Bought a stroller and they sent me the wrong frame because the website was not clear. I have to take some of the blame for that, so I returned it and paid for the correct frame PLUS POSTAGE OF THE NEW FRAME at the same time because I was in a hurry. When I received my correct frame, they didn't include the fabric set, so had to send that separately after. No big deal so far. But, they refunded me $85.90 short of what I'm owed and the woman dealing with it is clearly out of her depth. I'll leave the details below. Our 4 parents all chipped in for this stroller and all of them and my wife will be leaving reviews here and on Google until this is resolved fairly. 7/10 Paid $999 BoA Card 7/17 Paid $1039 ($1031 + $8) Paypal 7/31 Refunded $879.05 to BoA card Means I paid $1158.95; take off the postage of the black frame to me ($59.86). do not order anything online from this store!! Ordered a stroller/car seat on July 12 today is August 7th and still haven't received. Been told twice by customer service that I would receive within three days. Contacted customer service today and am still waiting for over 4 hours for someone to can me back. On Monday, BabyDen told me Federal Express would deliver my purchase by Friday August 9th got email last night saying UPS would deliver by Monday, August 12 a whole month after I ordered. This is a gift for my daughter's (my first grandchild) baby shower on Saturday. So now I left WITHOUT a gift.. **Do not order from them online** I noticed someone else had a similar experience like mine with them. I ordered a Dockatot grand cover from them 2 days after Thanksgiving. It's Jan 7th and it's STILL NOT HERE. And I've tried. My husband purchases the Rockaroo made by 4moms on Baby's den website. we received the confirmation email 7/12/15 with a notification that it would ship for free within 14 days and that we would receive another email with tracking info. Of course the money was pulled out right away but where was the damn communication?!? After receiving no emails or updates of any kind my husband emailed baby's den on 7/20 to obtain an update. I decided to chat with customer service as well. I was informed that the shipment baby's den received from 4moms was damaged and they were expecting in another shipment. I was also advised I would still get the product within the 14 days as promised by overnighting the rockaroo. Shortly after, Sylvia responded to my husbands Email with a vague "we will send it to you as soon as possible" response. Needless to say it is day 15 and they JUST shipped it. I'm so disappointed that I can't even review the actual store or customer service. I came to this store with my mom to look at the Nuna Mixx. And we couldn't even get in. I stood outside ringing the bell in the snow and 7 months pregnant. No one ever came to the door. Now I can only assume they didn't let us because we are black. The door stays locked so they can pick and choose who comes in. I live in the neighborhood which is predominantly Jewish. I see only white or Jewish woman being allowed in. Its absolutely ridiculous that one of the only stores carrying "high end" strollers would be so incredibly rude and racist to not let paying customers in. If you are looking for good customer service then I suggest NOT doing business with Baby's Den...PERIOD! I recently ordered a Cybex stroller travel system from them and was initially happy with them when they answered a few questions and then promptly "took my payment" and shipped my order, which I received very quickly. However, when I received my order they had shipped the wrong stroller frame and wheel set, which I immediately called and brought to their attention. I was told to take a picture of the box, which clearly showed they had made a mistake and sent the wrong item, and email that to them so they could figure out what to do. I followed up with a phone call that same day to make sure they received it and was informed they were looking into it and would get back with me. That was a week ago. I waited a couple of days and decided to call again and was told they were still working on it. I still did not hear back so followed up with another email and then another phone call. I finally talked to Jay, who said he was sorry and would take care of it himself and would call me the next day personally. At 5pm the next day and not being contacted, I called again and talked to Jay who said they would be emailing me a label to ship back the wrong item and send me the correct one...it's now 3 days later, another email sent by me and another unanswered phone call....and absolutely NO follow up or customer service from Babys Den. Getting ready for a new baby's arrival is stressful enough without this kind of not caring and frustration. Worst online shopping experience of my life. Terrible customer service!!!!!!! Ordered a Maxi Cosi infant car seat on July 8th, got a shipping notice July 9th with tracking information that read 'picked up by Fed Ex' (that was fast!) and remained that way for a week with no updates (odd). Totally not the fault of the Baby's Den but, after not receiving a reply to my email to customer service for a few days, I give them a call to find out when the heck this seat might arrive. Hmmm, the rep says, we have been having a lot of trouble with Fed Ex, let me open an investigation. 3 days later I call them again. They haven't heard anything from Fed Ex, but she suggests we give them a few more days and then I should call back. Not that they would call me with an update, I should call back. So, I call back. July 24th. The rep says they are just going to go ahead and call it lost freight, and since they don't have any more of that model, would I be interested in paying more for a different but similar model? Fine, $&%# happens, I get it. She did offer me a few dollars off, so I agreed to have that new seat shipped to me (I believe she said 'expedited'). And now it is Tuesday, July 29th and having not even gotten an email about the new seat that is supposed to be shipped, I call back. Hmmm, the rep says, let me check with the warehouse. Well, they were not answering the phone, so she said to wait until 4pm and then call her back to see what is going on (do they not have outgoing call capabilities?). I call at 4 pm and get put on hold while the rep looks into the problem, which clearly has not been looked at since the time we spoke 4 hours ago. She finally gets back on the line to tell me that they didn't actually have the replacement seat they upgraded me to in stock and hadn't sent anything to me last Friday, but we could take a peek at their inventory and see what colors they have in stock and she could ship me a seat. ARE YOU SERIOUS?! She seemed shocked when I asked for a refund (for both my initial purchase and the extra money I stupidly agreed to pay for the upgraded model last Friday). Apparently now they have to send my request for a refund over to another department, so who knows when that will be processed. I am disgusted. Not even so much with the inventory situation, but the total inability of anyone I spoke with to take ownership of the situation. So, Baby's Den: Please. Have mercy on parents and get your act together. Thanks to your horrid customer service, I am now only 4 weeks away from delivering and don't have a seat for the baby in my car. I ordered a Silver Cross Jet Stroller $399.00 . Description stated up to 40 lbs. The Stroller is only 11 wide and too narrow for my Husky Toddler Grandson. I Notified them immediately (next day) and was told they would not ACCEPT my RETURN because I OPENED the BOX ! Their Return Policy states they Don't accept Returns on OPENED Items. Stating I opened Silver Cross original Card Board Box . YET. They Are the Ones who opened the BOX. To INCLUDE their. FREE GIFT as stated on their Website. They then resealed the Box with Clear Tape which means. I did not open the Original Seal . THEY DID. Even after pointing that out . "Meaning ..THEY ACTUALLY VIOLATED THEIR OWN RETURN POLICY . NOT ME. They still refused to Issue a RMA # and stated if I returned the Stroller without a RMA # they will not issue a Refund , even after I would agree to the Shipping Costs. " Jessica". Advised me in an email that perhaps I should ask for someone to help me fit the " KID" into the Stroller. During several email exchanges it was clear that THEY will not Accept my Return under any circumstances. I submitted images to show that THEY retaped the BOX . DO NOT ORDER ONLINE. I was a loyal customer. I have ordered the Doona and accessories from them. Even when one of the items was defective i received amazing customer service. However this last shipment has been a complete nightmare. I ordered two 2017 Nuna Rava car seats ( one in Blackberry and one in Charcoal). I only received the Blackberry colored car seat. The Charcoal colored car seat was lost during transit or was stolen. I placed the order back in Nov. 28 2017. And i am still dealing with them to fix the issue. Baby den will not replace lost or stolen items. It is in their policy. You actually have to go through Fedex to get a refund. Unfortunately If Baby's Den did not require a signature on your high value item (like they did with me) Fedex will deny your claim and you are SOL!! The company policy states that if you waived your signature then you are solely responsible for your item. I did not waive my signature. The shipper did it and somehow Baby's Den still left me with the responsibility of the missing item. Even though it was completely out of my control. It has been a complete nightmare. I can not believe they could treat anyone this way. Buyer Beware. Do Not Buy Online. Imagine walking into the store pay for your item and then they won't let you leave with it. Ordered a stroller canopy, was my first order with them, because I couldn't find the specific canopy elsewhere (Cybex Mios). I needed it quickly because I was traveling with the baby the following week, so I ordered "priority overnight" shipping, paid extra $30. 2 days after the order, I realized that it wasn't shipped yet. I contacted their customer service and asked for shipping fees reimbursement. They were nice and friendly and reimbursed it right away. Now, I was still waiting for my canopy to ship. 4 days later, no answer from The Baby's Den. I follow-up by email, and get an auto-reply that their offices are closed (no particular reason, on a Thursday, no national holiday). It said "closed until Monday" and "all items will ship then". I had my flight on Monday. Thanks a lot! Traveling to hot Texas without a sun canopy. Shameful. This was the first and the last time I ordered something from them. read more

Do business with caution...i order stuff online a LOT and have no problem dropping $$ for service or product. I ordered a Boba carrier but had never tried it on. Baby's Den shipped the carrier quickly. I had it out of the box for 1 min to discover it doesn't work for my body. All tags attached. All new and pretty. I wrote for a return authorization and waited 2 days with no response. Finally called and was hassled - she questioned whether or not I submitted it - while I'm staring at the screen that says "awaiting their approval". She never seemed to believe me but went ahead anyway. She then tells me timidly, "you are aware of our return policies, right?" Along with the normal charge to return I will also be retroactively charged for shipping it to me (which was advertised as free) as well as a 15% restocking fee. What???! To try the carrier costs me $50+ dollars? I'd rather give it away than pay her to just resell. She then emails me she'd like to "discuss" this with me. I have enough stress. Haven't been to the store personally, but an item I ordered was apparently lost in the mail by FedEx. It happens, yes, but it took them 4 business days to figure that out, after multiple calls. In the end I was given an option to take a refund and had to place a rush order with even more expensive shipping at a different store to make up for lost time. Company is a scam received a message from paypal holding my fund for safety until they receive tracking number. Less than 30 minute received a message with a tracking number for a specific delivery day. 4 days pass it was a label they never shipped the item returned to paypal and waiting for a refund after escalating the problem in 3 days. My advice stay away it is probably an illegal scam of not having any item and placing funds in interest account until you complain and they refund you after wasting your time. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. here's the deal- these people are liars and scam artists. my mother in law ordered us a car seat over a week ago. we called to confirm they had it in stock and ready to ship. they told us they did. my MIL paid extra for expedited delivery. several days pass and we get no shipping notification. after several calls (and several promises they would call us back and NEVER doing so), we finally request the order be cancelled so we can take our business elsewhere. they refuse and say that they spoke to the manufacturer of the car seat and placed an order to have the seat shipped directly to us. ignoring the fact that they already lied and told us they had the seat in stock themselves. they say they need to hear back from the manufacturer to get a shipping estimate and will get back in touch with us. several more days and a lot more runaround later, we finally decide to contact the manufacturer (clek) ourselves to see if we can find out what's up. clek were WONDERFUL and bent over backwards to assist us. they found the person who handles the baby's den account and had them personally look into the issue and discovered that not only had baby's den NOT placed an order, they hadn't even contacted clek regarding our seat. despite the person over at baby's den telling us repeatedly that they had. clek even offered to have their account manager reach out directly to baby's den to confirm the order and get it shipped but at this point we did not feel comfortable with baby's den taking my MIL's money and frankly did not trust them to actually follow up with clek. another call to baby's den detailing the blatant lies they told us and a threat to open a claim via paypal was what it finally took for them to agree to issue a refund. the person on the phone still tried to continue to lie and claim they placed our order with clek two weeks ago....which seems unlikely because that's before we even placed the order with them. please do not brush off the bad reviews you see here and take your business elsewhere. read more
