We went in for the 3D/4D ultrasound and baby was not in a good position to get good photos, so they rescheduled us with no extra fees or charges for 2 weeks later to see if she moved to a better position l. We went back in and she was in a better position. We got 4 photos printed (included in the price) all other photos and video of the session was emailed to us. They have an iption to add on a stuffed animal with babies heart beat. There are about 4 stuffed animal options in the office, but they have lots of other options that you can order and pick up 4 weeks later. Ultrasound tech was kind, and patient. You can bring up to 5 guests with you to see baby as well. This was our second time coming here. 1st time was 13 years ago with our 1st born. read more

This is my first pregnancy and my OB wouldn't see me until week 9. One of my pregnant friends recommended Baby Connection and I saw on their website that they do early ultrasounds starting at 6 weeks. I wasn't going to wait 9 weeks to see my baby, so I booked my appointment at TBC without any issues and went on a Saturday morning. I was 6w4d on the day I went and I was able to see my little jelly bean! The ultrasound tech was very kind and explained what we were seeing on the screen. We saw the fetal pole, the yolk sac, and my baby with its little heart beat! I could clearly see the heart flickering and I felt so much better after knowing everything was okay. Being I just loss my mother to cancer in December I wasn't in the spirit to do the ultrasound and teddy bear for my unborn but I prayed on it and I came to this place last week to do the ultra package my son wasn't giving good angles but I still purchased the package and paid extra for 8k and I paid for a teddy bear heartbeat. They receptionist called me after we left said they forgot to charge me $80 for the 8k photo I told her I was willing to turn around and come back to pay but she assured me they would still send the 8k image off and would hold it in the email until I paid the rest at the next visit. They rescheduled me for today. I paid the remaining balance which was only $30 not $80 and I had free ten minute session the tech was in a rush wasn't getting any good shots I still paid for extra photos I ask about the 8k photo and she said they never sent it off. I'm so hurt, angry and upset not only did I spend over $200 at your business but the receptionist also assured me she would send it off and she didn't. I was going to display the ultrasound photo at my baby shower this weekend and now I won't be able to. Okay! Listen, I went to the Roseville location on Sunrise. I went initially and baby was not in a good position, so I returned 2 weeks later. The website says 20 minutes. She's actually spent about 5 to 7 minutes with me the first time asking me to reposition as she left the room for about five minutes at a time. I came back two weeks later. Again, she did not spend 25 minutes with me, she seemed to be in a rush. I guess she knows what she's looking at, but I do not and she didn't take the time to explain. Out of the 25 minutes, she only spent about 5 to 7 minutes with me. And went very quickly. I had to send my son out to tell her the baby was moving to come back. I really wish she would've spent the 25 minutes and put a little bit more effort finding a better position in picture. I'm 40 years old. This is my last time having a baby and I feel like it was a very rushed. The pictures were OK, but I did have a better experience my last two kids which was over 10 years ago. The quality of the pictures was just OK. They forgot to give me my stuffed animal with the heartbeat and called me when I was almost home, at that point they gave me an option for them to restock it and forget the heartbeat. They also forgot my enhancement picture which I had to remind them. Very organized very lazy. I'm not happy with this experience at all. I am 32 weeks and when an ultrasound tech says they're going to spend 25 minutes with you. They shouldn't leave to walk back to the front desk grab their phone and start scrolling. I purchased the full 4D package. Registered online and they called me to schedule an appointment. I was happy that they open on the weekends, because my husband was able to attend the session. I was 35 weeks 4 days when I had the ultrasound done. My baby was sleeping, LOL. The technician tried to jostle her in order to wake her up, but my little one was having none of it. Babies are unpredictable like that. Overall the pics were clear and I am glad I got to experience this, especially since it is my fifth and final baby and my only girl. I have never had a 4D ultrasound before. Ironically, I went to the hospital that night for high blood pressure and had my baby a few days later at 35 weeks exactly. We have come here multiple times throughout the pregnancy and it has offered not only excellent customer service but an amazing peace of mind. I found this external ultrasound facility when my anxiety was super high, becuase we have gone thorugh IVF. I was really looking foward to being able to lay eyes on our little one while we still were unable to see her and feel her kick. That's where the peace of mind comes from. I am so grateful that this place exists, the staff was super kind, and they have always been on time. Now as we reach the end of the pregnancy, we will certainly be coming back for one more sneak peak before we finally meet our little one earth side. I look forward to it. If you are able to, make sure that you get a heartbeat bear/or other animal. We just had our visit here at 31 weeks! Unfortunately baby was head up and facing my back and we couldn't get any footage of him. They said we could come back in 1-2 weeks and try again at no extra charge and try again! The staff and experience though was A+. The room your in is comfortable. The technician was super sweet, made us feel comfortable and talked us through everything including what we were seeing on the screen (first time parents haha). Check in process was easy! The office is clean and welcoming. Seating is comfortable in the lobby. She showed us at one point the baby in 3D and he was literally blocking his head and face with his hand wanting to be left alone :D haha (picture attached). They also have these little heart beat buddies that are totally over the top but like I said first time parents. We got a floppy elephant with our babies heart beat inside. This place is incredibly welcoming and it's very cozy feeling. Does not feel like a doctors office. I came here twice in my pregnancy once for the gender reveal and another for the 3D/4D scan and because of covid my boyfriend hadn't been to ANY appointments with me or our baby but he was allowed to see our babe at this place it was so special. If I could give zero stars I would. To pregnant women everywhere, please pet this review serve as a WARNING. I went to the baby connection located on N. Sunrise ave. In Citrus heights. I arrive early for my appointment that was scheduled at 10:40. My appointment was for a blood draw to find out the gender of my baby. When I got there I checked in and was asked to be seated and told that I would be next. Another woman came in and checked in for her 11 appointment and was asked to be seated a few moments later they called her back. I walked up to the receptionist and politely asked when I would be seen since I had been waiting for about 45 minutes. The receptionist said that the phlebotomist grabbed the papers and called the wrong person back she apologized and told me that I would be next. The phlebotomist open the door to call the next customer and a secretary told her "(me) is next she was supposed to be seen before the last girl." The phlebotomist said "well it's her turn now" with an attitude and then called me back. When I got in the room she was obviously annoyed she didn't greet me and she was very short with me. She looked at both my arms and said out loud "well I guess I will try this arm first." I realize now that should have been a red flag as no one has ever had trouble drawing blood from my arms. I have extremely prominent veins and I stay hydrated. Nothing about the "appearance" of my veins should have gave her any notion that she was about to have trouble drawing my blood. She proceeded to insert the needle in the first arm she pulled it in and out and move it around a few times before she said "well it's in there I don't know what's going on with it." She kept pointing to the needle and saying "see it's all the way in, I don't know..." To which I responded so it's in my vein but no blood is coming out?" She said "well there's obviously blood in your veins you must be dehydrated." She was scoffing anytime she spoke to me. She moved on to my next arm while the first arm was leaking blood and the same thing happened with this arm. I even said "ow, this hurts" at one point because of how much she was moving the needle around. I stayed calm even though I was extremely uncomfcomfortable. She said "well I don't know what to tell you" and I asked her "okay what do I do now?" She said "you can do whatever you want to do I don't know what to tell you." At this point my emotions were getting the best of me and I was upset so I walked out with tears in my eyes and walked up to the receptionist and said "can I please have a refund she wasn't able to dtaw my blood after poking my arms several times." The receptionist was sitting next to another woman who said Nothing during our encounter. The receptionist asked me if I wanted to reschedule and I told her no thank you I just want my money back and to leave please. They refunded me and I walked to my car and called my sister and cried. My sister told me to go in and ask for the phlebotomist license number and the owner of baby connections name. I went back in to find out that the other woman sitting behind the front desk was in fact the owner. She said nothing to me besides giving me the information that I asked for and telling me that the phlebotomist was third party. I feel violated and appalled at the whole situation. I'm shocked at how the owner handled it (or didnt at all) read more

We had our first appt with Baby Connection in Roseville today at 17 weeks. We left about three hours ago and all I can think about was what an incredible experience this was today. We previously went to Little Bellies in Sacramento and it was good, but we felt a little bit rushed and it was clear the tech had been doing this all day. Here at Baby Connection it felt like a friend was doing the ultrasound... she interacted with us and gave us so many different views of the baby. She showed us the umbilical cord, the placenta, all the little movements. It felt like she truly cared and was as interested as we are, even if she HAS been doing this all day. I was surprised that even at 17 weeks, we got some sneak peaks of the 3D imaging and let me tell you- I'll never forget the feeling of seeing a real life baby on that screen! How special. We scheduled our first attempt for 4D ultrasound when I was 30 weeks along, but baby was not cooperating. They rescheduled us out 2 weeks to give her some time to change positions, but again she was transverse and hiding her face. We ended up trying 3 times in total, and although we were not able to get any shots of baby (no fault of Baby Connection), I have to give them 5 stars. They didn't charge me anything for the 3 attempts we had scheduled. I was shocked, since we took up 3 separate appointments. The ultrasound technician was very personable and gave me some tips for helping baby flip. I would have loved to see her in 3D, but she arrived shortly after our last attempt anyway, so we got to see her in person! I would recommend them for your ultrasound needs! read more

My husband and I had such a good experience here. We drove all the way from Reno to get our 3D/4D sonogram done. The technicians we so helpful. We ended up going three because the first time the baby was breach the first time, turned away the second time, and FINALLY in a good position the third time. The tech was so helpful and positive every time. When the baby was breach or turned away she still tried to get a good photo for 5 min then let me drink cold water and walk around to try and get the baby moving, and get a good photo every time. For 3 sessions we only paid for 1 because we only got 1 or 2 good pictures the first 2 times. I was so happy with the office, and even though my baby didn't cooperate and most the pictures weren't great, I felt like they did every thing they could to wake her up and get a good photo. If I have another one I will definitely make the 2 hour drive to come to this center to get my 3D/4D pictures done. I attached my best 2 photos. One is from 32 weeks and the other is 34 weeks. I think the 32 week photos would have been the best if the baby cooperated, because at 34 weeks there wasn't much room for the baby to move anymore and the placenta was in the way a lot. read more

The hubs and I are expecting and were uber excited when a friend directed us to Baby Connections. We were 18 weeks along and about 3 weeks from our next appointment. It seemed like an eternity till we got to find out. We made an appointment right away at Baby Connections! Mind you, I would have gone the next day without the hubs, but his proclamations of that choice as being selfish and unfair got to me...LOL! So I made him get up the crack ass of dawn to be the first appointment of the day on a Saturday. I call that compromise!! For only $50 you can have a 2d ultrasound and as early as 14 weeks get a gender determination. You also get 2 black and white photos along with a CD of all the images and a DVD set to a lullaby. Pretty sweet deal! I'm almost tempted to go back and spend the $75 for a 3d/4d scan so I can see what the baby is going to look like. Keep in mind you have to be at least 20 weeks along to get that done because the baby doesn't have enough fat to show their cute little cheeks just yet.
