I stopped in today as I was in the Schaumburg area for a family celebration. I'm a big Revolution person, it's almost all I buy. I am a med patient, but if there's a good promo going, I don't mind paying a small amount of the Rec tax. I used to shop at Enlightened in Mount Prospect on the medical side. However, since moving out of the local area- I haven't visited Enlightened in a long time. I stopped in to pick up some Rev concentrate. I placed my order online ahead of time- as I would have an Uber wait while I grab my pre-order. The dispensary inside is one of the most gorgeous in IL. The displays are colorful and sure to catch the eye. For the first time consumer, this is the place to go. The menu selection is impressive. Flower, extracts/concentrates, edibles, topicals, vapes. They also have a solid selection of merch and canna gear. They do have an ATM on site- as well as accepting debit cards. There is a small charge to use debit, so be aware of this. I entered the dispensary and headed straight for the checkout line. The place was pretty empty, MAYBE a handful of folks. A few in line checking out. I have never seen a place move so slowly in my life. I'd hate to see a busy weekend day. My Uber got tired of waiting, so it costed me money to summon another driver. The cashier was like watching paint dry. You should be able to be in and out. Instead, everything moves at a glacial pace. Offer a dedicated online pickup line. I also would love to see a bit more "pep" in the step to move people along. It shouldn't take 15 minutes of waiting with a handful of customers. Adding additional staff or registers would be extremely beneficial. As a first time visitor to that location, I did get 30% off. I truly appreciate it. The sale was very good. But I'll be honest: 10% off for medical is insulting compared to the competition. Most other dispensaries offer 15-25% off. They certainly can do better on this. I did appreciate the complimentary edible with an $80 purchase, thank you! I will certainly visit again when in the area, but as a seasoned cannabis consumer and med patient- I probably wouldn't go out of my way to visit there with how long it took to get in and out. The discount would need to be better or at least on par with the competition. Great selection. Gorgeous location. A process that needs a bit of refinement so things run smoothly. read more

Absolutely Disgraceful Customer Service - Bait and Switch Tactics If you're thinking of visiting Revolution as a first-time customer, don't. This place is a masterclass in how NOT to run a dispensary--from the moment I walked in, it was downhill. Seven employees standing around, not one said hello. Just stared at me like I walked into the wrong room. No professionalism. Zero courtesy. Eventually, one employee, David, waved me over and told me I'd get 30% off my entire purchase as a first-time customer. Based on that clear verbal promise, I made my purchase. No one said anything about exclusions or non-stackable discounts. No fine print on signage, no mention from staff, nothing. But after reviewing my receipt, it became obvious: the 30% was never applied. What they did was just sell me items already marked down (which I selected intentionally), then pretend that counted as my "discount." That's not a customer perk--that's sleight of hand. When I asked David about it, he couldn't explain anything. Said he was on pain meds for tetanus and literally couldn't form a straight answer. I'm not kidding--he was clearly impaired, slurring, eyes glassy. If that's your front-line representation, you've got serious problems. I contacted the company directly to resolve this and got back a snarky, tone-deaf anonymous email. No apology, no explanation for why their employee made a false promise, no effort to resolve the miscommunication. Unacceptable. That email? Already attached to my complaint with the Illinois Attorney General's office and the Better Business Bureau. I'll also be filing in small claims court for the lost discount and costs. I've got receipts--and theirs will be part of the evidence. Deceptive advertising. Unprofessional staff. Zero accountability. Revolution, you had a chance to fix this with basic decency. Instead, you went full corporate robot. I strongly suggest anyone considering shopping here look elsewhere. I'm shocked there are not more reviews here. Anyway I'm from a state where this isn't legal but I was dying to go in and look around to check it out. When you walk in there's a little lobby and they take your temp (covid procedure) and check your IDs. You are then escorted to the actual front door. You are met by a tour guide that shows the layout of the store to you and helps you shop. I had many questions and the guide was so helpful in explaining everything. My friend made a purchase and they created her order on an iPad. She went up to a counter to pay and they checked her ID again. They went over what she bought two times. Told her about their loyalty program etc. It didn't feel like what I expected to see. People were friendly and seemed happy working there. No one seemed stoned or out of it. The store was very clean and had a high design feel to it. They had different areas where the product was categorized- actual buds, edibles, concentrates, CBD etc. It was a very interesting outing and I learned a lot. Is the product they sell good? Enlightened is my go-to dispensary. There's one literally 5 min from my house, but I choose to make the 20min drive every time due to their spectacular friendly service. It is a Revolution dispensary & they have the best products in the area. They do fun things on the weekends. They have a great loyalty program & I've gotten loyalty discounts several times. Horrible place. Worst customer service ever. I have been to almost all recreational and medical dispensaries because I'm a true smoker aka "pothead" lol and I am the type that always like to try new things but the service here is horrible. I literally just called them because I had forgotten what the discount was for medical card holders and so I asked the man on the phone what is the discount for medical people and he told me 30% and I responded "that's like the taxes right" he says "yeah I suggest you go to a medical dispensary instead". When did I say that was too much? Or when did I say I didn't have enough. I wanted to ask for a manager but at that point I said I will write a review instead. As an employee in the cannabis industry you should want people to come to your establishment. Little did he know I spend literally 800-1000 a week on cannabis flower and money is nothing to me when it comes to weed also I have already been there I was just in the area and now I will never go to this place again or recommend it to anyone. Whoever is reading this you guys should try to go to RISE or ASCEND because this place is ripping you off anyways with their taxes and prices. And who wants to buy weed from somewhere that has employees like that because this is supposed to be a happy place. How dare that man on the phone say I should go somewhere else. Upon asking for the gentleman's name they were giving me a hard time. As if the staff is trying to cover it up because they don't want the employee to get in trouble. Horrible business. I am going to write an email to whoever is in charge of this business. Jim ended up calling me back and he still didn't have a name for me but a girl which it was not and Pete who is a manager but from what I was told the managers don't answer the phone. So I don't know but whoever suggested me to go somewhere else needs to be fired or at least trained with some etiquette. read more

THIS WAS THE BEST EXPERIENCE WE HAVE EVER HAD AT A DISPENSARY!!!!! Richie helped us and he so went way beyond my expectations- there just aren't words to describe how eternally grateful I am that I was lucky enough into him today!! I am a cancer survivor and I have a ton of chronic pain issues from my treatments and I have never been able to find the "right" product that actually helps me. The other dispensaries that I have been to trying to figure this out haven't been helpful at all. Richie REALLY KNOWS THIS STUFF and walked me through all the options for different pain issues and found me exactly what I needed. I'm grateful to be a 15 year survivor but living in severe chronic pain makes it devastatingly difficult to enjoy life and I really felt like I was never going to find something helped my specific issue and TODAY RICHIE DID IT FOR ME. I'm truly so grateful to have met him today - I'm literally in tears of joy thanking God for putting him in my path!! Worst customer service ever completely rude people. I used my PayPal account to pay on the app because it wouldn't let me order without paying I got there to pick it up and they wanted me to pay $150 again they're ripping me off! They canceled the order so fast called Security on me because I insisted I wanted to get my receipt from my phone to show it to them and Men treated me like absolute crap because I'm a girl ! What a bunch of a holes all I know is friends went there all the time and told me how it works I paid went to pick up my bag at the front and they made me try to pay again and the card wouldn't go through obviously cuz I'd already paid online and then they tell me they don't accept payments online but they certainly did it was their website and their app . They are absolutely horrible at customer service they don't know what they're doing and they should stop sampling their own product while they're at work so they can at least do their jobs . These people are THIEVES !! Either the regular employees or management.. or who knows maybe they're all in on it. I have shopped 4 different dispensaries and this Schaumburg store is my favorite. The products they have on display and for sale are very easy to look-compare and read up on. The staff is exceedingly knowledgeable/ helpful the 3 times I have visited this store. Each time I have upsold myself and purchased more than I had intended. The variety is so wide it is literally like being in a candy store. They even have a senior discount which is mighty decent of them to offer. My last up-sale was a chocolate almond toffee bar.
