If and when Vitamin Shoppe makes an effort to rectify the situation in a manner that is more appropriate to the circumstances, I will happily adjust this review accordingly. So I recently have taken to placing some orders for supplements and other items online and picking them up from VS's retail store near where my work is located. This made things easy for me, but today I saw my PayPal statement grace my email inbox and imagine my surprise when I saw that my single purchase of just over 30 dollars was instead charged and deducted from my account 7 times! So, yeah, suffice it to say I was not pleased by this to put it mildly, but I still maintained professionalism and placed a call to their customer service 800 number. In my initial call the lady who answered my call was unable to offer any assistance and told me she had escalated my case and told me I would shortly receive a call back. Several hours later this was not the case, so I called them back. This time I was placed on the line with a rather hectic sounding gentleman who basically told me "ummm, we should have it handled in 2-3 days time" and quickly got me off the phone. Call me crazy, but when a vendor has an unauthorized charge for over 150 bucks do I not deserve more swift and definitive resolution? In the past when I have infrequently had problems with Paypal transactions from vendors, they process a refund instantaneously when they realize the error. That there was almost nonexistent sense of urgency is troubling to me on multiple levels. Not to mention, what if I was in a position where I could not afford to be out the 150 bucks? In any event, I have filed a dispute with Paypal, and I will await action from VS and update this review accordingly, but I would say it's more than safe to assume that I will be taking my business to GNC or bodybuilding.com for my sports nutrition needs moving forward. I ended up leaving with "Stone Free" tablets, glucosamine pills for our senior dog, chocolate chips, and facial products! I was excited to see Derma E products here, which I often ordered online from other stores in the past. Derma E has a reliable product line with options for many different skin types and for all ages. This store had one of my favorite products, the microderm facial scrub. It's a little pricey for a small jar, but a little goes a long way. I am happy to know I have a place close to home for my favorite skin care products. I also didn't know they have a little produce section here and some of my favorite refrigerated brands, like Califia Farms creamers and SO DELICIOUS coconut yogurt. The staff working were very nice and more than one person greeted me and asked if I needed assistance. I look forward to returning and trying more items.

They've helped me so much with lots of info on supplements I've asked about. The store is smallish but still definitely roomier inside than it looks from the outside. They have great products and I've seen different kinds of brands here for vitamins, supplements, etc. I signed up for their rewards program which gives you good coupons and deals, so I recommend signing up! They have a lot of parking right in front of the store, and I've never seen it be too busy inside or in the parking lot, so you're sure to always have a secure spot. Either way, I love this location of GNC for its knowledgeable & friendly staff and awesome products! Highly recommend coming here.

The sales associates are always kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. However, the only downside is that most of their products are over priced, you can find the same products online or at Walmart for cheaper. I have the free GNC rewards membership and it still doesn't make it worth it, I suggest only shopping here if what you're looking for is on discount, or there is a special sale. Otherwise, it's just not worth it.

The store is quite large and has their selections easily organized and easy to find. I usually go in every couple of months to stock up on my vitamins and everyone is so friendly. They also look at what you need (vegetarian, etc) pills and try to follow your budget as much as possible. It's a great location with great staff.
