat it either. Also, I should've known coming in around 6/630pm I would get the bottom of the barrel meats.

Fast, curious, light-hearted, anticipatory, and the server helped us successfully peel and eat the rock shrimp. Even the hostesses were pleasant. Atmosphere: 3/5 We were seated in an inside area, not close to the window. So, it felt a little dreary with the lighting. Nothing negative, but I perceived it to be an average atmosphere. Value: 4/5 Really good value. The food was affordable to almost cheap on some items. I was very pleased with the pricing. The food was seasoned, the portion size was nice, and again, the service was great. It was also a nice nostalgic experience for me. Opportunities for Learning: 4/5 The Dixie Crossroads has been around for decades. And the founders are pioneers in the peeling of rock shrimp, particularly in FL, so the restaurant story is amazing. Additionally, with the variety of seafood, there's much to discover and learn about the menu, rock shrimp, and the founding family's story.
